Guinaifen in HSR is an epic fire character whose main mechanic is based on the imposition of the Burn status. This effect is considered a damage over time (DoT) debuff that is triggered at the start of the enemy's turn. In addition, she can spread the universal condition Firekiss, which directly increases the damage taken by enemy targets.
The heroine complements both standard groups well due to her good personal damage and debuff, as well as teams that are completely focused on playing from DoTs. She is also undemanding to the build and has a simple rotation, which makes her a comfortable unit for beginners. At later stages, she will act as a support until legendary analogues are obtained.

The Heroine's Story

Guinaifen is a street artist who performs acrobatics on a terrace in Exalting Sanctum. She was born into an aristocratic family on a planet far from Luofu and was named Guinevere. Being one of the youngest children in the family, she received a lot of affection and love from her parents, until one day the Antimatter Legion invaded her world.
Escape from their home planet led Guinevere and her brothers to a place forgotten by the Aeons, where even oxygen was in short supply. She spent her youth struggling to survive until her brothers became intergalactic pirates and the means to survive became scarce again. They lived a dishonest life as bandits until they attempted to steal from one of Xianzhou's ships and were caught.
However, the Cloud Knights showed mercy and pardoned the family, giving them a new destiny. Guinevere began to learn acrobatics and proved so skilled that she became a famous artist. A new name, suitable for the local culture, was given to her by Sushan, now her close friend. The girl accepted her new life in unfamiliar lands and now strives to repay the kindness shown.

How Guinaifen Skills Work
The heroine's skills extend to multiple targets and allow her to cast Burn, which is a negative DoT status. At the same time, the street artist is also able to inflict additional damage on enemies with this effect and hang Firekiss, which increases the damage received by mobs. All this allows the character to optimally interact with both regular combat units and those who play from periodic statuses.
Active skills
Technique "Skill Showcase» || Single Strike
Immediately attacks the enemy and after entering combat deals fire damage 4 times to a random target equal to 50%. of ATK. Additionally, the technique has a base chance of 100% to inflict the attacked enemy with Firekiss.
Basic AttackStanding Ovation» || Single Strike
Deals fire damage to the selected enemy equal to 50-130% of ATK.
Skill "Blazing Welcome» || Explosion
Deals fire damage to the target enemy equal to 60-120% of ATK, and deals fire damage to adjacent targets equal to 20-50% of ATK, and also has a base 100% chance to inflict Burn. An enemy with this status receives periodic fire damage for 2 turns equal to 83-272% of ATK.
Superpower"Watch This Showstopper» || AoE
Deals fire damage to all enemies equal to 72-144% of ATK. If the target is already under Burn, then this status immediately deals damage equal to 72-102% of the initial damage.
Passive Skills
Talent "PatrAeon Benefits» || Debuff
When Guinaifen is on the battlefield and after Burn the enemy has deals damage, there is a basic 100% chance to apply Firekiss. The damage received by an enemy with the named negative state is increased by 4-8,5% for 3 turns. The effect can stack up to 3 times.
Leveling Order
Skill = Talent > Super Ability > Basic Attack
The priority for skill leveling should be as follows:
- Leveling of the skill Blazing Welcome affects the strength of the Burn status, and the talent allows you to apply debuffs that increase the DPS of the entire team. These skills are equally useful therefore they are leveled side-by-side.
- Ultimate spreads to all enemies at once and immediately activates the existing Burn statuses.
- Normal attack deals the least damage in comparison, but can impose a status with a leveled trace "High Poles". The abilities already listed are more priority, so the resources are used for the basic attack last.
Traces

| Fire dmg bonus | 22,4%. |
| Break Effect | 24%. |
| Effect Hit Rate (EHR) | 10%. |

