Chenyu's Adept Tea Genshin impact is a resource that grows in the warm and humid areas of the Chengyu Valley. This type of tea leaves, specially bred by local residents, is distinguished by its incredible intensity of aroma and taste. The smell of collected plants is so strong that it can be felt even several streets away.
In this guide, we'll tell you where to find Chenyu Adept tea and show you the best farming routes on the map. We’ll also look at whether you can buy, grow, or get a plant for free.
What does Chenyu Adept Tea look like?
Chenyu Adepts' Tea is a tall plant of rich green color, with long, smooth leaves growing on tall stems. In the open world, tea bushes are not distinguished by bright colors or large buds, which is why when searching for them you will have to rely only on the small spark inherent in all resources.
Preparing to farm Chenyu Adept Tea
To make the process of searching and collecting materials more comfortable, we recommend preparing in advance for collecting the resource. Certain game characters with special skills and talents, as well as a whole section of “Adventure” dishes, can help with this.
Featured Characters
Some game heroes can greatly facilitate the process of collecting resources due to abilities that can reduce stamina consumption or increase movement speed. Also useful will be those characters who have unique skills: flight, alternative sprint, or others.

Where to find Chenyu Adept Tea in Genshin Impact: farming routes
Chenyu Adept tea grows in the wild nature of the northern Li Yue region. The most common tea bushes are found near Qiaoying Village and surrounding areas. In total, you can find in the Chenyu Valley 98 Adeptov tea bushes.
Southern Chenyu Hills
There are only two gathering places for Adept tea in this area - in the Yaode Valley and in the east of it. The tea here is not in the form of bushes, but lies in boxes or stone vessels.
Upper Chenyu Gorge
Most of the tea grows or lies in finished form in the north of the Chenyu Valley. In total, two separate areas can be distinguished here - the village of Qiaoying and the port of Yilong.
Qiaoying Village
The largest amount of this resource can be found in the village area. Travel to the teleport in this location and collect the tea that grows on the plantations around the village. Also quite a lot of resource can be found inside the Chunming Tea House.
Afterwards, move to the teleportation point in the west and move along the road to the canopy, under which there is tea in barrels and boxes.
Yilong Port
In Yilong Port, Chenyu Adept tea can be found mainly in processed form. Move to the teleporter near the piers and collect several pieces of tea that are in wicker baskets or laid out to dry in the sun.
After this, teleport to the east. Two more resources are found in wooden crates.
How long does it take for Chenyu Adept Tea to recover?
Like other resources used in cooking, Chenyu Adept tea is restored within 1 real day after collection. When going resource gathering for the first time, mark the largest concentrations of plants so that you can periodically visit them and replenish supplies.
If you don’t want to wait for plants to respawn, you can go to the worlds of other players and farm materials in cooperative mode.
Where to buy Chenyu Adept Tea
This product, in addition to being collected in the open world, can be purchased from two merchants in the Chenyu Valley.
Feng Tai
The owner of a sundries shop located in Yilong Port. You can find Feng Tai a little north of the teleport. He sells 10 units tea for 240 Mora a piece. Product is updated every 3 day.
Lian Fan
A snack merchant from Wulong Port, which is located south of the teleport in this location. To get to it, take the elevator down. Like the previous seller, you can buy from her 10 units tea for 240 Mora once in 3 day.
How to get Chenyu Adept Tea for free
You can get tea for free once from the NPC in Yilong Port. Travel to the location and climb the wooden stairs to the second floor of the building to the west of the teleporter. Talk to the tea seller Jiu Guan. After the dialogue she will give 5 units tea of the Adepts.
How to grow Chenyu Adept Tea in the Teapot of Serenity
Although tea is a culinary ingredient, it cannot be grown independently in Kettle. This product can only be obtained through collecting in the open world or purchasing in stores.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to grow tea.
where can I find recipes with tea?
There are 4 of them: one is given according to the plot of the location, the other 3 are bought from a merchant in the port of Ilong
Finally it will be possible to make tea for Risley
Hooray! Finally they will bring full-fledged tea! As a tea lover, I really wanted to get tea in Genshin. I know that you can buy a bowl of tea in Li Yue and there is a recipe for fruit tea, but that’s not it. I need tea that I can make myself.
It’s strange that the list includes Kokomi, Beidou, Ayaka and Mona, who make it easier to move on water, but there is no Furina, who simply kicks these four out of the same list, with two legs and to hell.
Not everyone has it, but Mona or Beidou and Kokomi may well have it. Since Mona is a standard leg, Beidou is a four, and Kokomi has been in the game for quite a long time. And Furina, shock, not everyone played, so yes, she replaces them all, but if ONLY Furina is there, it’s somehow not fair to others.
It’s still strange to mention, but not everyone. What difference does it make - new characters or old ones, if any minor buff for movement and collection is considered. It’s just that she’s clearly worth adding to the “useful” characters for collecting. After all, there is Nahida too - with her long arms for collecting herbs. The logic of “the character banner only appeared once in the game, so it should be ignored” is strange. Rosaria ignored me and didn’t show up, even though she’s a fairly ancient aunt. The number of banner repetitions does not affect the usefulness when collecting resources...
Does everyone have a character here or not? I don’t have Mona, Beidou, or even Kokomi :)) But I do have Furina.
This list is not built from the logic of “everyone has it,” but according to its usefulness for studying/getting something in the world. Saya was added with her skill, Nahida. Why not add Furina, which helps you run on water on CD?
And why “ONLY Furina” when it can be added in the same way as sayu - as a separate item? Unfair to others, wow... Unfair justice for you, sir
