In Genshin impact, Yelan is a Hydro archer who takes the position of a secondary damage dealer, while also being a buffer due to the special effect of her ultimate. Her affix is universal, affects any damage dealt and does not depend on any stats of the active companion or the girl herself.
Due to HP scaling and the Hydro element, she works great in resonance with partners of the same element, mutually strengthening each other, but can also be the only Hydro character in the squad. However, the heroine cannot be called completely universal, since her attacks from the pocket only work if the active ally uses regular attacks.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Ye Lan will be a worthy secondary damage dealer for almost any group that needs a stable water status. Her main strengths include the small number of alternative heroes in the same role, good damage, and buffing ability, but it's also worth remembering
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| It has a very high personal figures, performs better than Xingqiu in most squads. Doesn't take up much time on the field, groups up opponents a bit, and is quite versatile. | Limited choice among epic weaponsFavonius is the top pick, but if he's unavailable, there are only a couple of options, barring situational ones. Signature damage, however, requires a lot of recovery or playing with a Hydro ally, and doesn't solve all of the heroine's problems. |
| Her scales from HP, so she benefits from playing with other heroes in Hydro Resonance. This brings significant benefits to some teams, such as a double Hydro with Hu Tao. | Works better than Xingqiu, but is not a critical replacement. If there is and Swordsman Xingqiuand Archon Furina, you can skip the girl. It's also important to keep in mind that she doesn't have a passive heal like Xingqiu, which could compromise your team's survivability if you're playing without a healer or shielder and want to make a substitution. |
| Easy to build. Requires only critical hits, HP, and energy regeneration. The best set, Emblems of Sundered Fate, is crafted in alchemy. | Can be considered as a water damage dealer in teams from Lunar reactions, but doesn't really give them anything other than her own damage. Her ultimate affix doesn't apply to their damage. It's not worth specifically picking her up for such groups. |
| Facilitates world exploration at the expense of its E-number. | Doesn't work with damage dealers charged strikes, ultimates or E-shek, since normal attacks must be used to activate the die shots. |
| Provides command buff, increasing the overall damage of the active ally. |
The Best Ye Lan Builds in Genshin Impact

The heroine is a secondary damage dealer who deals most of her damage through elemental burst and has HP scaling. To fully utilize the heroine, she needs to gain a good balance of crit. chance/crit. damage, ER and health.
Recommended Stats
There is no need for ATK, since her damage scales with HP. First of all, focus on restoring energy to provide her with an ult on cooldown, and then get HP and balance crits. There is no need for elemental mastery, even if you play with Pyro characters, since the heroine almost does not trigger reactions herself.
Characteristics that are recommended to be emphasized while building E Lan:

Recommended values:
- HP: 25-000 and more.
- energy recharge: 160% if you play with a Favonius bow and a Hydro ally, 200% if she is the only Hydro in the team and with a Favonius, 230-240% is needed when using the Aqua Simulacra signature weapon and no other Hydro in the team.
- Crit chance/crit damage: a ratio of 1:2 is required, for example, 70%/140%. Keep in mind that the girl already has an increased critical chance when ascended, and in artifacts and weapons, focus on Crit DMG.
Weapon Selection
Weapons should increase energy regeneration, HP, or provide critical hits. ATK or mastery gear is not recommended, but can be used if there are no alternatives, provided they have good passives. Bows can also be scaled to 3⭐️ due to their health scaling; their low base value won't affect their stats.