| Bladed Hoop: At the start of the battle, Guinaifen's action moves forward by 25% | Fire Bonus +4,8% (A4) | Break effect +8% (A5) | Fire Bonus +4,8% (A5) |
| Walking on Knives: damage dealt to enemies with the Burn status is increased by 20% | EHR +6% (A6) | Break Effect +10,7% (level 75) | |
| Fire Bonus +6,4% (Lvl 80) |
Eidolons
| number | Name | Effects |
| 1 | Slurping Noodles During Handstand | Using the skill has a base 100% chance to decrease the target's effect resistance by 10% for 2 turns. |
| 2 | Brushing Teeth While Whistling | If the enemy has the Burn status, the basic attack and skill will increase the damage multiplier of the existing status by 40%. |
| 3 | Smashing Boulder on Chest | Skill level +2, maximum – 15. Basic attack level +1, maximum – 10. |
| 4 | Blocking Pike with Neck | Restores 2 energy each time the Burn status is applied and deals damage. |
| 5 | Swallowing Sword to Stomach | Superpower level +2. Talent level +2. The maximum level is 15. |
| 6 | Catching Bullet with Hands | Max. stacks of the Firekiss status increase by 1. |
Best Guinaifen's Eidolons are E2, E4 and E6.
- Second eidolon Increases the multiplier of one of the main sources of damage - Burn. Periodic fire damage depends on the attack power and skill level, respectively, the enhancement from the eidolon stacks with these indicators.
- Fourth Eidolon Simplifies the generation of energy for the ultimate. Considering that the character's mechanics allow for periodic damage to be applied to several opponents at once, the energy for the ultimate will be restored every enemy turn.
- Sixth Eidolon Affects the increase of the outgoing DPS of the whole team thanks to the talent. After receiving damage from Burn, the enemy is given a Firekiss, which increases the damage received by the target. With the Eidolon, Firekiss can be stacked up to 4 times instead of 3.
How to Play Guinaifen in HSR

The core of the game for the artist is to deal fire damage and apply Burn. The peculiarity of the mechanics lies in the status Firekiss, which increases the damage received by the enemy depending on the number of stacks. With the help of the skill, the character targets the selected monster and nearby enemies. The super ability deals AoE damage and causes fire debuffs to work. The main task is to constantly maintain and activate these bonuses.
The principle of Guinaifen's rotation:
- Before the start of the battle, use debuffing and buffing techniques of the characters.
- Use Gui's technique to start the fight with buffs - attack a random enemy four times, apply Burn.
- During the turn, use Blazing Welcome on targets without DoTs to weaken all enemies on the field.
- Alternate between basic attack and skill as needed. Try to keep Burn on all enemies.
- Activate your super ability when all enemies are weakened to deal additional damage from each status.

Strengths and Weaknesses

| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Speeds up the flow of battle. Can activate periodic fire damage that is already applied to monsters. Thanks to the ultimate, Burn is triggered without having to wait for the enemy's turn. | Quite an expensive superpower: costs 120 energy. This problem can be solved by opening the fourth eidolon, using a link rope for energy restoration, or supports that provide regeneration (such as Tingyun or Huohuo). |
| Equally effective against single targets and groups of enemiesThe mechanics are based on a periodic status that the character inflicts with a normal hit on one enemy or a skill on several. | Low base attack power (ATK). This characteristic determines the calculation of the final ATK, which directly affects the key mechanic - damage from Burn. For good results, you will have to invest in these parameters as much as possible, for example, equip a cone or collect multipliers in relics. |
| DoT does not take into account the stats that affect crits when calculating the final damage figure, so Guinaifen is extremely easy to build. For high DPS, it is enough for her to pick up relics on ATK. | Periodic debuffs reveal as the battle progresses, as they require multiple cycles to activate and stack. This makes the character weaker at the start of a battle and in short battles. Having Kafka in the party or using the ultimate frequently can compensate for this disadvantage. |
| Does not require additional investment. Eidolons and legendary weapons do not buff the heroine much, so that you can spend little resources on her. | |
| Powerful debuffer и minor DD: due to the talent, increases damage to monsters with the Firekiss status, which is also useful for Guinaifen herself. |
Best Guinaifen Builds in Honkai: Star Rail

