Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord has a built-in function for introducing cheat codes and making other changes to the in-game command line. This allows you to vary the characteristics of the character, his army, relations between factions and much more.
In earlier versions, the console had to be installed as a separate mod, but starting from v.1.7.2 and above it is added by default. From the article you will learn how to use cheats in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord and a complete list of all codes (console commands).

Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord Cheats - List of Codes (Console Commands)
Now you can go directly to the activation codes. If cheats do not work in the current campaign, it is recommended to start a new one. How to Enable the Developer Console in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord
How to activate the developer console
There are two methods:
- Download and install mod Developer Console. Use this method only if you want to play older builds.
- Upgrade to v. 1.7.2 or higher. It has been verified that on the latest versions of the mod on the console there is no need to download it: it is built into the game.
Now enter the company, hold down Alt + ~ (tilde). The developer command panel is activated.
List of console commands
Activate cheat mode via string config.cheat_mode 1, deactivate via config.cheat_mode 0. Now you do not need to endlessly check the configuration file.
Basic console commands:
- campaign.give_troops help - a list of IDs and names of all units in the game. Required for the command below.
- campaign.give_troops [ID] [X] – allows you to get X warriors from the selected squad. Instead of ID, put the ID of the squad you are interested in from the list received by the command above.
- campaign.add_gold_to_hero [X] – gives the hero X gold.
- сampaign.add_skill_xp_to_hero [Skill Name] [Experience] [Character Name] - increases the level of the selected skill.
- campaign.add_renown_to_clan [X] - gives X glory to the clan.
- campaign.conceive_child - the hero marries a random partner, after which a child will be conceived immediately.
- campaign.set_skills_of_hero [X] [Character name] - gives the hero X (from 1 to 300) of all skills. Be sure to include the character's name at the end of the line.
- campaign.make_peace_with_every_faction - make peace with all hostile factions. The command will not work if the player has created a kingdom.
- campaign.declare_war [FACTION1] [FACTION2] - Two selected factions declare war on each other. Enter instead of [FRACTION 1, 2] the names of the main kingdoms without spaces.
- campaign.declare_peace [FACTION1] [FACTION2] - The two selected factions reconcile with each other.
- campaign.add_influence [X] – Gives X points of influence.
- campaign.add_horse [X] – adds X horses to inventory.
- campaign.boost_cohesion_of_all_armies - increase the cohesion of all armies.
- campaign.add_morale_to_party [X] – increase X morale of the main character’s squad.
- campaign.add_focus_points_to_hero [X] - add X points of focus to the hero.
There are a lot of commands in the game: try to experiment with the string and enter other options. It is worth noting that some break on certain versions of updates. For example, campaign.unlock_all_crafting_pieces, which unlocks all crafting items, stopped working on 1.6.0.
What to do if the game crashes
If an old build of the game is installed and there is a mod on the developer console, then Mount & Blade 2 may crash or not start at all. With the latest builds, the Developer Console conflicts even more often. Just update to the latest version of the game, turn off or remove the modification altogether and get direct access to the console. The version can be found in the launcher (see photo).
