In HSR, Sparkle plays the role of a support character whose skills are aimed at boosting the mainDPS(single target). The list of bonuses distributed by the Fool includes action advancement, increased crits, outgoing damage, and attack power. Thanks to such a set of positive effects, the girl is very reminiscent of a standard Harmony character, Wind Bronya. However, the main difference from her is the fact that the master of illusions can expand and restore skill points.
Thanks to this feature, the girl is one of the desired heroines in teams that consume skill points: for example, we are talking about the imaginary Imbibitor or quantum Archer. However, in addition to this, she will become an effective addition to damage dealers who play from high crit rates and love action advance.

Hero's story
A charming prankster and "illusionist" - one of the participants of the "Masked Fools" faction, operating in the territory of Penacony. She is a bright and unpredictable master of theatrical art, who plays any role perfectly. The girl's specialty is the possession of many masks, which allow her to take on different forms. Wealth, status, power - all these worldly and base things are unimportant to the little girl. The only thing that captivates her and makes her wake up day after day is nothing but "entertainment".
This fact is confirmed by the description in the “Memory”, depicted on the signature light cone: "Just as fireworks can flicker, she too can shift between ten different colors in a minute. When the light show nears its end, she sits high above, regarding the bustling masses beneath her feet with boredom. Thoughts flow and vanish, and slyness circulates across myriad eyes like a dancing kaleidoscope. "I've made my decision. This is how we're going to have fun today!" Bouncing and hopping, she glides through the crowds, her golden-red tail flitting in and out of sight. "Keep up! The brightest fireworks are just about to begin!"
The development of the girl's storyline can be found in her companion mission "Masquerade Duet", which is closely related to Black Swan, the Memokeeper.
How to Get the Character
Sparkle can be obtained in the "Event Warp: Character", which is called "Sparkling Splendor".

Features
Basic characteristics that increase with leveling and ascension are health, defense and attack power. The exact values of each parameter depending on the heroine's level are presented in the table:
| Level | Base HP | Base attack power | Base DEF | Basic speed | Basic taunt |
| 1 | 190 | 71 | 66 | 101 | 100 |
| 20 | 371 | 139 | 128 | 101 | 100 |
| 30 | 542 | 203 | 188 | 101 | 100 |

| 80 | 1397 | 523 | 485 | 101 | 100 |
Indicators such as speed and taunt do not change with character leveling.
How Sparkle's skills work
The skills allow the girl to compete with another representative of the Path of Harmony, Wind Bronya, which since the release of the game has occupied a high position in tier lists, being a standard legendary character. Thanks to its path affiliation, the Fool helps allies with crit buffs and total % of damage, thereby significantly strengthening the team. Such bonuses become especially relevant in the later stages of the game when completing high-level content: "Forgotten Hall", Simulated Universe, as well as "Pure Fiction" and "Apocalyptic Shadow".
The main feature of the character is skill point recovery during the battle. The mechanics partially repeat the functions of the epic heroine Hanya (Harmony: Physical), however, the replenishing properties of the legendary Fool are many times more effective. In addition, the girl can turn the actions of allies forward: the ability is somewhat inferior to the capabilities of Bronya, which has 100% advancement from the skill, but in combination with other offered bonuses in the long term, the master of illusions demonstrates greater benefit.
Active skills
Unreliable Narrator Technique || Support
After using the technique, all allies receive the “Misdirect” status, which lasts 20 seconds. While Misdirect is active, characters cannot be detected by enemies. Entering battle with the “Misdirect” status active, in turn, restores 3 skill points to the team.
Basic Attack "Monodrama" || Single Attack
Deals Quantum Damage to the target enemy equal to 50-130% of ATK.
Skill "Dreamdiver" || Support
Increases targeted ally's crit. damage by 12-30% of critical damage (plus 27-54%) for 1 turn and advances their action by 50%. When this skill is used on the heroine herself, her action does not advance.
Superpower "The Hero with a Thousand Faces" || Support
Restores 4 skill points for the team and applies the "Cipher" status to all allies. Each ally with this status increases the damage dealt by the talent by 6-12% for each level of effect for 2 turns.
Passive Skills
Talent "Red Herring" || Support
When the heroine is on the battlefield, the team's max skill points are increased by 2. Each skill point used by an ally increases the damage dealt by all allies by 3-7,5%. This effect lasts 2 turns and can stack up to 3 times.