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 44 ~ 542 Critical Damage 19,2% ~ 88,2% |
Increases HP by 16%~32%. When there are enemies near the owner of the bow, their damage is increased by 20%~40%. The passive effect works even when the character is not on the battlefield. |
Yelan's Signature Weapon: Grants a lot of Crit DMG and increases HP, and provides a versatile affix in battle.
|
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 41 ~ 454 Energy recharge 13,3% ~ 61,3% |
Critical attacks have a 60-100% chance to create elemental particles that restore 6 energy, occur every 12-6 seconds. | Top 2 option after the signature. Gives a huge amount of energy recovery and additional balls for both the heroine and her allies. A must-have option if she is the only Hydro in the team, other squad members have expensive ultimates or have problems with the energy recovery stat. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 48 - 674 CRIT DMG: 9.6%-44.1% |
The wearer gains the effect of the Waving Morning Wind: 3 seconds after leaving combat, the damage of normal attacks, elemental skills, and elemental explosions is increased by 60-120%In combat, this effect is reduced by 10-20% every second until it reaches 0%. When a normal attack, E, or the wielder's ultimate hits an enemy, the damage increase effect of the corresponding type is increased by 10-20%, until it reaches 60-120%This effect can occur once every 0,1 seconds for each of the listed attack types and occurs even when the wearer is not on the battlefield. Additionally, when a squad has the Witchcraft: Arcane Rite effect active, and the wearer's normal attack, E-Shka, or ult hits an enemy, the damage bonus of all these types is increased by 20-40%. | Since the bonus is applied through a damage affix, the gear is suitable for the heroine with her HP scales. To fully utilize this, the squad must have two heroes from the Witchcraft faction. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 46 ~ 608 Energy recharge 12% ~ 55,1% |
Increases Elemental Mastery by 60-120 points. If the owner of the bow hits an enemy with an ult or elemental skill, gain one Sigil of Remembrance (occurs once every 0,2 seconds, even if the character is not on the battlefield). After collecting 4 sigils, they disappear and endow nearby team members for 12 seconds with the effect Millennial Movement: Farewell Song. Allies' Elemental Mastery is increased by 100-200, Attack Power - by 20-40%. Once activated, sigils will not spawn for another 20 seconds. The effect does not stack with similar ones. | The heroine easily activates her bow's passive by frequently using her skills, thereby buffing her squad. Additionally, the energy regeneration issue for her ultimate is solved. The best option for Lunar teams. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 46 - 608 Crit Rate: 7,2-33,1% |
Elemental Skill and Elemental burst damage is 12-24% higher. Each time a normal, charged, elemental or ultimate attack hits the target, 1 level of the Ashen Nightstar effect is accumulated. Charge duration - 12 seconds. When accumulating 1-4 levels, the character's attack power increases by 10(20)/20(40)/30(60)/48(96)% respectively. Charges exist independently of each other. | While a high base stat and the second part of the passive that increases the attack power stat are not necessary for an archer, thanks to this gear you will get a bonus to K/S and a 12% bonus to E-class and Elemental Burst. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 44 ~ 565 Energy recharge 6,7% ~ 30,6% |
The weapon has 3 states: Evengleam, Afterglow, and Dawnblaze, each of which increases damage dealt by 6%/10%/14% respectively. After hitting an enemy, the state changes to another one, no more than once every 7 seconds. The state change effect is triggered even when the character is not on the battlefield. | Grants a damage affix that gradually builds up with each hit of the ult, and energy regeneration. Could only be obtained in update 2.7. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 42 ~ 510 Elemental Mastery 36 ~ 165 |
Elemental Skills and elemental burst damage increased by 24-48%. | The passive will increase the damage of elemental skill and elemental burst, but the archer practically does not trigger reactions, which is why the sub-stat EM is useless for her. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 44 ~ 565 Energy recharge 6,7% ~ 30,6% |
Hitting with an elemental skill has a 40-80% chance to instantly restore its cooldown. Occurs no more than 1 time in 30-16 seconds. | Increases energy recovery and makes it possible to activate her E a second time. If C1 is present, it is useless. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 44 ~ 565 ATK 6% ~ 27,6% |
Elemental burst damage of the character equipped with this weapon is increased by 0,12% for each point of max. energy of each member of the squad. Damage bonus cannot exceed 40%. | At R4-R5, the weapon will give a big boost if you have allies with expensive ults, but in the sub-stats it has unnecessary ATK. It makes sense to use it at high awakening and if you have a lot of energy and HP restoration in your artifacts. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 38 ~ 354 HP: 10,2% ~ 46,9% |
Defeating an enemy restores 8-16% HP. | An alternative free option. Recommended when playing with other Hydro allies, a large amount of energy recovery in artifact stats and with a small health pool. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 38 ~ 354 Critical Damage Chance 6,8% ~ 31,2% |
If a basic Attack or Aimed Shot hits the target within 0.3 seconds of hitting, their damage is increased by 36-60%. Otherwise, it decreases by 10%. | You can take it at the beginning of the game. Since the heroine, although rarely, uses aimed shots, this is an acceptable option for her. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 39 ~ 401 Critical Damage 10,2% ~ 46,9% |
Increases damage dealt to weak points of enemies by 24-48%. | Likewise, it is recommended only as a transitional option. You can take it into battle against opponents with weak points, for example, the Guardian or the Ruin Serpent. |
To equip other heroes, use weapons tier list.
