![Faruzan in Genshin Impact [best build]](https://wotpack.ru/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/word-image-182030-1-800x501.jpeg)
In Genshin impact Faruzan is an Epic Anemo archer and part-time scholar from the Haravatat Darshan in Sumeru. All her skills, including the unique buff, scale with the basic attack stat, while her ult is quite expensive, so it is important to carefully select the characteristics.
Playing the scientist is somewhat complicated by a specific rotation, including the use of charged shots. The heroine is planned to be a support for Anemo squads and, depending on the unlocked consts, can reduce resistance, boost critical damage of this element and pull enemies.

Follow the character release schedule in our banner schedule.
Strengths and Weaknesses

Given the specifics and mechanics of skills, constellations and talents, we can draw general conclusions about her strengths and weaknesses. Among the key advantages of the heroine are:
- A great support buffer for any Anemo dd.
- Reduces Anemo resistance of enemies by 30% and grants bonus Anemo damage with her ult - 18% at level 1 and 32.4% at level 10.
- Can pull enemies with an elemental skill and deal damage to an area. The ability has a quick cooldown of 6 seconds.
- The Lost Wisdom of the Seven Caverns passive talent reduces the charge time of the aimed shot, which allows you to create a vortex during the elemental skill. At the same time, hitting enemies with this vortex reduces their resistance to Anemo, even without an active ult.
- The Lost Wisdom of the Seven Caverns passive talent increases damage dealt to enemies based on ATK when the active character is under the effect of an elemental damage buff.
- There's an option to build Faruzan into a damage dealer using her own buffs.
Disadvantages:
- Her elemental burst costs 80 energy, which is quite a lot, and it also has a long cooldown of 20 seconds. At the same time, the ult is the main skill of support and strength of the heroine.
- The buffs do not work for characters of elements other than Anemo, which limits the composition of squads where she can effectively be a support.
- Has a low base attack, which makes it difficult to build her as a damage dealer using normal attacks.
- Low own defense and health stats require healers or shielders to be on the team if she is often on the battlefield.
Best Faruzan Builds in Genshin Impact

The teacher of the academy is a powerful Anemo buffer, however, she can also use her skills to increase her own damage, as the bonuses apply to any character that deals damage with this element. Most often plays the role of a the support role, since in this case it is much easier for her to play well. However, in the guide we will consider two variations of the Faruzan build.
Recommended Stats
Below are the artifact stats and optimal final stat values for each build.
Support buffer
If the archer is used to strengthen the main character, the most important thing for her is to gain as much energy recharge as possible to activate the ult on cooldown. The rest of the stats affect only her personal damage. Crits and ATK are desirable if you want the archer to also deal damage. Elemental Mastery is gained if it is necessary to increase the power of Swirl for other elements.
Stats that are recommended to look for in artifacts:
| Artifact | Main characteristic | Additional stats |
|---|---|---|
Flower of Life | HP (fixed) | Energy Recharge % ATK Power % Crit / Critical Hit Chance Elemental Mastery |
Plume of Death | ATK Power (Constant) | Energy Recharge % ATK Power % Crit / Critical Hit Chance Elemental Mastery |
Sands of Eon | Energy Recharge % | ATK Power % CRIT Crit Rate Elemental Mastery |
Goblet of Eonothem | Bonus Anemo Damage % | Energy Recharge % ATK Power % Crit Rate CRIT |
Circlet of Logos | Crit / Critical Hit Chance | Energy Recharge % Crit / Critical Hit Chance ATK Power % Elemental Mastery |
Optimal stat values:
- Energy recharge: 220% and more.
- Attack power: 1500 and more.
- Crit chance and crit.: ratio 1:2 (50 rate and 100 dmg).
- Elemental Mastery (when playing with Swirl): about 250-300.
Sub/Main DD
In this case, the ATK and crit are as effective as energy recharge. They need to be kept in balance to achieve maximum impact, since energy should not be neglected anyway. The ult is still a powerful buff that is important for the heroine herself if she also deals damage.
