But, the weakest point of the tank is the turret, which before patch 1.10.1 had armor thickness in the frontal projection of only 185 mm, which, taking into account the almost right angle, is very small. Previously, even tanks of levels 8-9 could penetrate it, but now the armor in this place is 250 mm.
This reliably protects against most tier 8 tanks, many STs and LTs at tier 9. But for penetrating anti-tank guns and tanks of level 10, the given armor is not enough, you can only play from the tower from a distance, hoping for a miss or a hit in a strong gun mask.
Mobility
E 50 M, with a similar mass, received an engine much more powerful than its predecessor, namely 1200 against 900 horses. It raised power density from 14 to 19 hp / t and made the top more dynamic - it allowed you to pick up speed faster, which the nine was frankly lacking. Plus, the speed of rotation of the body was also tightened.
As a result, both in terms of maximum speed and overall mobility, the E 50 M turned out to be one of the best after the Leopard, it is definitely more pleasant to play on it. It is also worth noting that the transmission has been moved from the front to the rear of the hull. This ruled out the knocking out of the engine when breaking through the NLD, which was what the E 50 suffered from.

Don't let ST and LT get into your sides and stern, ram and clinch with low opponents, they won't be able to break through your VLD. Using the mass and powerful engine, at the first opportunity, push enemies with a large supply of HP off a cliff or into the water to quickly destroy them.
In any case, you should not try to trade the tower, use it correctly - work from the slides from a distance, rolling back after the shot, so as not to get an answer in the forehead of the tower. Use good driving performance and change position if necessary, go where you can get more damage.
Results
As a result, the E 50 M has not changed much in terms of gameplay. This is still the same universal deadly vehicle, combining the roles of an attack aircraft and a sniper, which is equally good for playing on open and city maps.