Artifact Rating
Artifacts for Yelan should be focused on increasing the damage of her ultimate or HP value. You can use 2+2 options with Hydro, but only at first, and not full sets, since all such sets in the game increase ATK, not health.
| Name | Description | The effect |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
2 parts: Increases energy recovery speed by 20%. 4 parts: Increases elemental explosion damage by 25% of the energy regeneration value. This effect can be increased to a maximum of 75%. |
The best artifact set, this is the one Ye Lan should build. It's head and shoulders above other full-set alternatives, giving the heroine all the most essential stats. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ |
2 Piece: Increases elemental burst damage by 20%. 4 Piece: Activating an elemental burst increases the attack power of all party members by 20% for 12 seconds. The effect does not stack. |
An acceptable option when playing with allies who scale with ATK, if the team does not have a support with such a set. But the heroine's personal damage will noticeably decrease. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ |
2 parts: Increases HP by 20% 4 parts: Increases elemental skill and elemental explosion damage by 10%. When the carrier takes damage, even outside the battlefield, the bonus is increased by 80%. The effect stacks up to 5 times and lasts 5 seconds. Each stack has its own countdown time. |
The full set does not work as intended, since the girl does not receive damage while in the pocket. However, the increase in HP and boosting elemental burst will increase her personal damage. You can take it if you do not have the Emblem set yet, and these artifacts are already leveled up to +20 and have good stats. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ |
2 parts: Increases energy recharge rate by 20%. 4 parts: Using an elemental burst restores 2 energy to the rest of the squad (but not the selected character) every 2 sec. for 6 sec. The effect cannot stack. |
A first-time option for a beginner |
Teams

The girl can play as a sub-DD in almost any squad where the main-DD constantly uses normal attacks. Due to the fact that her abilities scale with HP, she shows herself well with Hydro Resonance and characters who also need health for damage or healing.
Her mechanics don't allow for finishing reactions, so she's best used in teams where another character completes elemental reactions. She can easily provide a stable Hydro status for, for example, the main Pyro damage dealer and a Steam reaction, but she herself can only deal an E-type hit to an enemy with a Fire status. Her affix, which accumulates during her ultimate, is universal and works on all heroes except Lunar ones.