Stats that are recommended to look for in artifacts:
| Artifact | Main characteristic | Additional stats |
|---|---|---|
Flower of Life | HP (fixed) | CRIT Crit Rate ATK Power% Energy Recovery % / Elemental Mastery |
Plume of Death | ATK Power (Constant) | CRIT Crit Rate Energy Recharge % ATK Power % / Elemental Mastery |
Sands of Eon | ATK Power % Energy Recharge % | Energy Recovery % / ATK Power % CRIT Crit Rate Elemental Mastery |
Goblet of Eonothem | Bonus Anemo Damage % | CRIT Crit Rate ATK Power % Energy Recharge % |
Circlet of Logos | Crit / Critical Hit Chance | Crit / Critical Hit Chance Energy Recharge % ATK Power % Elemental Mastery |
Optimal stat values:
- Attack power: 1900-2000 and more.
- Crit chance and crit.: ratio 1:2 (60 rate and 120 dmg).
- Energy recharge: 200% and more.
- Elemental Mastery (when playing with Swirl): about 250-300.
Useful weapon
The weapon must have the following characteristics depending on her role:
- Support – energy recovery, buffs for the team.
- DPS – attack power, crit rate or chance, energy recovery.
Note that high Basic ATK will not be out of place in both cases, since the strength of the passive talent buff depends on it.

Support
For support bows, it is recommended to use the weapons presented in the table below.
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
Fading Twilight (F2P)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 44 ~ 565 Energy recharge: 6,7% ~ 30,6% | The weapon has three states that increase the damage dealt: Evengleam - 6%~12%; Afterglow - 10%~20%; Dawnblaze - 14%~28%. The effect switches after hitting an enemy with any attack, even if the equipped character is out of the battlefield. You can change the state once every 7 seconds. | Event bow (could be obtained in patch 2.7). Good base, ER in the main stat and increase in damage dealt, while the heroine does not have to be active. An excellent weapon for both support due to the characteristics, and for an off-field support DD due to the bonus to the impact force. |
Elegy for the End⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 46 ~ 608 Energy recharge: 12% ~ 55,1% | Increases Elemental Mastery by 60-120. If the bow owner hits an enemy with an ult or elemental skill, they receive one Sigil of Remembrance (occurs once every 0,2 sec, even if the character is not on the battlefield). After collecting 4 Sigil, they disappear and grant the nearby team members the effect of Millennial Movement: Farewell Song for 12 sec. Increases the Elemental Mastery of allies by 100-200, ATK power - by 20-40%. After activation, the Sigils will not appear for another 20 sec. The effect does not stack with similar ones. | Best option for support position: - high base attack for the buff from the Lost Wisdom of the Seven Caverns passive talent; - a large percentage of energy recovery will allow you to activate elemental burst more often; - passive effect has additional buffs for the squad. |
The Viridescent Hunt⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 42 ~ 510 Crit Rate: 6% ~ 27,6% | A normal or charged shot has a 50% chance to create a cyclone that pulls in enemies and deals 40-80% damage over 0,5 seconds. The wind holds targets for 4 seconds. The effect can activate once every 14-10 seconds. | The Battle Pass Bow helps create additional control when using an elemental skill, as the archer needs to make a well-aimed shot to call down the hurricane arrow. |
End of the Line (F2P)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 44 ~ 510 Energy recharge: 17.7% ~ 45.9% | Activating an elemental skill causes the Flowrider effect: hits deal area damage equal to 80% of ATK power. The effect will disappear after 15 sec or after 3 hits. The effect deals damage no more than once every 2 sec and can occur once every 12 sec. | This weapons can be picked up for free while fishing in Sumeru. A good F2P bow with basic stats that suit an archer. While the passive doesn't provide any support benefits, the weapon's stats help provide the cooldown ult. |
Favonius Warbow⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 41 ~ 454 Energy recharge: 13,3% ~ 61,3% | Critical hits have a 60-100% chance to create elemental particles that restore 6 energy, occurring every 12-6 seconds. | Basic attack is low, but this is offset by a higher percentage of energy regeneration and the ability to recharge allies. It is recommended to have at least 50% Crit Chance in your stats for the passive effect to work. |
Sacrificial Bow⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 44 ~ 565 Energy recharge: 6,7% ~ 30,6% | Hitting with an elemental skill has a 40-80% chance to instantly restore its cooldown. Occurs no more than 1 time in 30-16 seconds. | The bow has a good base ATK, energy recovery and at the same time allows you to activate the elemental skill twice, which gives even more control and energy particles. |
