How to enable console in Crusader Kings 3

Indian Dynasty

If you play via Steam, to open the console you need to:

  1. Right-click on Crusader Kings 3 in your game library.
  2. In the drop-down menu, select the "Properties" item.
  3. On the "General" tab, click on "Launch Options".
  4. There you need to enter the code: -debug_mode in the text field and click OK.

By default, debug mode is disabled in Crusader Kings 3. To use cheats, you need to activate it.

If the game starts after Gamepass /Windows 10/ You need to open Notepad or another text editor. It creates a new file. It contains the line:

When using any amounts, if a specific number is not entered, 1000 used as a default value. The [amount] indicator itself can be either positive or negative. For example, this can be used to decrease a character's age or gold amount.

To edit a character
