
Gothic 1 remake retains the original's rigid approach: in a colony, it's easy to run out of ore, lose an important item, ruin relationships with NPCs, or get stuck on a quest due to a locked door, a missed key, or a poor choice. In such situations, console commands can be a lifesaver—they let you quickly add a needed item, open a lock, change the time, test a skill, summon a character, or manually correct a quest's progress.
This guide contains working cheat codes for the Gothic remake: commands for items, weapons, armor, runes, skills, NPCs, and quests, as well as item IDs from various categories. Before entering the commands, separate save, because some cheats can affect the progress and state of the game world.
How to enable the console in Gothic 1 Remake
The console is added to the game via "BP Mod Loader and Console Enabler", which can be installed from NexusModsThe title doesn't have a built-in developer mode, so the set of available commands will be significantly limited.
- Register or log in to the resource and click the "Manual" button to download the archive with the modification.
- Find the game in your Steam library, right-click it, and go to "Properties." Click "Installed Files," then "Browse" to open the game's root folder.
- Drag the contents of the archive with the downloaded mod to the folder along the path "..\steamapps\common\Gothic 1 Remake\G1R\Content\Paks"There should be three new files named "SML".
Modification conflicts with UE4SS, so first remove this library and all mods associated with it.
By default, the console is accessed by pressing the "~" key. If you want to change the binding, open the game's properties and find "Launch Options" in the "General" section. Enter the following command in the line: "-consolekey=KEY" without quotes and after “=” indicate a convenient hotkey.

They help you view or reset violations that can cause NPCs to react aggressively to the hero.