Sub/Main DD
The following bows are suitable for dealing damage:
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
Polar Star⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 46 ~ 608 Crit Rate: 7,2% ~ 33,1% | Elemental Skill and elemental burst damage is 12-24% higher. Each time you hit a target with a normal or charged attack, elemental skill and elemental burst, 1 level of the Ashen Nightstar effect is accumulated. Charge duration - 12 seconds. When accumulating 1-4 levels, the character's attack power increases by 10% -48% (per 1 awakening), respectively. Charges exist independently of each other. | An optimally balanced bow for damage, the stacks of which are quite easy to get. It also gives a bonus to elemental hits and has a crit chance in the main stat, which simplifies the balance of characteristics. |
Astral Vulture's Crimson Plumage⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Normal attack: 46-608 CRIT DMG: 14.4%-66.2% | Increases ATK power by 24%-48% for 12 sec after activating the Swirl reaction. If the party contains 1/2 or more characters with other elements, the power of the wearer's charged techniques increases 20%-40%/48%-96%, and their ult damage by 10%-20%/24%-48%. | The weapon will significantly increase charged shots, which make up most of the hero's damage in rotation. However, she will not be able to receive the attack power buff in all squads, and it will not affect the strength of her own buff, since only the base stat is considered. |
Skyward Harp⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 48 ~ 674 Crit chance: 4,8% ~ 22,1% | Increases crit. damage by 20-40%. When hitting an enemy, there is a 60-100% chance to inflict 125% physical damage. damage in a small area. The effect occurs every 4-2 seconds. | The highest base attack among bows will perfectly complement the passive talent for the bonus of the striking power, depending on the base. ATK. At the same time, the crit chance and crit. damage in the stats simplify the selection of artifacts. |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 46 ~ 608 Critical Damage: 14.4% ~ 66.2% | Increases the damage of a charged strike by 16 %. Provides 1 level of Gimmick for each character of the same element in the squad as the equipped character (including the equipped character). For each character in a squad with a different element, grants 1 level of Theatrics. When the character has 1/2/3 and more levels of Gimmick, attack power is increased by 16% / 32% / 48%. If they have 1/2/3 and more levels of Theatrics , their movement speed is increased by 4% / 7% / 10%. | Has high base ATK and crit damage, which will make stat balancing easier. A good option for both builds, but will show itself better in a hybrid or damage build. |
Aqua Simulacra⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 44 ~ 542 Critical Damage: 19,2% ~ 88,2% | Increases HP by 16%-32%. When there are enemies near the owner of the bow, their damage is increased by 20%-40%. The passive effect works even when the character is not on the battlefield. | An excellent bow with a high crit rate and a bonus to damage dealt. At the same time, it does not require you to be constantly on the battlefield, which allows you to play as both a primary and secondary DD. |
Mouun's Moon⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 44 ~ 565 ATK: 6% ~ 27,6% | The damage of the elemental burst of the character equipped with this weapon is increased by 0,12%-0,2 for each point of the sum for max. energy of each party member. The damage bonus cannot exceed 40%. | Strengthens the ultimate depending on the overall energy recovery rate in the team. At the same time, the archer herself has an expensive elemental burst, and her skills scale with ATK strength, so the bow will suit her well. It is also recommended to put characters with an expensive ultimate costing 80 or 90 energy in the team. |
The Stringless⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 42 ~ 510 Elemental Mastery: 36 ~ 165 | Elemental Skills and elemental burst damage increased by 24-48%. | The passive effect is convenient because it always works and is stable, increasing damage from abilities. However, it is worth putting it only if you manage to gain more than 220% ER without a weapon and the heroine plays in the support-dd position through Swirl. |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 42 ~ 510 ATK: 9 ~ 41,3% | Damage after being healed is increased by 16-32% for 8 sec. The effect works even when the character is not on the battlefield. | Crafted weapon with a stable increase in ATK power, but not the highest base. Passive ability additionally increases damage, and it is not difficult to activate when playing with a healer in the team. |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 44 ~ 565 ATK: 6% ~ 27,6% | When a charged attack hits a target, increases Elemental Mastery by 40/50/60/70/80 for 6 sec. This effect can stack up to 2 times and occurs every 0,5 sec. | A bow from patch 3.7. Great for high base ATK, which will give the biggest buff. In teams with the Swirl reaction, it will also give a damage boost. |