Leveling Order
Skill/Super Ability ≥ Talent > Basic Attack
The Dreamdiver Skill and The Hero with a Thousand Faces ult are the highest priority abilities that will provide great support to the team at the initial levels of leveling up Sparkle. No less popular is the Red Herring talent that directly affects the effectiveness of the bonuses offered by the ult. Therefore, its development should take place in a consistent manner together with other abilities.
The Monodrama Basic attack is not a priority. It can be improved if there are “extra” resources. If desired, the skill can be left at level 1 improvement in order to save materials for upgrading Traces.
Traces
After learning all the traces, the total increase in characteristics will be:
| Max. HP reserve: | 28.0% |
| CRIT DMG: | 24.0% |
| Effect Resistance: | 10.0% |
| Max. HP +4.0%. | |||
| "Almanac": Using a basic attack restores 10 more energy. | Crit. damage +5.3%. | Max. HP +4.0%. | |
| Status Resistance +4.0%. | |||
| "Artificial Flower": duration of the crit damage boost effect applies by the character's skill increases until the start of the target's next turn. | Max. HP +6.0%. | Crit. damage +8.0%. | |
| Max. HP +6.0% | |||
| "Nocturne": Increases the attack power of all allies by 15%. When a team has 1/2/3 Quantum-type characters, the attack power of Quantum-type allies is additionally increased by 5/15/30%, respectively. | Status Resistance +6.0%. | Crit. damage +10.7%. | Max. HP +8.0%. |
Eidolons
All consts:
| 1 | Suspension of Disbelief | The duration of the “Cipher” status imposed by the character’s ult increases by 1 turn. Allies affected by the buff have their attack power increased by an additional 40%. |
| 2 | Purely Fictitious | Each stacking level of a character's talent allows allies to ignore 8% of the target's defense when dealing damage to it. |
| 3 | Pipedream | Superpower level increases by 2. Maximum level is 15. Basic attack level increases by 1. Maximum level is 10. |
| 4 | Life Is a Gamble | The number of skill points restored by a ult increases by 1. The talent additionally increases the max. number of skill points by 1. |
| 5 | Parallax Truth | Skill level increases by 2. Maximum level is 15. Talent level increases by 2. Maximum level is 15. |
| 6 | Narrative Polysemy | The Critical Damage Increase effect described in the skill increases Critical Damage by an additional 30% of the heroine's Critical Damage. When the girl uses her skill, the Critical Damage Increase effect described in her skill is also applied to all allies with the "Cipher" status. When the character uses her ultimate, this effect is applied to all allies with the "Cipher" status, if there is an ally in the team with an active Critical Damage Increase effect described in the skill. |
Sparkle's best eidolons are the first, second and fourth ones:
- E1 — the main feature of the heroine’s ult is that it directly affects the increase in outgoing damage, which is useful for any DPS character. The first eidolon, in turn, will expand the advantageous component of the ultimate skill, offering an additional bonus in the form of a percentage increase in attack power, which again will suit most damage dealers whose damage is scaled by this combat stat.
- E2 — the ability to ignore part of the enemy's defense is a good bonus that will allow you to deal with elite opponents and bosses faster as part of completing high-level content. In cooperation with representative of Nihility Pela, which is equipped with the Light cone “Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat”, and also when there is a DPS character wearing the artifact set Genius of Brilliant Stars, this eidolon will acquire special significance.
- E4 - represents an additional boost to the bonus from the ult, which is useful in any protracted battles. Especially if the team consists of characters who are forced to constantly consume skill points to fully unleash their personal combat potential.
How to Play Sparkle in HSR
As a follower of the Path of Harmony, the girl is engaged in the distribution of various bonuses by activating the skill, and also restores skill points and increases their number after using the ult. Thanks to the peculiarities of her mechanics, she can constantly use the skill "Dreamdiver" without worrying about the action points spent, and thereby maintain positive effects on critical damage. With proper leveling, the "energy recovery speed" parameter will allow the girl to often use the ultimate skill and thereby open up additional opportunities for allies during turn-based combat.
In Sparkle's rotation, you must adhere to the following tips:
- Before the battle, use the techniques of heroes supporting the Paths of Nihilirt and/or Preservation (also “Harmony”, if additional representatives of this path are present in the group). Next, it is important to activate the Unreliable Narrator technique, which will offer the Obfuscate status and subsequently restore up to 3 skill points at the start of the battle. Thus, the team will be able to carry out an active offensive in the first cycle of the battle - the team will not need additional actions to “build up”.