Choice of allies
Best heroes for squads:
| Character | Element | Weapon | Effects |
|---|---|---|---|
Hydro | ![]() One-handed sword | She deals damage based on max HP, so Hydro Resonance benefits her. She buffs with Elemental Burst. | |
Skirk | Cryo | One-handed sword | Her playstyle involves constantly using normal attacks and playing through two resonances, Cryo and Hydro, so the heroines combine well with each other. |
Escoffier | Cryo | Polearm | If all party members are Water or Ice-elemental, this will reduce enemy resistance. Essential for Freeze. |
Citlali | Cryo | Catalyst: | Citlali's resistance cut opens the way for her to join the Vaporize reaction teams or mono-Hydro squads. |
Lohen | Cryo | Polearm | She fights using infused attacks and special skills. She requires strong and frequently attacking sub-dps to achieve enhanced ability buffs. She's one of the best allies in a Freeze party. |
Mavuika | Pyro | Claymore | While Mavuika's most damage comes from her charged attacks, the Pyro Archon still uses her normal attacks in her rotation to trigger her ultimate. |
Hu Tao | Pyro | Polearm | Pairs well with Ye Lan, especially if the team has a closed Water Resonance due to another Water Resonance partner, as it benefits from the HP increase. |
Pyro | Polearm | Due to Bond of Life, adds Pyro Infusion to her attacks. Most of the damage comes from normal attacks, so she works well with the mechanics of the ult. | |
Nicole | Pyro | Catalyst: | A strong support hero who shields allies and buffs their attack power. Can be used alongside a Witch or Pyro damage dealer for resonance. |
Kazuha | Anemo | One-handed sword | For Dispersion, distribution of affixes to the elemental and grouping of enemies. |
Lauma | Dendro | Catalyst: | Excellent Dendro sub-dd for creating Budding reactions and subsequent Vegetation. |
Raiden | Electro | Polearm | Due to the ability to restore energy for the ultimates of allies, she plays well with an archer, allowing her to be less careful in choosing artifacts and/or take critical bows. |
Clorinde | Electro | One-handed sword | The heroine depends on elemental reactions, so she goes well with sub-DD of other elements. |
Zhongli | Geo | Polearm | Grants a shield and reduces enemy elemental resistance. |
Xilonen | Geo | One-handed sword | Reduces resistances due to built-in debuffs and set, provides healing. |
Squad options
Due to her versatility, commands for Yelan can be very different. The only condition is that the main DD in his rotation must use regular attacks, and not charged ones or their E or ult. Otherwise, her elemental burst simply will not work.
Groups through the reaction of Pairs
At the head of such combinations is Pyro main-dd, occasionally sub-dd.
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Mavuika Yoimiya Arlecchino | Yelan | Bennett | Zhongli Xilonen Citlali | Evaporation and Pyro Resonance for a 25% ATK buff, plus Bennett for additional buffs and healing. Zhongli provides a strong shield and reduces enemy elemental resistance. Shilonen can be used instead, especially if you're playing with Mavuika or Sitlali. |
Hu Tao Arlecchino | Yelan | Xingqiu | Zhongli | This group, which fully utilizes the Archer's C4, works best with Hu Tao, as she will benefit from Hydro Resonance, but Harlequin can also be used. It's important to equip Zhongli in the set. Archaic Petra. |
Yanfei Klee | Yelan | Kazuha Sucrose | Bennett Nicole | A variant with Pyro Catalyst and Flame Resonance's closing. It's better to paint the support's Anemo ult with Hydro, as Klee and Yanfei have a lot of their own status. |
Raiden | Yelan | Xiangling | Bennett Nicole | A "national" variant, ideal for using the heroine with signature weapons or other equipment without an energy stat. It allows for a reduction in HE% to 160%. |
Dendro compositions
Such commands include regular and Lunar Budding, Vegetation and Flowering.
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Yelan | Shinobu Fischl | Nahida Lauma Baizhu | Vegetation's best squad. Ideally, you'll want Kuki; she's the best at detonating cores and also fills the healer slot. If you take her, give preference to Nahida or Lauma; they're equally matched in this group. However, if you add Fischl, you'll need Bai Zhu or an epic Dendro-element healer (Yao Yao, Kirara). | |
Nahida | Yelan | Shinobu | Lauma | A costly team with three Vegetation legendaries, currently considered one of the strongest. However, it's worth noting that the ultimate's buff to core explosion damage doesn't apply, so the archer's primary benefit here lies in her personal damage and stable status. |
Nahida Lauma | Yelan | Shinobu | Baizhu Kirara | An alternative to the group above. Suitable if you only have Nahida or Lauma. Bai Zhu can be replaced with any support of the same element. |
Nilou | Yelan | Nahida Lauma | Baizhu Kokomi | A group of pure Budding with Nil. Any healer can be used for the last slot, as long as they belong to one of these two elements. |
Ayato Tartaglia Kokomi | Yelan | Nahida Lauma | Thoma | A variant for Blossom. Toma goes into Elemental Mastery and pops Dendro Cores with Fire Ticks from her ultimate. It's important to play carefully; if you're struggling, replace your main damage dealer with a Kokomi driver and use it to attack from the right. |
Squads through Charged and Lunar Charge
Everything is built around a Hydro + Electro combination with any resonance and the addition of supports, mainly Geo or Anemo.
