How to start Master Schindel's Toys quest in KCD 2
You can get the quest while searching for Kozyatin in the sixteenth story quest "In the dungeon". The search for the spy will lead Indro to the city bathhouse. Contact to the owner of the Bathhouse Adam and ask him about Kozyatin.
To start the task, follow the following algorithm in the dialogue:
- I'm looking for Kozyatin.
- And how does he intend to “collect the debt”?
- I will find what was stolen.
He won't give any more useful information, so there's no point in continuing to ask questions. Just say goodbye and go look for the spy.
If you do not ask Adam about Kozyatin and complete the quest "Into the Dungeon", you will not be able to receive the task. You can only talk to Adam while searching for the spy. As soon as Kozyatin leaves the city, the owner of the bathhouse will become inactive.
You can find the map of the Kutnogorsk dungeons yourself and use it to get to the cache, but you won’t be able to interact with it until you take the quest from Adam.

Having learned from the owner of the bathhouse that the wanted robber robbed some important scientist, find the thief and ask where the stolen goods are hidden. The spy will tell you that you will need instructions that were in the possession of a recently executed man to search. Having obtained the map, go explore the Kutnogorsk dungeons and find the stolen valuables.
Talk to Kozyatin
The easiest way to find Kozyatin is to follow Lousy Maria from the bathhouse and make your way to him through the courtyards:
- From the fountain in the square at the western gate of the city, get to the tailor's shop.
- Enter the courtyard and continue forward until you reach the cart.
- Turn left and climb over the broken fence.
- Climb the ladder in the barn.
- Move along the barn on the second floor to the northwest and exit through the window into the yard.
- Climb into the attic of the neighboring building via the cart attached to it. Kozyatin will be sitting inside this room.
You don't have to follow Lousy Maria to follow this route and find the spy. He will be here throughout the quest until you talk to him.
When you finish asking him about Shmuel and Lichtenstein, before you say goodbye, don't forget to choose a phrase: "Where are Schindel's things?"For a small fee (50 groszy) he will tell you where to look for a map of his cache with stolen items.
You can say: "I'm running out of patience"If you pass the intimidation test, you will receive information for free.
If you don't learn about the map from Kozyatin, you won't be able to take the stolen items from the dungeon and complete the quest. After the conversation, the spy will disappear and you won't be able to find him.
Take the dungeon map from the hanged thief
In any case, Kozyatin does not have the map itself, and it will have to be obtained from the body of the recently executed thief Angel. You can find him on Kutnohorsk gallows outside the eastern gate of the city.

Find the stolen items in the underground cache

The descent into the dungeon is inside it. Take the torch and go down the ladders into the underground tunnel. To get to the cache, follow the route:
- At the first fork, turn south.
- When you reach the next T-junction, turn south again.
- Continue straight ahead without turning anywhere until you reach a descent with stairs.
- Go down and go forward to the fork.
- Turn left and you will come to a dead end with a barrel lying there.