- Use the Dreamdiver skill on the main DPS character in the team, who is focused on dealing the main damage. You can only be distracted by third-party damage dealers if the main one is under the influence of negative statuses (its action is delayed or postponed).
- If for some reason there are no “free” action points to activate a skill, use a basic attack. Thanks to the Almanac Traice, she will provide additional energy for the fastest use of the ultimate skill.
- As for The Hero with a Thousand Faces ultimate, remember that its activation is possible and mandatory as energy accumulates. This skill is important not only due to the skill points (both restored and added), but also due to the additional increase in the positive bonus for increasing damage.
All about character leveling
Let's look at what resources are needed to level up to max, as well as improve the basic skills of the Fool and level up hidden talents/characteristics from the "Traces" section.

Strengths and Weaknesses
Having understood how the skills work, we can draw a conclusion about the advantages and disadvantages of the quantum representative of Harmony:
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Extremely easy to build. To reveal the main advantages, it is important for a girl to adjust such characteristics as speed, energy recovery and critical damage to the optimal value. Other parameters are insignificant, and you can think about protective functions only if there are problems with survivability. | Does not require additional eidolons and can be equipped with both a three-star and a rare weapon "card". However, to reveal the maximum potential and more comfortable play, E1 and/or signature light cone are important for her. |
| Provides essential buffs to allies, so that Geryon units often don't need additional support from support characters. Therefore, this slot can be filled by either a Path of Nihility representative or a secondary damage dealer. | Bonuses of some traces (for example, "Nocturne") are compatible only with representatives of a similar element, i.e. quantum damage type. In cooperation with other DPS characters, some of the distributed increases will not be fully realized. |
| The heroine's main feature is an increase in existing skill points and their restoration during battle. "The Klutz" can fully satisfy the most "gluttonous" DPS heroes (for example, Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae or Qingque, which has a “capricious” mechanic for selecting “Jade Tiles”). | The bonus from the Dreamdiver skill lasts for one turn, therefore, in order to constantly maintain the increase in critical damage, it is important for the Fool to always use the skill. |
Best Sparkle Builds in Honkai: Star Rail
The girl is unique, because she not only affects the increase of critical damage and overall DPS, but also restores skill points, and increases their total during the battle. Dealing damage is not a priority for her: ideally, the Fool should constantly distribute bonuses, only occasionally being distracted by the use of a basic attack.
As a result, the build of Sparkle in HSR is based on leveling up the following characteristics:
- CRIT DMG — the higher this indicator, the stronger the bonus imposed by the skill;
- energy recovery rate — affects the accumulation of energy for superpowers;
- speed - offers the opportunity to take action more often;
- RES — It is extremely undesirable for Sparkle to “stand idle” while under the influence of negative statuses that delay or postpone action.
Recommended Stats
Key indicators that are recommended to look for in relics:
| Head | HP (fixed) |
| Hands | Attack Power (fixed) |
| Body | CRIT DMG |
| Boots | Speed |
| Planar Sphere | HP |
| Link Rope | Energy recharge |
Additional characteristics that require mandatory development:
- Crit damage;
- speed;
- effect RES;
- HP or defense is a situational option.
The optimal values that are recommended to have on the character:
- CRIT DMG: 175%+ (ideally, increase to 200% or higher).
- Energy recovery rate: 120% and more.
- Health: 3-500+.
- DEF: 1 and more.
- Effect RES: 30% and more
The value of speed, in turn, depends on the girl’s role in the team:
- The preferred value is 1 or 2 points less, than the speed of the main damage dealer in the team, that is, for example, if the speed of the supposed Argenti is 134, then the heroine's indicator should be 132-133. Thus, at the beginning of the battle, Argenti will take action, and then, under the influence of bonuses from the Fool, will carry out another attack, but of an enhanced type (that is, under positive effects)
- Alternative option - 160+ speed, which turn the unit into a so-called "hypercarry support". This option is acceptable if the main DPS character in the team has a base speed value (the indicator is not modified by equipping speed boots, etc. due to higher priority indicators). Thus, the girl will directly contribute to the strengthening of the main damage dealer with her own skills and will be able to advance his action twice per battle cycle, thereby significantly influencing the outgoing damage figures.
