Despite HoYoverse's struggle with leaks, insiders continue to publicly share update details Genshin Impact и Honkai: StarRail from closed beta tests. However, the developers do not sit idle and periodically send official notices to particularly noticeable violators, mostly publishing in Chinese.
Recently, ChaliceLeaks, Heexenzirkel and GuraLeak received letters from HoYoverse demanding that they delete the leaked data and stop their activities. Each of the insiders reacted to this differently.
Chalice/Foul, and previously wanted to stop posting leaks, deleted his channel. He was a fairly reliable insider, leaking materials for upgrading heroes, as well as early skills and new functions. Hexenzirkel, those who leaked both Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail published a post about receiving notification from the developers, and then transferred the channel to another person. Previously, they, like vississ, have already been noticed by HoYoverse, but only now they have stopped publishing leaks. Insider GuraLeak I did it easier by deleting the old group with leaks and creating a new channel with almost the same name.
Apparently, the “struggle” of developers against leaks will continue until they finish running their projects. Despite the fact that during each beta there are those who get caught posting early content, major insiders are still running their social networks and covering important changes to the game in advance.

It's sad that they're banning slivers. Hoyoverse is already silent and doesn't even hint at what's coming next. Even with slivers, we find out everything almost at the last minute. From locations to banners. Take Petrichor, for example; it was revealed a week or two before release, and no one really needed it. It's a complete filler location; it doesn't contribute anything to the game's plot, like Chenyu Valley 2.0. It's as if they have no plan for the future and are just churning out crap as they go, disguised as updates.
Considering also the fact that Dainsleif's meeting with Arlecchino never took place, it's quite possible that Dainsleif simply hates her because she's a descendant of the Scarlet Moon Dynasty, which in turn abandoned Kaenri'ah and the Black Sun Dynasty, of which Dain is a member, to certain destruction. Perhaps this is why Chapter 6 of Volume 4 will be set in Sumeru, not Fontaine. For Dain has also never been to Inazuma due to Aya's radical policies toward Celestia.
The sheer number of leaks had a negative impact on the game, but after they almost completely stopped (compared to previous years), the Hoyo information space seemed to have died out. Previously, people would discuss information absolutely everywhere, regardless of whether it was true or not. This created a certain cohesion in the community, fertilizing all sorts of schizo theories. Now, people spend months mulling over information from two years ago, discussing some "leaks" from the Sumeru era. Because they're no longer getting anything, neither from Hoyo nor from insiders. People need information, they need a forum for communication and gossip. This maintains the semblance of interest among players. Now, there's simply nothing to read and nothing to discuss. Even though I'm constantly reminded that "there were periods of stagnation before," I'm in the game with the closed beta and consider the entire 4.x to be the most empty and shoddy in terms of information. And now they're even wiping out insiders like a rag doll, while if you take away the hype around the Father in 4.6, you're left with a tiny location and an entire coastline with three chests. What's even worth discussing? What's going on with the game anyway?
I hope that a dozen new leakers will replace the one banned/left, so they'll learn a lesson. The only way to manage these gachas properly is through leaks.
Thanks to slivers, you can prepare leveling materials in advance, figure out which set of items to farm, and generally prepare for a hero's release. And MHI publishes such important information a week before the banner. Also, given the lack of any roadmap or logic in banners, slivers are the only helpers in managing the rotations.
If before I was only against plot leaks (since it can really ruin the impression of the game), now I am strictly “for” any leaks. The developers themselves slow down the plot and the development of the game as much as possible, and then ban those who somehow warm up interest with these leaks.
