In Genshin impact, 'A Day Carved From Rising Winds' artifact set is suitable for heroes playing on the field or from the "pocket." Two fragments offer a bonus to attack power, and four provide an additional buff to ATK and critical hit chance.
Only companions with the Mondstadt regional mechanic, which is unlocked through Witch's Homework, are able to use the second passive. Let's examine the set's features, the conditions for fully realizing the effect, and the suitable wielders among the heroes of Hexenzirkel.
Where to find 'A Day Carved From Rising Winds' artifacts in Genshin Impact
There are three ways to get the set:
- According original resin in the Moonchild's Treasures dungeon, Wavechaser Plain of Nod-Krai. Legendary fragments require difficulty IV: only epic fragments drop before that.
- В Artifact Converter - for Sanctifying ElixirOnly one element of your choice can be created per version, with editing of the primary stat and two stats of your choice.
- В Stygian Onslaught , during Disturbance Outbreak, you can choose 'A Day Carved From Rising Winds' as an additional reward for spending Resin. Available on Hard difficulty and above.
How the set works
'A Day Carved From Rising Winds' is a set for damage-dealing heroes who rely on ATK. Two artifacts will grant a bonus to the owner's attack power, while four will further increase ATK and provide a 20% bonus to critical chance.
To activate the set, two conditions must be met:
- Hit an enemy with any attack or damage-dealing ability at least once every 6 seconds;
- Complete Witch's Homework.
If the second condition is not met, the character will only receive an ATK bonus. The set can be equipped on any character from the Hexenzirkel faction who plays on the field or uses abilities from the pocket.
If Witch's Homework is completed, but there is no magical resonance in the team, Crit Rate bonus will still be received.
Set Bonuses
| 2 parts | Increases attack power by 18% |
| 4 parts | For 6 seconds, hitting an enemy with a normal attack, charged attack, elemental skill, or elemental burst creates the Blessing of Pastoral Winds effect: attack power increases by 25%. If the equipped character has already completed the Witch's Homework quest, Blessing of Pastoral Winds is upgraded to Resolve of Pastoral Winds: the critical hit chance of the equipped character who has completed the trial is additionally increased by 20%. This effect occurs even if the equipped character is not on the battlefield. |

Who is 'A Day Carved From Rising Winds' suitable for?
Thanks to its passive, the set is perfect for main and sub-DPS players with the Hexerei status, which relies on Attack, for whom the additional Critical Chance percentage makes stat balancing easier. The set works best with companions with long-lasting abilities: they make it easier to maintain the four-piece bonus.
Perfect candidates who receive all the benefits:
| Character | Features |

The set will help you get 2500 ATK for the "March of the Morning Wind" ability, and together with the signature claymore Gest of the Mighty Wolf The K/S stat can only be gained through sub-stats, focusing on finding the crown on K/U. |

The passive talent requires a large amount of ATK to function, which is easily obtained thanks to the set bonus. The dragon plays off his ultimate, which attacks enemies frequently enough to maintain a stable four-piece buff. |

The Princess of Condemnation's Servant deals damage with attacks and contributes significantly to the team's overall damage. Due to the lack of a native stat for Crit DMG or Crit Rate, balancing these stats is especially important, especially when using a bow without a critical strike substat. |

For the Knight Sparkle, this set is the best choice regardless of the team. If you're playing with a Hydro sub-DD, it's best to get Elemental mastery clock. |
![]() |
A young man from Wolfendom, after completing Witch's Homework, becomes an Electro main-DD and excels in Overloaded. This set is his top-tier and has no equal. |
![]() |
An excellent option for the main damage dealer role with active Hexerei, but for a support it is better to use Viridescent Venerer. |

With consts and the bonus from Homework, she's capable of playing as a hyper-carry, whose mechanics harmonize with the set's effects. If the Astrologer is needed for Hydro status from the pocket and supporting the main damage dealer through Omen, swapping out support sets like the Instructor for this one is not recommended. |
Without the crit chance bonus, the full set can be used by main damage dealers and some secondary damage dealers who rely on attack power. For example, harbinger Arlecchino or Sinner's disciple Skirk. It will give them a 43% ATK boost, but it won't be the best solution, so it's only worth taking temporarily, if you already have pieces with good stats.
What artifacts to combine the set with
The 2+2 option is chosen based on the needs of a specific hero, but is often considered a temporary solution. This is especially true for damage dealers with specialized mechanics, for whom the signature set bonus will provide more than just a pure stat boost. 'A Day Carved From Rising Winds' can be combined with sets that have the following two-piece stats:
- ER%: Emblem of Severed Fate, Silken Moon's Serenade;
- Elemental mastery: Wanderer's Troupe, Gilded Dreams, Flower of Paradise Lost, Night of the Sky's Unveiling, Moonlit Offering’s Opulent Dream;
- Ability Bonus: Noblesse Oblige, Marechaussee Hunter, Wanderer's Troupe, Long Night's Oath;
- Elemental damage: Blizzard Strayer, Viridescent Venerer, Crimson Witch of Flames, Pale Flame;
- ATK: Shimenawa's Reminiscence, Vermillion Hereafter, Gladiator’s Finale, Echoes of an Offering, Unfinished Reverie, Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy.

Is this set better for Klee or the Witch? Squad: Fischl, Chevreuse, Bennett
Honestly, I don't know. The new set is number one in the K-1 guide.
Is Fischl better off with a troupe or a new set? Who tested it?
If you're playing with Furina, it's a new set. If not, it's a troupe.
Thank you!
If Fischl Aquasimulacum has good crits, then there's probably no point in switching troupes for this? Maybe someone has already done the math.
Should I get a Durin set if I have him paired with Furina? Or should I keep the Hunter?
Damn, I think this is Durin's signature set. The passive about the buff from getting hit by anything is a passive tailored to his ultimate.