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Raiden Clorinde | Yelan | Fischl Yae Miko Furina | Zhongli Xilonen Jean | In this group, either an Electro or Hydro damage dealer can be placed in the third slot, depending on the available companions and resonance preferences. A support character should not only help survive tough fights but also provide indirect benefits, such as reducing resistances. |
Yelan | Ineffa | Zhongli Xilonen Jean | Although Ye Lan isn't as useful for Moonburst groups due to the specific damage calculation formula, which isn't boosted by her ultimate buff, she can still perform well in this composition when using Aino. Replacing the mechanic with Ineffa will reduce her utility, but the group's overall damage output will increase. | |
Yelan | Fischl | Beidou | Sucrose Sayu | A F2P variant with three epic heroes. With careful play, Beidou's shield should be enough, but if you're having trouble, you can replace Sucrose with Saya. |
Groups from Freeze
If you want to fully play in this style, we recommend pulling out Chef Escoffier, but even in its absence, alternative options can be constructed.
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Skirk Ayaka Wriothesley | Yelan | Furina Shenhe | Escoffier | The Escoffier option. The strongest option is with Furina. If you can't add her to this lineup, any water-based sub-DD or buffer will do, or an ally with the same role but an ice-based one. |
Ayaka Wriothesley Lohen | Yelan | Kazuha | Kokomi Charlotte | You can take Kazuha instead of Escoffier. Then you'll need to dedicate one of your slots to a healer to get the healing. Replacing Kazuha with another Anemo character isn't possible, as he provides too much. |
Wriothesley Lohen | Yelan | Furina Xingqiu | Jean Xilonen | If you combine an archer with Furina, who are one of the strongest combos in the game, you can use a healer with resistance-shredding abilities in the last slot. Shilonen's Geo attacks can destroy statues, but this isn't critical in most cases. Xingqiu is significantly weaker than Archon, but if all other companions are well-developed, you can complete the content with him. |
"Flush" and Anemo damage dealers
These teams include a group of three Hydro characters and a battle lineup with a Wind-element main DD.
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Varka | Venti Sucrose Faruzan | Yelan | Mona | You can put any Anemo hero in the second slot, because Witchcraft In any case, it's closed by Mona. It's better to equip the astrologer girl Prototype Amber, since none of the squad members have the healing skill. |
Yelan | Xingqiu | Furina | Jean Xilonen Zhongli | A "flushing" group. Furina's presence is crucial here; without her, the damage loss is too significant. It's best to choose Ye Lan as the active character, so that her quick shots from the right hand trigger her Elemental Burst. Zhongli or Sitlali are acceptable for the last spot, but they offer less utility due to their lack of healing and, consequently, the inability to stack all Fanfare stacks. |
Wanderer | Yelan | Faruzan | Bennett | The Wanderer will benefit from both the passive damage and the boost from the Archer's ultimate. In this group, it's best to equip Ye Lan Favonius to provide the group with energy. |
Extra Stats For Leveling
The character's main stat is crit chance, which increases as the heroine ascends. Along with this, she gets increases in HP, attack power и defenseLeveling up to 90 is essential, as her health will receive a significant boost.
However, to reach lvl 95 or 100 with the help of Wandering fortune We don't recommend it, since it's better to invest such a valuable resource into a primary rather than a secondary damage dealer, although these levels will still bring tangible benefits.
| Level | Base HP | Basic attack | Base DEF | Base CRIT Rate | CRIT Rate bonus for Ascension |
| 1 | 1125 | 18 | 42 | 5% | 0% |

Skills

Yelan is a secondary damage dealer who deals Hydro damage from off-field via her Ultimate, passively buffs her allies with it, and has fast movement with her E. She is indispensable in teams that require a sub-DD with a stable status, such as when playing through Frozen or Vaporize. Thanks to her HP scaling, she gets a lot of use out of Hydro Resonance.