Light Cone Rating
When choosing a weapon, it is important that it matches its path affiliation, that is, belongs to the Path of Harmony. Otherwise, the main effect of the light cone will not be active. Features to look out for:
- Crit damage;
- energy recovery rate;
- speed.
| Light cone | Effect | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 52-1164 ATK 24-529 DEF 21-463 | Increases crit. damage by 32-60%. At the beginning of the battle, the wearer of the weapon “card” is assigned the “Mask” status, which lasts for 3 turns. When the hero is under the influence of the “Mask” effect, crit. the chance of all allies increases by 10-14%, and crit. damage - by 28-56%. When a character restores a skill point (skill points exceeding the limit are taken into account), he receives 1 lvl. "Radiant Flame" charge. Upon reaching level 4. charge, “Radiant Flame” is replaced by the “Mask” effect, which lasts for the next 4 turns. | A signature that offers a noticeable increase to the personal crit. damage indicator (affects the power of bonuses distributed by the heroine). Additionally, it provides passive bonuses to combat characteristics thanks to the "Mask" status, which will be useful for most damage dealers. It can be called an ideal option for the Fool, which will only boost her position as a support character. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 52-1164 ATK 24-529 DEF 21-463 | Energy recovery rate increases by 10-18%. When the owner uses their ult on an ally, they regain 1 skill point (this effect can only trigger once per two uses of the ult). After the hero activates their skill, the damage of an ally performing an action behind him increases by 30-50% for 1 turn. | Light Cone, which can be purchased for 600 Undying Starlight. Provides a bonus to energy regeneration speed: the higher this parameter, the faster the unit will be able to accumulate energy to activate the ultimate skill. In addition, it passively restores 1 action point after using the ultimate, which can be useful in teams where the main DPS character is especially "gluttonous" for skill points (for example, Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae). The only nuance lies in the second part of the “Heir” passive effect: for the full implementation of the weapon “card” skill, it is extremely important that the main damage dealer in the team performs the action immediately after Sparkle. Otherwise, you may lose the additional bonus to increase outgoing damage. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 19-423 DEF 15-330 | At the start of combat, when an ally deals damage of the same type as the Weapon Card's bearer's attack type, their damage dealt increases by 12-24%. | An epic "card" as a 4-star alternative that will be extremely effective if the girl is in a group with a DPS character of a similar element (quantum damage type). Thus, with the help of "Planetary Rendezvous", the heroine will additionally increase the quantum damage inflicted by him. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | At the beginning of the battle, as well as at the beginning of the weapon bearer’s turn, 1 random effect from the following is triggered:
| A more versatile epic quality option that can be purchased at BP "the Nameless Honor". Offers random positive boosts during battle that will last until the start of the next turn: after a second action on her part, the bonus will change. The only recommendation when playing with the Light Cone in question is that it is important to monitor the current gains and try to use the ult of damage dealers with a characteristic that is beneficial to them. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 19-423 DEF 18-396 | Passively increases the equipped character's attack power by 16-32%. If there are two or more heroes of the same Path at the start of a battle, their critical damage is increased by 16-32%. This bonus cannot stack with buffs of this type. | The Epic Banner Cone of Light will not provide any important stats, but will further increase the critical damage of two teammates if the bonus activation conditions are met. Choosing this weapon requires a certain party composition. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 19-423 DEF 18-396 | After the owner uses a basic attack, skill, or ult, he applies the Childish status to all allies. This status increases the damage dealt by an ally's corresponding skill by 12-20%. The Childishness status only works with the owner's last used skill, and it cannot stack. | An F2P weapon from the Light Cones Passage shop, which can be purchased for 200 Lucent Afterglow. Provides a nice bonus to increasing damage dealt, but has a specific implementation: the Harmony team and the main damage dealer must adhere to a similar rotation. Throughout the battle, the girl often uses the skill, so most often the buff will apply to this skill. Therefore, main DPS should also rely on skill rather than basic attack. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 19-423 DEF 18-396 | After the owner of the skill uses the damage of an ally performing an action behind him, the damage increases by 16-32% for 1 turn. | The weapon "card" is relatively similar to the legendary "Battle Not Over" light cone: it also forces you to make sure that the main DPS hero of the party takes action immediately after the bearer's turn. Not a bad option if the ones discussed above are missing, and there are also no problems with tracking the sequence of characters’ actions. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 19-423 DEF 18-396 | After using an ult, all allies' actions advance by 16-24%. | A good option that offers bonus speed increases to all allies in the team: after using the ult on the part of the heroine, the light cone will raise the actions of allies in the battle cycle and allow for a faster active offensive. If we compare the effectiveness of the “card” with the above-mentioned weapon “Past and Future”, then “Dance! Dance! Dance!" easier to use. However, in the future, the bonus to outgoing damage that the main damage dealer in the group can receive is a higher priority option than a percentage speed boost. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 14-317 DEF 12-264 | At the beginning of the battle, the attack power of all allies increases by 8-12%. This effect cannot stack with effects of this type. | A rare quality light cone that can be upgraded to the maximum superimposition level early on. A good early game option as it increases attack power, an important stat for damage dealers. |
What relics and ornaments are needed
Relics should increase her key parameters: energy recharge, speed, RES, CRIT DMG whenever possible. Quantum damage or attack power bonuses are useless to the Fool, as she is a full-fledged support character who focuses solely on applying positive bonuses during combat.
