Nomination "Voice of the players” gives viewers the opportunity to choose the best game of the year in several stages. Journalistic publications and critics do not participate in the voting, the choice of which affects all other TGA nominations.
This nomination is different from “Games of the Year” and is not central to the show, but provides an opportunity for people to express their opinion.
In the last stage of the voting, shortly before the announcement of the results, the fans fought for the title of game of the year according to the fans:
- Sonic Frontiers;
- Genshin Impact;
- Elden Ring;
- God of War: Ragnarok;
- Stray.
It is known that the main confrontation took place between fans of Sonic Frontiers and Genshin Impact, and in the heat of battles, fans from both camps accused each other of cheating votes.