Alley Hunter⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 44 ~ 565 ATK: 6% ~ 27,6% | Increases the damage of the equipped character by 2-4% per second if he is not on the battlefield. The maximum amount of damage inflicted can reach 20-40%. If the character appears on the battlefield, the accumulated bonus will begin to decrease by 4-8% per second until it reaches 0%. | Situational option that can be used to get a higher buff from the passive talent, as it is an epic bow with the highest base ATK. In addition, it makes sense to put it in the role of a support DD and if you have a high percentage of energy recovery (at least 220%). |
Prototype Crescent (F2P)⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Normal attack: 42-506 ATK: 9%-41,3% | Aiming a hit on an enemy's weak spot grants +10% movement speed and 36-72% ATK power for 10 seconds. | A free craftable bow. Can be used as a transition or alternative option for striking when using charged shots. In addition, the weapon has a high base attack, which affects the damage of the scientist's abilities. |
Effective artifacts
Artifacts for Faruzan are selected depending on what role she occupies in the squad:
- For support and sup-dd, bonuses for the team are important and also energy recharge.
- For dealing damage you will need bonus to elemental damage and skill damage, and also restoration of energy.
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
Noblesse Oblige⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 Piece: Elemental burst Damage Bonus 20%. 4 Piece: The attack power of all party members is increased by 20% for 12 seconds. after activating an elemental burst by a character equipped with this set. The set effect does not stack. | The set will increase the power of the ult and allow you to buff your allies' attack after activating it. A universal set for almost any support. |
Emblem of Severed Fate⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 Piece: Energy recovery +20% 4 Piece: Increases elemental burst damage by an amount equal to 25% of ER. Max bonus is 75%. | Considering the hero's expensive ult, the set is great both in 2 parts and in a full set. In addition, depending on the energy recovery value, it will increase the damage from this skill. An excellent set for both the support role with passive damage and the main DD. |
Viridescent Venerer⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 Piece: Anemo damage bonus 15%. 4 Piece: Swirl status damage is increased by 60%. Reduces enemy's elemental resistance by 10% for 40 sec. when Swirl interacts with another element. | If the hero is built into EM and plays from interaction with other elements, she can be given this set. However, if the heroine is exclusively a support for an Anemo damager and there are no strong elemental sub-DDs in the team, this set is not worth choosing. |
| Viridescent Venerer / Emblem of Severed Fate / Gladiator’s Finale ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 Piece: +15 Anemo damage. 2 parts: +18% attack power. 2 Piece: +20% energy recovery. | Alternatively, you can put 2 parts from different sets, including sets for +18% attack power (for dealing damage with abilities). |
Gambler⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 Piece: Increases the damage of elemental skills by 20%. 4 Piece: Defeating an opponent has a 100% chance to restore the cooldown of an elemental skill. Can occur once every 15 seconds. | Not a bad set to start the game, since the archer uses elemental abilities, and the cooldown of the E will be useful to her. |
The Exile⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | 2 Piece: Increases energy recovery rate by 20%. 4 Piece: Using an elemental burst restores 2 energy to the rest of the squad (not the selected character) every 2 sec. within 6 sec. The effect cannot stack. | Alternative starter set, more for the support role. It allows you to ult more often and at the same time restore energy to allies. |
Teams
Despite her Anemo element, the scientist doesn't have many characters that she can directly team up with. All of her abilities are aimed at Anemo damage buffing, and it she not provide any other enhancements. Although she can be used to Swirl and reduce elemental resistance with the Viridescent Venerer. But it should be borne in mind that in this case, the buffs from the ult and passive talent will not give the rest of the squad virtually anything.