Cavern relics
| Set | Effect | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: Increases speed by 6%. 4 parts: Using a skill or ultimate on an ally increases the skill target's crit damage by 18% for 2 turns. This effect can stack up to 2 times. | One of the most effective relic sets to support the main damage dealer. Since the character is a strong support in hypercarry compositions, and her skill applies to one ally, she can easily implement the passive. Due to this, the heroine will provide an even greater increase in the critical rate of her DPS character. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases speed by 6%. 4 parts: Increases the speed of all allies by 12% when the wearer of the set uses a ultimate on a follower, for 1 turn. The effect does not stack. | A great set of Cavern Relics for Harmony heroes whose ultimate is applied to allies. Offers an additional boost to speed - an important parameter that influences the location of heroes in the battle cycle, that is, the overall frequency of their moves. |
![]() ![]() ![]() | 2 parts: Increases speed by 6%. 2 parts: Increases max. health indicator by 12%. 2 parts: Reduces damage taken by 8%. | Sets of the most suitable cavern parts in a 2x2 combination, which can be used as an alternative in the absence of the full set discussed above with suitable characteristics. |
![]() OR Musketeer of Wild Wheat | 2 parts: Increases wind damage by 10%. 4 parts: After using an ult, the wearer's action moves forward by 25%. OR 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. 4 parts: Increases the wearer's speed by 6%, also increases their basic attack damage by 10%. | Alternative options that are equipped with a full set. In the first case, it is important to advance the action by 25% after activating the ult, in the second - an additional increase in speed, acting as a replacement for the more popular Hackerspace set. |
Planar ornaments
| Set | Effect | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: Increases energy recovery rate by 5%. Increases damage dealt by allies of the same type as the wearer of the set by 10%. | Ideal for the Fool if she is in a party with a quantum element DPS character (Seele, Qingque, Xueyi etc.). Grants an increase in typical damage, which is not limited to moves - the bonus remains from the beginning to the end of the battle. |
| 2 parts: Increases resistance to effects by 10%. If the set carrier's resistance to the effects is greater than or equal to 30%, crit. The damage of all allies is increased by 10%. | Shares a high spot on the list with Penacony, as it offers an additional bonus to crit damage that will be extended to allies when the girl reaches 30% status resistance. A great option if she is acting as a support for characters of a different (non-quantum damage type) element. Gaining a fixed amount of resistance to effects is quite simple: Traces offer 10%, a full set of Broken Keel offers another 10%. The remaining 10% is gained by leveling up secondary characteristics in artifacts. | |
| 2 parts: Increases energy recovery speed by 5%. If the owner is not in first place in the team, the attack power of the character in first place increases by 12%. | A more versatile energy-restoring gear option, as it works not only in combination with quantum characters, but also with other elements. To effectively implement the attack power buff, you need to put the main DD first in the team, and the wearer of the set - in any remaining free slot. | |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases max. health reserve by 12%. If the wearer's speed is greater than or equal to 120, the attack power of all allies increases by an additional 8%. | A good alternative in case you don’t have the above presented sets of planar ornaments. Offers a bonus of 8% attack power to all allies. The only need is to get 120 speed. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases energy recovery rate by 5%. If the speed of the set carrier is higher than or equal to 120, then at the beginning of the battle his action moves forward by 40%. | By analogy with the set discussed below, it is considered a set that is equipped at the initial stages of mastering the game. Offers a small increase in the speed of energy recovery (the higher the indicator, the faster the ultimate skill will accumulate), additionally advances the action forward, which is useful for many representatives of the Path of Harmony who concentrate on applying bonuses from their main abilities immediately after entering battle. |
Team Guide for Sparkle in HSR
Sparkle's role in the team is a full-fledged support in the second or third position. Given the range of features and advantages of the Fool compared to other representatives of Harmony, one can come to the conclusion that she will be able to offer good synergy with many followers of damage-dealing Paths.
