The current version of the game in the form of Greymoor has given some room for melee characters.
Among them, you can also find a mana keeper, who, with a branch of vampirism, is able to mow down crowds of enemies and not out of breath. Consider in this guide how to make such a character.
General description of the class
Warden is a popular class that resembles druid. Such a character is capable of many things - heal allies, hold out against several enemies and even defeat them. This is possible, first of all, thanks to its class branches, the potential of which is extremely high. It remains only to use them correctly.
Role
A mana guard can play not only the role of a damage dealer and a healer, but also a tank, if you correctly invest all the points in the abilities you need for the game. This guide will show you a universal mana saver that is suitable for solo play, dungeons and even raids.
Resource used
The main resource that the custodian constantly uses is − mana, so the emphasis when playing for him should be done precisely on this parameter. Can also be used stamina, but mana will still be applied more often.
Attributes
Mana Warden uses magic as the main resource, and therefore you need to invest most of the points in this parameter in order not to feel embarrassed. Little can be invested in health.
Races for class
There are not so many ideally suited races for a mana-keeper - there are only four of them. Let's consider them in more detail.
[Table id = 4 /]Mundus Stone
The only Mundus stone worthy of the attention of this class is Тень. His specialization is in increased damage from critical hits. It is not tied to weapons and spells, the main thing is to inflict damage on the enemy. To get to this Mundus stone, you need to teleport to Greenshade or come on foot from neighboring locations. Then you need to be in the city Marbrook. Moving a little away from it, you should go towards the lawn on the rocks, where in the middle of them is the desired sign Mundusa.
Mana Guardian Build
Mana Guardian with vampire branch is a very unusual option, since everything related to vampires has undergone changes in Greymoor and in the updates after it.
Attention below is offered PvE and PvP options for builds.
PvE build
Since this guide has such a feature as the presence of a vampire branch of spells, one row of skills will take them into account. Consider first the first branch of abilities.
- Blood for blood. Morph from the "Rip" branch of the Vampires. Uses health. Deals magic damage to an enemy, increasing up to 100% based on missing health.
- Deep break. Morph from the "Burning" class branch of the keeper "Animal Helpers". Uses mana. Summons three shalks (beetles) that deal magic damage and apply a debuff that reduces their magic resistance.
- Attack mukh. Morph from "Roy" from the same branch. Uses mana. Summons flies that deal magic damage for about 10 seconds. Damage increases with every second. Applies the Minor Vulnerability debuff, increasing incoming damage against the enemy.
- Blue female netch. Morph from "Female netch" from the same branch. Uses mana. Restores it, and also increases damage with weapons and spells. Gradually removes negative effects from you.
- Inner Light. Morph from "Magic Light" from the Mages Guild branch. Uses mana. Summons a moonlight that reveals invisible enemies and prevents them from entering back in. Also increases maximum magicka and spell critical rating.
Now let's move on to the second line of abilities - already without the vampire line.
- Any weapon skill depending on the preference of the player.
- Winter's Revenge. Morph from Piercing Shards from the Winter's Embrace class tree. Uses mana. Deals frost damage to a specific target, not to those around the player. Damage is based on spell damage and max magicka. In addition, the movement speed of opponents is reduced.
- Mysterious sphere. Morph from the "Necrotic Orb" from the Undaunted branch. Uses mana. Flying towards the enemy, the ball increases its magic damage, which will be dealt to the target. Activating the Ignite synergy by an ally will allow you to deal even more damage to the enemy, while restoring magicka or stamina to the ally.
- Absorption of magic. A morph from Cancellation from the Light Armor tree. Uses mana. Allows you to restore mana when absorbing damage from enemy spells. The amount of restored magic depends on the number of pieces of light armor worn on the character.
- Predatory bird. Morph from Falcon Speed from the Animal Helper class tree. In addition to increasing speed, the ability to increase the damage of the player.
PvP build
Now consider a build that will be effective against humans. In addition to the speed of killing the player, you need to think about your own survival.
- Fly attack. Morph from "Roy" from the Animal Helpers branch. Summons flies, with increasing magic damage and a debuff to increase incoming damage to enemies.
- Predatory bird. Morph from "Speed of the Falcon" from the same branch. Gives increased speed and increased damage to the player.
- Blue female netch. Restores mana, increases damage with weapons and spells. Removes debuffs.
- Extraction of energy. Morph from "Essence Extraction" from the Vampire branch. Deals magic damage, drains health and stamina from an enemy. Heals the player.
- Any skill from the weapon branch.
Champion system
Upon reaching level 50, the player is granted access to the champion system, where champion points (CP) can be invested in the passive properties necessary for a good game.
Consider where exactly it is worth investing:
- Constellation of the Apprentice. There you need to look at the Master of the Elements, Elven blood and Witchcraft erosion.
- Constellation Lover. The following properties are improved there: Sorcerer, Tenacity and Strong Health.
- Constellation Horse и Lady. Both constellations focus on improving defense, so you can invest in more physical and magical resistance.
The rest of the Constellations are at the discretion of the player who wants to tweak the build a little for themselves.
Consumables
From food it is worth considering two options:
- Marinated fish in Arteium style. Increases magicka and health. Lasts two hours. The recipe is obtained from Submerged Psijic Bags, which in turn must be caught in the process of fishing on the island of Artaeum. A great consumable option for solo and raid play.
- Enchanted sugar skulls. Improves all three parameters, and also slightly speeds up the recovery of health. The ingredients are honey, skrib jelly, birch sap, flour and columbine. Requirements - Level 1 Recipe Upgrade and Level 4 Recipe Quality. Great option for solo play.
There are only three potions suitable for use by a mana-keeper:
- Magic recovery. When drinking it, the player applies the Greater Intelligence effect to themselves, speeding up the recovery of magic.
- Increased Critical Chance from weapons. A potion with this property will apply the Great Ferocity effect to the player. This will increase the chance of critical damage.
- Increasing spell power. Imposing the effect of "Great Sorcery" after drinking a potion can increase the power of spells.
Suitable sets
A hero like a mana saver doesn't need particularly complex sets to get through most of the story and dungeons with any difficulty. A couple of sets are enough, which can be obtained quite easily. And which ones - we will tell below.
- Maternal grief. Starter set for mana guardian. Increases maximum magicka, as well as spell critical rating. Dropped from Deshaan.
- Julianos law. Not a bad option for a mana keeper. Added in DLC: Orsinium. Craftable, not mined from dungeons. You can ask crafters in any guild and they will make it. Increases spell critical rating and maximum magicka. A full set also increases spell power.
- Strategist caster. If you can’t get the Julianos Law, then you can take a closer look at this set. Added in DLC: Murkmire, obtained through the game in PvP. Increases maximum magicka and spell power. A full set allows you to mark the enemy, increasing damage on him.
Mana Guardian is a character with high damage potential that can not only stand up for himself, but also defeat many enemies. He also feels good in PVP, so it’s worth taking a closer look at such a choice if you are just starting to play TESO.

Now a new champion system. all shoveled. It would be nice to make a new guide for the keeper, taking into account updates. So also gear, the same Maternal sorrow was fixed and not only her.
There are not so many ideally suited races for a mana-keeper - there are only four of them. Let's consider them in more detail.
