One of the first major story choices to be made is after visiting the abandoned village. The task is issued by Uzheskis, and whatever one may say, but in order to further advance in the story, you must select a tribe in Biomutant.

The first two tribes are opposites of each other, but this does not mean at all that one of them is bad and the second is good:
- Myriad. These guys act as "good people", world peace, etc. They have their own code of honor, and their motives are based on the common good. They strive to unite a disparate world. They are trying to save the Tree of Life.
- Jagni. A militant people who believe that for world balance it is necessary to eliminate the weak. In their opinion, it is worth cleansing the planet in order to start a new cycle of recovery. Support the world eaters in their attempts to bring down the Tree of Life.
Both tribes howl with each other, so after choosing one of them, the second one will automatically become hostile towards the main character.
Along the way, you will meet two patrols of Myriad and Jagni fighting. In this case, you can support any of the units - it won't affect it later.. Next, follow to one of the fortresses to talk with Shifu.
The visits to the chiefs are identical, both Shifus talk about your mother, their philosophy of tribal warfare, and ask to join. If refuse once - Asked to reconsider the proposal.