If there are no other alternatives, the heroine will cope with this role when built into EM, but it is better to use more suitable characters for this (for example, Sucrose, Anemo Traveler, Kazuha, Venti). The archer is better teamed up with Anemo dps. It is only worth using a heroine with other elements if she is a damage dealer herself, and then her buffs will at least be useful for increasing her own attack power.
Characters with good synergy
Let's look at the heroes that are best suited for Faruzan's teams.
Damage dealers
As mentioned above, she plays best with Anemo damage dealers. Yet, don't forget about sub-DDs of other elements that can provide various buffs or help with creating the Swirl reaction.
| Character | Element | Weapon | Effects |
|---|---|---|---|
Varka | Anemo | Claymore | Simultaneously attacks with Wind and Pyro/Cryo/Hydro/Electro elements. Although the damage percentage is higher with the latter, the Anemo elemental boost will still significantly increase Varka's damage. |
Wanderer | Anemo | Catalyst: | Perfectly complements the Wanderer team as a support and buffer for Anemo damage. Also serves as a battery for recharging energy. |
Heizou | Anemo | Catalyst: | Just like Wanderer, Heizou is a core DPS for whom Faruzan Anemo buffs will be extremely useful. |
Xiao | Anemo | Polearm | Another Anemo DPS that deals damage primarily with elemental attacks. |
Ganyu | Cryo | Bow | Cryo splash damage, secondary DPS. |
Rosaria | Cryo | Polearm | A quick cooldown of skills allows you to effectively distribute Cryo status. |
Mona | Hydro | Catalyst: | Increases damage dealt by your ult. |
Xingqiu | Hydro | One-handed sword | Hydro status from off-field and additional damage. |
Xiangling | Pyro | Polearm | Attacks nearby enemies with Pyro from elemental burst and elemental skill. Perfectly goes into a Swirl team. |
Yae Miko | Electro | Catalyst: | Excellent Electro DPS with permanent status and periodic damage from off-field. |
Raiden | Electro | Polearm | Can deal damage on her own or distribute Electro with the elemental skill for Swirl. Also fills energy during the elemental burst, which is extremely useful for Faruzan's expensive ult. |
Fischl | Electro | Bow | Secondary damage dealer with pocket abilities to effectively Swirl. |
Beidou | Electro | Claymore | Allows the active character to deal Electro damage to nearby enemies during the elemental burst. On the 1st constellation also generates shields. |
Supports
Since the scientist has no protective functions, the team should have a healer or shielder who will save the squad. In addition to them, you can consider buffers for various characteristics and combat mechanics.
| Character | Element | Weapon | Effects |
|---|---|---|---|
Kazuha | Anemo | One-handed sword | Faruzan will increase the damage of Kazuha's elemental skill and elemental burst. She also allows him to be a better damage dealer. |
Anemo Traveler | Anemo | One-handed sword | On the last constellation, also reduces enemy resistance to Anemo by 20%. Together with Faruzan in this way, they can reduce elemental resistances by up to 50%. |
Venti | Anemo | Bow | Additional control with his ult, as well as when absorbing the elements, also restores energy to allies. |
Jean | Anemo | One-handed sword | Can act as a healer for Faruzan if she is a DD. And vice versa, if Jean is a damage dealer, the scientist will be an excellent buffer for her. |
Sayu | Anemo | Claymore | More affordable Anemo heal. |
Sucrose | Anemo | Catalyst: | Will boost elemental mastery in Swirl teams. |
Diona | Cryo | Bow | Provides shields, healing, and at C6 will increase elemental mastery by 200 with her ult. |
Layla | Cryo | One-handed sword | The lack of a healer is compensated by a strong shield and more active status distribution. Can deal Cryo splash damage with her elemental burst. |
Kokomi | Hydro | Catalyst: | Permanent healing and an additional source of Hydro damage. |
Thoma | Pyro | Polearm | Grants shields, and normal hits of the active character during the ult will activate Fiery Collapses, which deal Pyro damage in an area. Works as a second support/sub-dd to Anemo DPS. |
Bennett | Pyro | One-handed sword | Buffs for attack power and heals. |
Dori | Electro | Claymore | Heals and simultaneously restores energy to the active character. |
Zhongli | Geo | Polearm | Provides strong shields and lowers the elemental resistance of enemies. |
Examples of strong teams
If she is playing a support role, it is advisable to have an Anemo DD in the squad, since her bonuses only work for this element (e.g. Gorou). If she is the main DD herself, she can use buffs to increase her own damage, and use other elements to Swirl with skills.