Which characters are suitable?
The table shows the heroes with whom the heroine plays best.
| Character | Path | Damage type | Features |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Aglaea benefits greatly from the buffs that the Fool spreads, as they complement her own kit very well. The heroine is able to perform frequent attacks thanks to the condition from the super ability, and the buffs to damage/crit damage and action advancement will greatly boost the demigod girl as a hyper-carry. |
![]() | ![]() | Castorice is a primary DPS character who relies on her Memosprite to deal damage. While the Death Servant doesn't require attack power, the Illusionist is able to buff her damage dealer in alternative ways, such as increasing crit damage and advancing the action by 50%, which will prove useful in any case. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Being a solo-target support, the heroine is a great match for Midei, who plays the role of the main damage dealer in the team. Due to the fact that the young man gets good increases to crit. chance during combat due to personal traces, the high bonus to crit. damage from "Dream Floater" will be an excellent acquisition. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Mainly acts as a secondary damage dealer, who "plays" from the ultimate skill and enhanced skill (also can apply the periodic damage status "Burn"). In cooperation with a more powerful DPS hero, he cannot actively consume action points, but the presence of a dunce can solve this problem. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | "Plays" from the super ability, the initial number of hits of which is 3 (max. number - 10). To maximize the damage from the ultimate ability, he is forced to use the skill every turn, which can become a problem if Misha is not the only damage dealer in the team. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The best representative of the quantum element, which effectively deals with single opponents. The bonuses offered by the considered Harmony will be extremely useful for the "Butterfly": an increase in critical damage and damage is a pleasant acquisition for any DPS character, and the action advancement is a good advantage that will only boost Seele in the position of the main damage dealer. Additionally, she will receive b from the supportоa greater increase in attack power due to the Nocturne Trace, since it has a similar type of damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The basis of the girl's damage is the piggy bank of space, whose blows are considered bonus attacks. The increase in critical damage from the skill of the Fool will increase the outgoing damage, and the advancement of the action will allow her to attack more often and, thus, accumulate energy faster to activate the ultimate that boosts Numby. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | In addition to imposing various debuffs on defense, attack power and speed, it can cause the enemy to be vulnerable to the damage type of one of the allies. The presence of the Fool, in turn, opens access to the creation of a full-fledged quantum team, which is not deprived of representatives of the Paths of Nihility, Harmony and Preservation/Abundance. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Deals good damage to the area and single targets, with an ultimate he improves the basic attack and skill - the damage from skills will be higher. The technique restores part of the team’s health, which can be useful during “closed” activities where it is impossible to use consumables. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | After accumulating level 2. “Syzygy” enters the “Spectral Transmigration” state, in which it deals increased damage with the skill and also receives an increase in crit. chance (third-party increases in critical damage become more priority). An important nuance is that enhanced attacks consume part of the allies’ HP: with Jingliu, representatives of the Path of Abundance become especially important. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | “Plays” on HP costs, thereby increasing the damage from basic skills, including superpowers. Every time a character takes damage or uses up his own health, he gains lvl. “Charge”: upon reaching level 5. the swordsman carries out a powerful bonus attack by region. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A hypercarry, who consumes a huge amount of skill points during a battle, is all the more valuable to him by support heroes who can restore them. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | In the normal state, it counterattacks enemies every time it receives damage; under the influence of a superpower, it additionally attacks when enemies concentrate blows on allies. Mainly acts as a “tank”, dealing acceptable solo and AoE damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Main/sub DD that deals damage to multiple targets and provides additional survivability due to the “Taunt” debuff. Focuses on constantly performing a counterattack using talent and ultimate when receiving incoming damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A budget damage dealer who consumes virtually no skill points during battle and primarily occupies a secondary slot. Needs a healer or shield worker - the damage increases in proportion to the HP expended: in order to inflict high damage, he is forced to maintain health at 50% or below. Like other DPS characters, he has a positive attitude towards various bonuses from “Harmony”. |
