What is a Primogem Calculator?

The Primogem Calculator is a free online tool on WotPack that will help you calculate whether you have enough resources to build your desired 5-star character in Genshin Impact. It takes into account all sources of income: from daily quests to combat content and patch events.

How to use

Step 1: Enter Current Resources

In the "Current resources" block, specify:

• Primogems — the current number of Primogems (the number is visible in the upper right corner of the game).
• Krutki — the number of Intertwined Fates (event spins).
• Brilliance — Starry Glitter. Every 5 units can be exchanged for 1 spinner at Paimon's shop.

Step 2: Set up the guarantor (Pity)

• Current pity - how many spins have you already done without receiving 5★ (visible in the prayer history).
• 100% Guarantee — Enable this if the previous 5★ was not from a banner (lost 50/50). This means the next 5★ is guaranteed to be a banner.

Step 3: Select income sources

All sources are divided into groups:

📋 Permanent income:

• Daily Quests - 60 Primogems per day (enabled by default).

⚔️ Combat content:

• Spiral Abyss — refreshes on the 16th of each month. Choose the number of stars: 9/18/27/36. At 36★, you get 800 Primogems per refresh.
• Imaginarium Theater — Updates on the 1st of each month. Choose acts: 3/5/8/10/12. Acts 10 and 12 include Arcana rooms (Act 12 includes two additional rooms). Completing 12 acts rewards 1000 Primogems.
• Stygian Onslaught — appears once per patch in the first phase. Choose a difficulty level: 1/2/3. Reaching level 3 rewards 450 Primogems.

🎉 Patch content:

• Events — the main and secondary events of the patch. Data is updated before each patch.
• Quests and achievements — story missions and achievements of the first phase.
• Stream promo codes — 300 Primogems for each developer stream (3 codes of 100).
• Technical service — 600 Primogems for each update.
• BP tasks (artifact crafting) — 60 Primogems for completing free Battle Pass missions.
• Other — web events, character runs, HoYoLAB check-in, and other promotions.
• Clearing the area - enable if a new territory is expected in the patch (disabled by default).

• Paimon Shop - 5 event spins available on the 1st of each month for Stardust.

💰 Donat (Here's a separate guide on donating in Genshin.):

• Wellin Moon — 90 Primogems per day (disabled by default).
• Gnostic Hymn — 680 Primogems + 4 Spins for the Battle Pass (disabled by default).

Step 4: Select a target banner

Click on the desired banner from the list. Banners from the current patch to 6.7 are available. You can also select "Custom Date" and specify a custom date.

Step 5: Click "Calculate"

The calculator will show:

• Total number of primogems and twists, which you will accumulate by the selected date.
• Probability of receiving banner 5★ taking into account pity and 50/50.
• Verdict — is it enough for the guarantee or not, and what is the deficit?
• Detailed breakdown - Click the "Detailed Breakdown" button to view each source.

How does the Pity system work?

• From the 1st to the 73rd spin, the chance of getting 5★ is ~0.6%.
• It starts from the 74th spin soft pity — the chance increases by ~6% for each spin.
• At the 90th spin - hard pity — guaranteed 5★.
• Most 5★s appear between 75 and 82 spins.
• When you get 5★ there is 50/50 — 50% chance to get a banner, 50% — a standard.
• If you lose 50/50, the next one is 5★ guaranteed banner.
• Worst case: 180 wishes (28,800 primogems) - two hard pities in a row.

How many spins can you accumulate during the patch (42 days)

Data for patch 6.4. Values ​​may vary depending on the number of events and the presence of new territory.

Patch data

The calculator contains individual data for each patch:

• 6.4 — patch without new territory, 3 events (960+420+420), Varka's quest (95).
• 6.5 — presumably Linnea's quest (~90), standard events.
• 6.6 - Possible assignment of archons (~460) and expansion of Mondstadt.
• 6.7 — the latest expansion for Nod-End, with a lot of content like in 6.3.

For future patches without confirmed data, average values ​​are used.