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Varka | Faruzan | Durin Fischl Mona | Bennett Iansan Yelan | For closed resonance Hexenzirkel the character in the third slot answers. If you take Mona equip it on her Prototype AmberTo ensure there's healing in the team. Iansan and Bennett are capable of healing with their skills. |
Wanderer | Xingqiu Yelan | Bennett | Faruzan's buffs increase the Wanderer's Anemo damage and at the same time cut enemy resistance to this element by 30%. The other characters activate elemental skills, which the Wanderer Swirls, simultaneously accelerating damage from other elements. | |
Wanderer | Raiden | Kokomi | An alternative build variation with Wanderer via Hydro and Electro Swirl. Faruzan buffs Anemo damage, while thanks to Wanderer and Raiden she quickly gains energy for the ult. Shogun and Kokomi's pocket abilities help to trigger the Swirl reaction and deal additional damage. | |
Wanderer | Yae Miko | Dori | Variation with Electro Swirl and two resonances. At the same time, Dori helps Yae Miko replenish energy with her elemental burst. | |
Xiao | Bennett | Zhongli | Faruzan helps Xiao regenerate energy faster, increases Anemo damage, and lowers enemy resistance. Bennet provides healing and an attack power buff. Zhongli applies a strong shield and also additionally cuts the elemental resistances of nearby enemies. It can be replaced with Layla, Diona, Thoma, or another shielder. | |
Xiao | Xiangling | Diona | Team with Pyro and Cryo Swirl. Faruzan increases Xiao's own damage. Xiangling can also deal damage while his elemental burst is on cooldown. Dione will provide a heal and a shield. | |
Kazuha | Fischl | Thoma Diona | Kazuha is the main damage dealer in this case. Faruzan increases his elemental damage, Fischl uses her elemental skill to summon Oz to Swirl Electro. The last slot can be filled with a healer/shielder, who can also distribute status from off-field for Swirling. | |
Kazuha | Xingqiu Yelan | Layla | The squad allows you to almost constantly keep enemies under control thanks to Frozen and pulling from Kazuha and Faruzan. This deals increased Anemo damage due to the archer's buffs. | |
Heizou | Mona | Dori | Team with Heizou through Hydro and Electro Swirl. Faruzan helps generate energy, buffs Anemo damage, and lowers enemy resistance. Mona similarly acts as a buffer and source of Hydro status. Dori additionally restores energy with her elemental burst, as well as heals and helps Swirling Electro. | |
Heizou | Xiangling | Shinobu Beidou Thoma | Instead of Hydro characters, you can use Pyro. Shinobu can also be replaced with Beidou for Overloaded damage, or with Thoma/Bennett for Pyro Resonance, which gives +25% attack power. | |
Ganyu Rosaria Kaeya | Xiangling | Jean Sayu | A squad with Faruzan as the main damage dealer. Ganyu/Rosaria/Kaeya and Xiangling deal extra damage and help with Swirl. At the same time, the archer uses an elemental skill and elemental burst, dealing most of the damage with her own buffs. Jean or Sayu heal and restore energy. | |
Lisa | Xiangling | Barbara | Fully F2P team via Electro and Pyro Swirl. Lisa uses her Elemental Burst with Electro AoE damage, Xiangling uses Pyro off-field, Barbara applies Wet status and heals. | |
Fischl | Mona | Jean Sayu | Another variation of the team with Electro and Hydro boost using Fischl and Mona's abilities. For a healer, it's still Sayu or Jean. |

Skills

Faruzan is an Anemo Buffer whose skills are aimed at helping the team by pulling enemies together when using an elemental skill and lowering their resistance to Anemo with an ultimate. She is also able to apply an effect to characters that gives a bonus to Anemo damage.
