FromSoftware added a lot of new mechanics to their new project, one of which was the two-handed grip in Elden Ring. Because of this, a significant number of keys have changed their purpose. To the great regret of the players, the developers did not add tips for using a two-handed grip. The guide explains how to dual-wield weapons in Elden Ring on consoles and PC.
How to dual-wield in Elden Ring (two-handed)
To capture any weapon in both hands, be it a sword, bow, shield, ax, katana, and so on, you must hold the button "E" (action) and click on right or left mouse buttonto select a specific weapon. If you have an Extinguished Katana in your right hand, you must press the right mouse button to grab this weapon.
On consoles, you'll need to hold □ on PlayStation and Y on the XBOX, then press the top triggers on the controller to select a weapon (R1 or L1).
A two-handed grip should be used in moments when there is no particular danger and the use of a shield is definitely not useful. If the main style of play is precisely in dodging, then fighting with two hands is the best way.
