Every tanker often misses with full mixing. This is due to desynchronization with the main World of Tanks server. The server processes all actions in the game, including shots, in a fraction of a second.
How the server works
In one battle, players perform thousands of actions. These are driving, turret rotation, flashes, ricochets, module hits, shots and breaking through weak spots on tanks. Each action is sent to the main server, and returned to the game with a certain result. The more simultaneous actions that occur in the game, the longer it takes the server to process them. This can be seen when a large number of vehicles are exposed at once or when playing with artillery, since the view from above simultaneously displays many elements. In such cases, FPS drops significantly and synchronization decreases. You should be aware that the quality of processing will depend on the location of the player. In Russia, the main server is located in Moscow, so the closer the computer is located, the faster the information will be processed.
Server scope
The above information directly applies to the server sight. To enable it, you need to check the corresponding box in the game settings.
When activated, the game will have 2 sights:
- custom;
- server.

A custom crosshair is a standard circle with a dot, with which the player aims at the target. This feature always works in sync with the player's actions, but due to data transfer to the main server, sometimes there are gaps in synchronization. An enabled server scope will always display 100% information. That is, when mixing, the tanker will always see the exact aiming of the sight. You should be aware that the included server sight will significantly reduce FPS indicators, since shots will be constantly monitored. You also need to be aware that when the server scope is enabled, due to the low frame rate, there will be delays and desynchronization of moving equipment. This means that even with an accurate sight, misses will occur.
Conclusion
A lot of players don't use the server crosshair because of its awkward smooth movement and the FPS drop. Some tankers, having familiarized themselves with it, always use it. The quality of the sight, largely depends on the power of the computer. If it is weak, then when the server sight is activated, the frame rate will drop to a critical level and it will be impossible to play. Even with an average FPS of 60, turning on synchronization can degrade performance by 2 times. This feature is available to all players, so everyone can try it out and decide if it's needed in the game.