The Street Performer specializes in dealing periodic fire damage from Burn, followed by the Firekiss debuff, which increases the damage taken by the enemy. The DoT status is not affected by crit-related stats, but relies on attack power and chance to hit effects. Priority stats when building Guinaifen in HSR:
- ATK (ATK) – Increases all DPS dealt, including abilities and periodic debuffs.
- Effect Hit Rate (EHR) – increases the success of applying debuff effects, in this case – the Burn status.
- Speed – the order of actions in the battle depends on this stat.
- Break effect – Allows you to deal more damage after destroying the enemy's fire toughness bar.
Recommended Stats
Parameters to look for in relics:
| Relic | Main characteristic |
| Head | HP (fixed) |
| Hands | Attack Power (fixed) |
| Body | Attack Power - priority / EHR – situational |
| Boots | Speed |
| Planar Sphere | Fire dmg bonus |
| Link Rope | Attack Power - priority / energy recovery – situational |
Additional indicators in relics:
- Attack Power;
- speed;
- EHR;
- break effect;
- crit. indicators (affects your own damage from skills).
Recommended final characteristics values for a comfortable game:
- ATK: not less than 2500;
- speed: 134 and more;
- effect hit rate: 30-67%;
- break effect: up to 50%;
- energy recharge: 100% (120% - situational in teams relying on Burn);
- Crit Rate and DMG: in a ratio of 1:2 (50/100). It is not recommended to invest heavily in gaining crits, since damage from skills is only a small part of the gameplay.
Light Cone Rating
The chosen cone must match the Path of Nihility in order for the passive bonus to be unlocked and used. Otherwise, the character will only receive additional points of basic stats. The following "cards" are suitable as weapons:
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | Damage dealt is increased by 12-24% for each existing debuff on the target enemy. The bonus stacks up to 3 times and applies to damage over time. | The passive effect applies to periodic damage, so it combines favorably with the heroine's mechanics. To obtain all levels of the passive, at least one more hero capable of imposing debuff is required in the team. For example, the starting Dan Heng, who reduces the target's speed with the skill - 1 stack of the passive ability, the Burn status - 2 stacks, Firekiss - 3 stacks. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | Increases EHR by 20-40% and periodic damage by 24-48%. | An excellent option with two of the most important characteristics for the heroine. The success of imposing statuses, which are subsequently enhanced by the second part of the cone’s passive ability, depends on EHR. The weapon does not have conditions for activating the effect, so the gain from it will be stable. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | Increases damage dealt to debuffed enemies by 24-40%. When the owner uses their skill, hit rate of this attack's effects increases by 18-30%, and the attack power is 24-40%. | A good "card" for increasing personal damage. The buffs work for the current use of the skill, increasing its damage, EHR and ATK, from which the ability's damage is scaled. Considering that the skills allow you to always keep negative statuses on most enemies, each hit will be under the buff. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | Damage dealt is increased by 24-40%Each hit increases the speed by 4,8-8%. The effect can be stacked up to 3 times. When the owner hits an enemy without Erode, has a base 100% chance of inflicting this status on the target. The enemy with Erode is also considered to have the Shock status. The enemy with Erode receives periodic Lightning damage equal to 60-100% of ATK of the owner, at the beginning of each turn for 1 turn. | Increases damage and speed, indirectly increasing all damage in the rotation: high speed will allow the character to take action more often, generate energy and activate Burn. As an additional bonus, the cone itself imposes a periodic effect on enemies who have received damage. Considering that the heroine has AoE mechanics, enemies will always receive additional damage not only from Burn, but also from Shock. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | Chance to hit effects increases by 40-60%. When the owner attacks an enemy with Wind Shear Burn, Shock, or Bleed, they gain 1 level of the Prophet status. This effect can stack up to 4 times. During a single battle, each type of periodic damage can only add 1 level of the Prophet status. Each level of this status increases attack power by 5-9%, and also allows periodic damage to ignore 7.2-10% of the target's defence. | Light cone with a situational passive. Without conditions, increases EHR by a decent amount. However, other weapon effects require playing in certain teams, where there are representatives of the Nihility of various elements: in this case, the girl will receive an increase in ATK and a buff to ignore the target's defense with periodic damage. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-953 ATK 26-582 DEF 24-529 | The owner has an increased EHR + 60-100%. If he uses a normal attack, skill, or ultimate to hit an enemy, that enemy has a base chance of 60% of being inflicted with the Unarmored status. An opponent with the Unarmored status receives 10-18% more damage for 2 turns. If the owner has applied a damage over time effect to an enemy target, then with a base chance of 60% the Unarmored status is enhanced to the Cornered status, with which the damage taken by the enemy increases by another 14-22% also for 2 turns. Under the conditions of the last debuff, the owner is not able to apply the Unarmored status on the enemy. | The cone's passive allows for almost the maximum required hit chance, which will help to almost always apply negative conditions to the enemy. The rest of the weapon's bonus will allow the entire team to deal more damage to enemies with the Unarmored or Cornered debuff. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | When the owner hits an enemy that does not have the Ensnared status, he has a base chance of 60-100% to impose the status of Ensnared on this opponent. The defense of the enemy with the status of Ensnared is reduced by 12-16% for 1 turn. | An excellent cone that allows you to reduce the enemy's defense. The heroine can damage several targets at once, casting Trap on each. The team will take advantage of this feature, attacking enemies with reduced defense. The only important condition is the duration - the speed must be higher than both enemies and allies, so that the effect does not disappear immediately after the turn. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-396 | Break effect is increased by 20-40%. Using the ultimate increases the damage dealt over time by 24-48% for 2 moves. Defeating an opponent with the wearer's Damage Over Time effect restores 4-8of their energy. | Light cone from Herta's shop. Increasing break effect for the heroine is not as important as increasing damage from the Burn status and the ability to restore energy. It will be an excellent option if you have a link rope for energy restoration or 4 eidolons. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | Increases EHR by 24-40%. When the owner deals damage to an enemy whose number of existing debuffs is greater than or equal to 3, his critical chance increases by 12-20%. After using a basic attack, skill or super ability, there is a 100% chance to inflict the Aether Code status on the target. The damage received by the enemy under this status is increased by 12-20% for 1 turn. | Increases EHR and after any hit imposes a debuff effect that increases the damage taken by the enemy. When hitting an enemy with a large number of negative effects, it additionally increases the chance of a critical hit, which is useful for the heroine's own DPS. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | Increases EHR by 20-40%. When the owner attacks an opponent with reduced defense, he recovers 4-8 energy. | Free weapons for completing the stages of the patch 1.1 event. The cone has a useful permanent buff for successfully inflicting negative statuses. To activate the second part of the passive effect, you will need a debuffer in the team that can reduce the defense of enemies. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 24-529 DEF 15-330 | After the owner uses a basic attack or skill, he deals 48-96% of attack power as additional damage to a random enemy hit. | The cone deals additional damage to one of the enemies after each basic attack or skill. The heroine's mechanics are aimed at imposing statuses of periodic damage, which the weapon does not affect in any way, so it can only be equipped if the above alternatives are missing. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 14-317 DEF 12-264 | After using the skill, the owner's next basic attack deals additional damage to the selected enemy equal to 60-120% of ATK. | An option that can be used at the start of the game. It is distinguished by an inconvenient activation of the passive ability, for which it is necessary to alternate the skill and basic attack. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 14-317 DEF 12-264 | At the start of combat, increases the chance of the wearer's effects hitting 20-40% for 3 turns. | Can be equipped at initial ranks if weapons higher are not available. Light Cone has a useful but unstable buff, as the buff only lasts the first 3 turns of the character. |
What relics and ornaments are needed
Equipped artifacts should increase the main characteristics: attack power, speed, etc. Next, let's consider which sets are suitable for the character.
Cavern relics
| Name | Effects | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. 4 parts: For each damage over time effect an enemy has (up to max 3), the owner ignores 6% of that enemy's Defense when dealing damage. | The best set for heroes with periodic damage mechanics. The artist can use the full effect of relics alone, which will apply to all types of damage. Ignoring defense will have a positive effect on the heroine's DPS in any team. |
![]() Musketeer of Wild Wheat ![]() | 2 parts: Fire Damage +10%. 2 parts: Attack power +12%. 2 Piece: Speed +6%. | Smith + Musketeer is the best relic set in a 2x2 build that will buff the unit to the max by giving a percentage increase to the main stats. One of the sets can be replaced with parts of the set "Messenger Traversing Hackerspace”, however, the basis is Musketeer/Firesmith. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. 4 parts: Increases the owner's speed by 6%, also increases the damage of his basic attack by 10%. | A good alternative that combines key parameters. Since the DoT imposed by the skill depends entirely on ATK, a set with this characteristic will be useful both at the start and at later stages of mastering the game. In addition, the set enhances the normal strike and speed, positively affecting all aspects of the character. |
![]() | 2 Piece: Increases fire bonus by 10%. 4 Piece: Increases the damage dealt by the owner's skill by 12%, and also increases the fire bonus of the next hit after using the ultimate by 12%. | Increases the direct DPS of the heroine's abilities, which is more suitable for the role of the main damage dealer. Four parts of the set allow you to get a buff on the fire bonus and increase the damage from the ability that will be used after the ultimate. |
Planar ornaments
| Name | Effects | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: Increases the owner's hit rate of effects by 10%. Also increases attack power (ATK) by 25% of the current hit rate of effects. This effect can stack up to 25%. | It is not so difficult for the heroine to gain a lot of EHR with traces, cone and artifacts. With this characteristic, ATK will also increase. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases the owner's attack power (ATK) by 12%. If the owner's speed is greater than or equal to 120, their attack power increases by an additional 12%. | A balanced set aimed at increasing ATK. To get all the bonuses from the set, it is enough to equip the boots for speed. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases the owner's energy recovery speed by 5%. If the owner's speed is greater than or equal to 120, then at the beginning of the battle, its action is advanced by 40%. | A good set, considering that the character has a rather expensive superpower. Will be a great option in teams where, in addition to the artist, there will be a fire character with the ability to apply Burn, since the ultimate instantly activates this status. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases energy recovery speed by 5%. Increases damage dealt by allies of the same type as the owner by 10%. | An alternative energy recovery set that will suit a sub-DD with support functions. Works best in mono-elemental teams, since the passive bonus applies to allies of a similar element. In this case, it is suitable for groups with a fire damage dealer. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases max. Owner's HP by 12%. If the owner's speed is higher than or equal to 120 units, then the attack power of all allies increases by additional. 8%. | Planar ornaments to increase damage for the entire team. However, this set is not worth getting specifically for the girl - it is much weaker than the alternatives above. |
Team Guide for Guinaifen in HSR