Next, we will take a closer look at how the heroine’s skills work and in what order it is best to upgrade them.
Basic (Active) Skills
Parthian Shot
Normal attacks fire up to 4 shots with the bow.
While aiming, she accumulates the power of a mighty wind and fires with increased Anemo damage. With a plunging attack, releases a hail of arrows. Upon landing, deals physical damage to an area.
Wind Realm of Nasamjnin
Creates a polyhedron that deals Anemo damage to an area and grants Faruzan the Manifest Gale: The next charged shot consumes this state and becomes a Hurricane Arrow. This damage is proportional to the power of a fully charged normal attack shot.
Hurricane Arrow inflicts on enemies or characters Pressurized Collapse. After a short delay, a vortex is created that deals Anemo damage in an area and pulls in nearby items and enemies. If the Hurricane Arrow doesn't hit mobs or heroes, the vortex will spawn in the area hit by it.
Manifest Gale duration: 18 seconds. Cooldown time: 6 seconds.
The Wind's Secret Ways
Creates a Dazzling Polyhedron that releases Whirlwind Pulse and attacks with Anemo in an area. The Polyhedron moves around the battlefield in a triangular trajectory. Upon reaching the top of the triangle, it releases one Whirlwind Pulse:
- On hit, the wave inflicts Perfidious Wind's Bale on enemies, reducing their Anemo Resistance by 30% for 4 seconds.
- Also grants the Prayerful Wind's Benefit to nearby characters, granting them an Anemo Damage Bonus for 4 seconds.
Duration: 12 seconds. Cooldown time: 20 seconds. Energy consumption: 80.
Passive Skills
Tomes Light the Path
Gains 25% more rewards when dispatched on a Sumeru Expedition for 20 hours.
Impetuous Flow
During the Elemental Skill's Manifest Gale state, the charge time of Aimed Shot is reduced by 60%, and enemies hit by the Pressurized Collapse are inflicted with the Elemental Burst's Perfidious Wind's Bale, reducing their Anemo Resistance by 30%.
Lost Wisdom of the Seven Caves
When characters affected by The Wind's Secret Ways' Prayerful Wind's Benefit deal Anemo damage with any attacks or abilities, they gain Hurricane Guard: damage dealt is increased by 32% of Faruzan's base attack no more than once every 0,8 seconds. After Prayerful Wind's Benefit ends or is activated once, the effect disappears.
Leveling Order
The key skill of the scientist is her elemental burst. It allows the archer to maximize her abilities as a buffer, since the Anemo damage bonus grows with the level. It should be leveled first of all to 9-10.
Her Elemental Skill is also a pretty strong control skill. In addition, when unlocking the passive talent Impetuous Flow, it also lowers Anemo resistance, just like the ult. Normal attacksare worth leveling up only if you use the archer as your main DD. But it's worth considering that the damage of this skill is still quite low.