Basic (Active) Skills
All the nuances of the archer's abilities, their duration and recharge.
Stealthy Bowshot
Fires up to four bow shots.
Charged Shot deals increased Hydro damage.
If the heroine is not on the battlefield for 5 seconds, she automatically enters the Breakthroughstate, which reduces the aiming time for the next shot by 80 %. After charging, attacks with a Breakthrough Barb, which hits in an area with damage that depends on maximum health.
The Breakthrough indicator is the bracelet on your right hand - when it starts to glow, it means that you can use a special charged shot.
Lingering Lifeline
- Duration: 3 sec.
- Cooldown: 10 sec.
- Сharges: 1 on C0, 2 on C1.
Moves quickly and entangles all enemies in her path with a Lifeline. At the end, the Lifeline explodes and deals Hydro damage to marked enemies based on Max HP.
With a tap, Moves forward a short distance.
While holding, advances with lightning speed and can set the direction of running. Re-casting the ability cancels the effect. When exploding, each enemy marked with a Lifeline grants a 34% chance to gain Breakthrough.
Depth-Clarion Dice
- Duration: 15 sec.
- Cooldown: 18 sec.
- Cost: 70 energy.
Surrounding enemies take Hydro damage, and an Exquisite Throw, which follows the current character and attacks together with them. The damage depends on max HP:
- Occurs once per second when the active character attacks.
- Activated after Yelan's Lifeline explodes and hits enemies.
Passive Skills
The girl's special skills are aimed at strengthening herself and her allies, and also provide a small benefit to the account.
Turn Control
If there are 1/2/3/4 element types in the squad, max. Yelan's HP increases by 6%/12%/18%/30% respectively.
Adapt With Ease
While Exquisite Throw is active, the damage dealt by your active character is increased by 1% and continues to increase by 3.5% every second. The maximum increase in damage dealt is 50%.
While the effect is in effect, activating Depth-Clarion Dice again will interrupt it.
Necessary Calculation
Increases the reward of expeditions to Liyue lasting 25 hours by 20%.
Talent Leveling Order
Priority: Q (elemental burst) > E (elemental skill) > Normal attacks.
The girl is a low-maintenance companion. She only needs to develop two abilities, focusing on one:
- First of all, level the ultimate, as it is the main source of damage and buff. It is advisable to use a crown for it, bringing it to level 10.
- Then increase the elemental skill levels to 8. If you have C1, you can level it up to 9 or crown it, but at C0 it is more profitable to leave it at level 8.
- Stick with normal attacks unless you're using Aimed Shot. If you do, it's worth leveling it up to level 8.
Constellations
| 1. Playing with scammers [+15%] | Increases the amount of charges for the Lingering Lifeline skill by 1. |
| 2. We accept everyone [+42%] | When Exquisite Throw performs a combined attack, it fires an additional Water Arrow that deals Hydro Damage equal to 14% Max HP of Yelan. The effect can occur once every 1,8 sec. |
| 3. Beware of scammers [+59%] | Increases the level of the Depth-Clarion Dice skill by 3. Max. level: 15 |
| 4. Bait and Switch [+83%] | After a Lifeline explosion for 25 sec. increases max. HP of all squad members by 10% for each enemy marked by it. Maximum HP increase is 40%. |
| 5. Dealer's Dexterity [+87%] | Increases the level of the Lingering Lifeline skill by 3. Max. level: 15 |
| 6. Winner Takes All [+107%] | After using the Depth-Clarion Dice skill, Yelan will enter the Mastermind state. In this state, all of Yelan's normal attacks become special Breakthrough Barbs. These barbs have similar characteristics to normal Breakthrough Barbs, the damage they deal is considered as a charged attack damage and is 156% of the normal Breakthrough Barms' damage. The Mastermind state disappears after 20 seconds or after 5 arrows are fired. |
Best constellations of Yelan are С1, С2, С4 и C6:
- The first constellation Provides an additional charge to the E-class, reducing the required minimum energy regeneration stat by 15%. Useful for those with a signature and those who haven't reached this stat with artifacts but don't want to waste time farming an improved build.