In a team, Guinaifen functions as a secondary damage dealer with the ability to apply the Burn debuff. She fits perfectly into DoT teams, but can play in any group given her versatility, independence, and useful nerfs.
Which characters are suitable?
The following heroes can join the team with the street artist:
| Character | Path | Damage type | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Synergizes perfectly with the artist's mechanics. Can independently apply Burn, allowing Firekiss to appear faster and gain levels. With the talent "PatrAeon Benefits" deals additional damage to enemies with a periodic fire effect and restores energy to herself. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A damage dealer who specializes in bonus hits. Can effectively use Fire Kiss status deflectors and fill a sub-DPS position in a mono-Fire team. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Guinevere is a good representative of the Path of Nihility for Dr. Ratio, as she supports the scientist with 3 active debuffs on a permanent basis. To fully implement the bonus strike of Veritas, you can also equip the girl with the light cone "Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat": in this case, the synergy between the heroes will increase even more. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The best representative of the Path of Harmony in a team with an artist, since you can make a mono-elemental team with her. Effectively penetrates fire vulnerability, buffs ATK and speed. At the fourth ascension, you can level the trace, which increases the multiplier of the fire bonus for the entire team. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Applies the Arcane status, which deals wind damage over time or becomes all DoT effects after using the ultimate. The Street Performer will help her in accumulating stacks, while Black Swan will lower defense and increase damage taken by enemies. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Main-DD, who has an ultimate that requires a special charge of Slashed Dream instead of energy. To get it, you need to apply debuff to enemies, which Guinevere can help with. In addition, Acheron needs Path of Nihility characters to work the "Abyss" trace. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Applies the "Ashen Roast" (Burn) debuff. Enemies affected by "Ashen Roast" receive increased damage. The super ability also deals good damage and applies an additional condition that increases the damage incoming from ultimate abilities to monsters. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Specializes in negative periodic effects, but is tailored for single targets. The characters can form a powerful combination against opponents of any size. |

Conclusion

Guinaifen is a Path of Nihility character who specializes in mass debuff of enemies and periodic damage from the Burn status. In a team, she can be a main DD or sub-DD, but always needs additional sources of damage. The street artist is extremely easy to build, since she only requires high attack power and speed. She plays well with any weapon, and the presence of Eidolons is not necessary for her.
The heroine's gameplay feature is an additional debuff - Firekiss, which increases all damage received by the target. The named bonus is applied at the moment of receiving damage from any Burn and is added up according to the same principle. The character gets the greatest efficiency from playing with this status in mono-fire teams or teams with periodic damage. However, she can also be used in other packs where a sub-dd or debuffer is required.