Constellations
| number | Name | Effects |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | The Wondrous Path of Truth | Characters affected by The Wind's Secret Ways' Prayerful Wind's Benefit have 40% increased CRIT DMG when they deal Anemo DMG. When the active character deals DMG while affected by Prayerful Wind's Benefit, they will apply Pressurized Collapse to the opponent damaged. This effect can be triggered once every 3s. This CD is shared between all party members. |
| 1 | Truth by Any Means | During the effect of Manifest Gale, the Archer's Elemental Skill , can fire off a maximum of 2 Hurricane Arrows using fully charged Aimed Shots. |
| 4 | Divine Comprehension | Depending on the number of enemies hit by the Pressurized Collapse (Elemental Skill) vortex, energy is restored: hitting one enemy - 2 energy, each additional hit - 0,5 energy. One vortex can restore no more than 4 energy. |
| 2 | Overzealous Intellect | Dazzling Polyhedron (elemental burst) exists 6 seconds longer -> 18 seconds. |
| 3 | Spirit-Orchard Stroll | Increases skill level of the Wind Realm of Nasamjnin (elemental skill) by 3. Max. Lvl: 15 |
| 5 | Wonderland of Rumination | Increases skill level of the The Wind's Secret Ways (elemental burst) by 3. Max. Lvl: 15 |
Best constellations of Faruzan are C2,С4 and С6:
- The second constellation will increase the duration of the ult, which means the buffs will be active a little longer. In particular, the usual duration of the ult is 12 seconds, each bonus lasts 4 seconds. That is, they could be updated at best no more than 3 times. Also, after this, it was necessary to wait another 8 seconds for the cooldown. However, after receiving C2, the elemental burst lasts 18 seconds, which means that the buffs can be updated 1 more time, and there will be 2 seconds left until the end of the recharge instead of 8.
- The fourth one solves the energy gain problem as she can generate 4 extra energy every time she uses an elemental skill.
- The sixth constellation allows you to increase Anemocritical damage of the active character during the ult by 40%. This is not only a great buff for Anemo DPS, but also for the archer herself. In fact, C6 increases her potential as both a damage dealer and a buffer at the same time.
How to play Faruzan

The heroine is first and foremost an Anemo buffer , aimed to increase the elemental damage of the main damage dealer with her Elemental Burst , while reducing the enemies' resistance to Anemo. Therefore, the basis for the effective use of Faruzan's abilities is the consistent use of elemental skill to gain energy. Despite somewhat a narrow focus, the heroine can use her own buffs to attack. But even so, the principle of the game does not change. The only thing is that she has to be present on the battlefield more often, and not go into the pocket.
Rotation
The order of activation of skills in the squad where she is a support, is as follows:
- Use skills and buffs for the rest of the supports from the pocket.
- Switch to Faruzan and use her elemental skill, moving into the state of Manifest Gale. Then release a charged shot at enemies, thereby creating a vortex and getting particles of energy.
- Activate the ultimate, then switch to Anemo damag dealer and start attacking enemies with skills and regular attacks until all the buffs are over.
- Repeat from step 1.
For Anemo archer in the position of a main dps the rotation is as follows:
- Activate elemental abilities and buffs for supports.
- Switch to Faruzan, use her E and charged shot to create a vortex and generate energy particles.
- Use her elemental burst, thereby receiving a bonus to Anemo strikes and reducing the resistance of enemies for 12 seconds, then attack. You can also switch to other supports and sub-dds to update their skills in the arena if you play through Swirl.
- After 6 seconds, re-apply the elemental skill and the charged shot to once again pull off all the opponents.
- While the skill is recharging and the ult is on cooldown, repeat the rotation from step 1.
Character Summary

Faruzan is a unique Anemo support, which has no analogues in Genshin Impact, since most often the characters of this element are aimed at strengthening other elements and increasing the power of the Dispersion reaction. However, it allows Anemo damage dealers, increasing their damage and decreasing enemy resistance to this element. Also, with certain builds, she can do her own damage, using her buffs.
If you need a support hero or sub-dd for a team with Anemo DPS (Wanderer, Xiao or Heizou), the scientist from Sumeru Academy will do an amazing job here.

When was the last time she was in the banner and when will she be next?
Add Rainbow Serpent's Rain Strings. It's an event-specific gun. T1 is overkill for it, in my opinion, if it's R5 (and it's R5 because it's an event).
Add the new Vinti bow to the guide
Why haven't you added Chronicles of the Desert Halls for the Faruzan DD version? The passive seems perfect.
Guys, forgot about the troupe, if she is a sub DD on c6, then this is the best set, she doesn't lose her buffs, and her personal damage increases significantly, since collapses often proc
