The Ancient Fireshrine is the largest dungeon in the Foothills. Windrose, which contains eight chests and a brazier puzzle. Solving the puzzle is essential to unlocking the treasure room, but in the vertical structure with its many passages, it's easy to get lost or miss an important point of interest. This guide will show the location of each chest and the temple chalices, which must be lowered into the basement and placed on the pedestals.
Where to find all the chests in the Ancient Fireshrine in Windrose
The temple is located in the second biome, not far from the island where the "Needle in a Haystack" quest is completed. You can use interactive map, uploading your world files there.
The upper part of the dungeon is guarded by pirates, and on the lower floors you'll encounter undead. Be careful when moving: cracked tiles can break under your feet, forcing you to crawl back to the surface.
Chest 1
Facing the gate on the surface, walk along the right side to the bandit camp. Inside, you'll find the first chest, southeast of the marker.
Chest 2
Go around the wall behind the container and circle around to reach the second part of the camp. There's a reward crate hidden under the white tent.
Chest 3
Head towards the center of the dungeon, to the ruined tower. Cross the stone bridge to the building and examine the ruined wall on the left. Climb over it and examine the old skeleton, which often contains good weapons or armor.
Chest 4
You'll find a heavy vase on the right side of the main gate—drag it onto the nearby pressure plate. The mechanism will open a passage in the center with a fork where you need to turn leftAfter passing under the vines, you will come across an old skeleton lying on the ground.
Chest 5
Return to the heavy vase and destroy the thorny bushes in the tunnel to the right. Drag the heavy object onto the pressure plate at the end of the corridor to reveal a hidden area containing another treasure.
Chest 6
Return the vase to the pedestal on the right, go to the opposite side and activate another pressure plate.
Proceed through the main gate into a newly opened room with a temple chalice and a chest.
Chest 7
The seventh container is hidden behind a dilapidated wall. Climb to the surface and head toward the left vase. Under the overhang, examine the walls: one of them is destroyed and can be broken down with a pickaxe.
This will open a tunnel leading to the lower floors. Just around the bend, you'll find another dilapidated partition, behind which lies the treasure.
Chest 8
The final chest is hidden on the lower floor of the dungeon and contains Tumbaga Ingots. To collect the treasure, find the braziers in the temple, lower them down, and light them.
How to return the temple bowls to their place
You need to find three temple chalices. For the first, head to the surface, to the pressure plate to the right of the main gate. Pick up the brazier behind the mechanism and lower it to the lower floor by jumping through the broken floor. Place it on the pedestal and press "E."
Climb to the surface, place the vases on the two pressure plates in the center and open the room behind the main gate - it contains the bowl and the sixth chest.
On the surface, go into the central room and turn left to where the skeleton was. Descend the stairs to the middle floor and collect the final chalice. Once you place it on the pedestal, the gate to the treasury will open.
Solving the riddle in the Ancient Fire Sanctuary will reward you with Tumbaga Ingots—a material used to awaken weapons to epic levels. Blades and pistols Purple rank ones have unique passive effects and become much more effective.