- The second constellation Adds an extra hit to the ultimate, directly increasing the damage output. A great buff if the heroine's gear has reached its peak.
- The fourth Konsta works especially well in lineups with allies with HP scales. Even without them, she herself will receive the bonus, as the buff condition includes her. However, it can only be activated in battles against crowds of enemies, and this constellation has little use in boss content.
- The sixth constellation Transforms the Spy from a sub-DD into a full-fledged primary damage dealer. Despite the huge boost, this level isn't worth unlocking unless you plan on playing as the heroine on the field.
How to play Yelan

The girl deals most of her damage while not on the battlefield. She uses her elemental skill to group up enemies a bit and move around the battlefield quickly, then activates her ultimate. Although she can perform a precision shot after every 5 seconds of being off the field, it is an optional part of her rotation. Not doing it will not affect her effectiveness, the main thing is to activate the elemental skill and elemental burst.
Rotation
Order of Actions: E (elemental skill) > Q (elemental burst) > buffs and support abilities > main DD.
Since the heroine acts as a secondary damage dealer and almost never uses normal or charged shots, she has a fairly simple rotation.
- Let the girl out on the battlefield before support skills are activated. This is important, since the buff of her ult is gradually gained, and it is important that by the time of using the main DD, her elemental burst has already gained the maximum possible stacks. If desired, you can make a charged shot at the enemy if the heroine has been in the pocket for more than 5 seconds.
- Activate her E and Elemental Burst right after that to send the balls flying into the empty Ultimate bar. If you have C1, use the second charge of the skill after pressing the Ultimate.
- Switch to supports and activate all their necessary abilities.
- Enter the field as the main damage dealer and hit until the ult is active. Then repeat the cycle.
Is the Character Worth Pulling For?

Ye Lan is a good Hydro applicator and burster, who can fill the role of secondary damage dealer for the second or third squad in Genshin Impact. Thanks to her constant Hydro and ultimate buff, she's an excellent companion for setting records and playing through reactions, and the requirement to land normal attacks for the active character isn't critical, as most main damage dealers can handle it.
Although she's lost some ground in the new Lunar Reactions meta, she still has a place in almost every other lineup. Given the increasing difficulty of battle modes and the increased number of companions required per account, she'll be one of the most profitable heroes to pick up among the "old" heroes.
Which is better: Signature or C1?
The choice between the first constellation and the signature is best made based on the state of your account:
- If a girl is playing with Hydro allies, in Resonance or "Flush," it's best to choose a signature. It will significantly increase her personal stats, and energy issues can easily be resolved by giving someone Favonium or slightly changing her artifacts.
- Take C1 if you can't get enough ER and have problems activating your ult on cooldown. The first constellation is needed not to increase damage, but to reduce energy recovery requirements.

What squads can she choose if she is going to be a main DD?
DeLuke, Xingqiu, Ye Lan, Qiqi, or should I use Mona or DeHyu as my main DD instead of DeLuke? Any advice? I've only been playing for a short time.
What's the best squad for E Lan? I've got the spins, but I don't know who to spin for her. It doesn't matter what characters, as long as they don't have a Furina.🙏🏻
A very strong Skirk/Escoffier/Mona or Shen He/Ye Lan. She's still good with Nahida and Lauma, but keep in mind that her buff doesn't work with Lunar Budding, but she can still boost the team's overall damage and provide value through her own damage and status.
What set should I give her for a DD build? And what weapons (preferably 4*)?
I want to see how she will be as a DD
Well, that's about it. Everything is physical, but, for example, everything is variable: Deluc takes out the last stack with physical, deals an E-kick, and a combo ensues. There are no variations here. I may be a noob, but I expressed my opinion.