![]() | ![]() | An unusual representative of the Path of Destruction, which is collected through characteristics "break effect". Despite the path occupied, the main damage falls on single targets. To effectively break through the Fortitude bar, you must use a skill every turn, which makes it dependent on action points during battle. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Great support even for those characters that don't have summon mechanics (i.e. memosprite): Increases allies' critical damage, advances the action, and deals additional true-type damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | How a damage dealer benefits a lot from buffs — all the buffs provided by the Fool will make Feixiao's gameplay more comfortable and consistent. Especially useful is the action progression, as it will allow you to deal more damage, and therefore gain more charge "Flying Aureus". |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Dr. Ratio's main need is debuff: the more negative statuses affect the enemy, the more often his bonus attack from the talent is activated. However, the positive effects from Harmony will be no less useful. Especially the promotion of the action, which will allow you to perform additional strikes and therefore crush enemies faster. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Yanqing’s peculiarity lies in the Soulsteel Sync status: while this effect affects the character, he receives noticeable increases in combat characteristics such as crit. damage and crit. hit. In fact, the hero independently boosts himself during the battle, but third-party gains are welcomed by him in the same way as other damage dealers. |
![]() | ![]() | A free character who performs well even at the later stages of mastering the game, during the passage of high-level content. He has powerful skills and superpowers that allow him to quickly deal with single opponents. | |
![]() | ![]() | An equally attractive character of epic rarity, who effectively breaks through the physical resistance of opponents and inflicts acceptable damage. After activating the ultimate skill, it performs a second action, which is useful in protracted battles with bosses and other elite enemies. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The outstanding scientist deals devastating damage when using her enhanced skill and ult, and due to her mechanic's features, she needs another hero of the Path of Erudition. However, considering that she is also the core of the party, she will benefit from additional support from the Harmony character, as this will allow her to deal damage even more effectively. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The main feature of the general is the summoned Lightning Lord, which has its own turn in the battle cycle. Thanks to Jing Yuan's actions, the Lightning Lord increases the number of his strikes: he is able to quickly deal with ordinary enemies, as well as inflict a high percentage of damage on a single target. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A secondary DPS character who prefers to fight against groups of enemies: the number of opponents on the battlefield directly determines the rate of accumulation of charge levels, which allow you to perform bonus attacks. As a skill, assigns an allied character as a “Debt Collector,” which additionally increases his speed by 30. When Debt Collector makes an attack, it deals quantum damage equal to Jade's attack power to each enemy it hits. At the same time, the Debt Collector spends 2% of their max. HP. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | An unusual follower of the Path of Erudition, who has two types of superpowers: normal and enhanced. During battle, he increases his combat potential thanks to Traces, but does not shy away from representatives of the Path of Harmony - any bonuses that increase the knight’s effectiveness as a damage dealer are welcome. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The heroine of the fire element, who acts as a secondary DPS character. She has powerful skills and superpowers, and is also capable of striking out of turn thanks to her talent. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A free character whose eidolons can be obtained as a reward for completing Worlds Simulated Universe. Demonstrates itself perfectly during battles with crowds of enemies (especially effective within the framework of activity "Pure fiction"). Shows less attractive results against the boss. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Considered to be the epic counterpart to Jing Yuan. Mainly plays from the DoT status “Shock”, as well as a powerful ult that deals high area damage. Quickly deals with ordinary enemies, often taking the position of an additional damage dealer. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A powerful representative of the Path of Erudition, who is not inferior to Seele in terms of damage. Effective due to mass attacks, also good against single targets. It has a rather unique and unusual gameplay in general, based on the selection of “Jade Tiles”. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Delays the actions of opponents by imposing the negative status “Conclusion”. He has high AoE damage, which allows him to act as a main or secondary DPS character. |
![]() | ![]() | Is a debuffer that is aimed at supporting teams focused on depleting the enemy's stamina bar. Increases break effect, allows you to ignore vulnerabilities and further reduces the defense of enemies thanks to the negative status "Foxian Prayer". In addition, is capable of independently inflicting good damage with its ultimate and enhanced basic attack. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Mainly plays in teams with 2 heroes of the Path of Nihility – this is necessary to get the full buff from the "Abyss" rtace. The situation changes only with E2, which allows you to take one ally of Nihility and thereby frees up a slot for Harmony. However, it is worth noting that in practice, Sparkle is the only support that can at least partially compensate for the lack of bonus damage for Acheron E0. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A powerful representative of Nihility, whose skills are aimed at applying the Ashen Roast debuff (considered the “Burn” DoT status, which causes periodic damage of the fire type). Enemies affected by Ashen Roast take increased damage. The ult, in turn, inflicts a high level of damage and also imposes a third-party debuff that increases the damage taken by opponents from ultimate DPS-type skills. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Concentrates on applying the periodic damage status “Bleed”, additionally increases the damage received by the enemy and penetrates physical resistance well. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | “Fire” analogue of Luka: focused on the spread of “Burn”, it is also capable of triggering the negative effect “Fiery Kiss”, which slightly increases the % of damage received by the enemy. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | One of the best representatives of the Path of Nihility, which massively reduces defense. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Inflicts the Wind Shear status, which deals damage over time. The technique is capable of blinding enemies: when entering battle, their action will be delayed. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A universal representative of her path: she does not apply shields, like other followers of the Path of Preservation, but redirects most of the damage to herself, thereby protecting her allies. Passively heals and also offers crit boosts. chance and health. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Places shields and during the battle, renews them after activating his ult, as well as performing a bonus attack. Virtually no demands on skill points. In addition to providing protective functions, helps the team with damage. The perfect team for a character is the cooperation of several heroes who can perform bonus attacks. In other teams he is just as good, but performs bonus attacks a little less often. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A powerful shield fighter that can protect all allies from damage. Units with it often do not need healers, since with proper leveling and sufficient energy recovery, the commander of the Silvermane Guardians can maintain shields on a permanent basis. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Acts as a “tank” that concentrates the attention of enemies on herself. Unable to adequately support her party members: a weakly built team may need a healer. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Can act both as a defender and as a secondary damage dealer due to his predisposition to carry out counterattacks. The shield covers only one ally, and if his health is above 30%, his likelihood of being attacked by opponents increases. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A representative of the Path of Abundance, whose main feature is the ability to resurrect: she can resurrect a fallen ally once per battle (twice if there are 6 eidolons). Heals well with active skills, and also passively affects the improvement of the team’s survivability. The only downside is that it can’t remove debuffs. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Places a Magic Circle on the battlefield that restores allies' health every time they attack enemies. Additionally, he can act as a secondary DPS hero, dealing damage by activating his ult and basic attack. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | He is a universal support character: he not only heals, but also restores energy and increases attack power after using an ultimate skill. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A support with a variety of functions: heals, deals area damage and applies a debuff that increases damage from break. During combat, summons an assistant, which is a bonus attack. Due to this creature, it additionally heals, deals damage outside of the turn and removes debuffs. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | One of the best followers of the Path of Abundance for some heroes of “Preservation” and “Destruction”, since the skill can increase the chance of those being attacked. The main advantage as a support character, in turn, is that the ult removes debuff from all allies. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A unique representative of the healer path, whose healing depends on the negative status Besotted imposed on enemies. Attacks against opponents with this status restore health to allies. The skill set also includes an instant healing skill. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A free healer who restores health and removes various negative statuses through the use of a skill, and deals good damage with a basic attack. |
Best team samples
With the characters presented above, the following teams can be formed:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Quantum Team, supported by Fu Xuan, who redirects some damage to herself, heals, and provides increases to certain combat stats. Silver Wolf is responsible for applying debuffs, making the enemy vulnerable to the quantum element if necessary. |
![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | One of the strongest teams in the long term, where each of the support heroines complements each other, and the selected representative of the damage-dealing Path receives the maximum number of bonuses. The Fool affects the progress of the action, additionally increases critical damage and total damage. Ruan Mei - on the effectiveness of break, increases speed, and also gives an increase to outgoing DPS. Fu Xuan acts as a defender, capable of offering an additional increase in critical strike. However, if the prophetess is missing from the collection of heroes, she can be easily replaced with any other support of the Path of Abundance or Preservation. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A budget version of the quantum team, where Qingque or Xueyi occupy the position of the main DPS character. Lynx is the main healer (restores health both passively and actively, removes various debuffs, and if there are 4 eidolons, increases the attack power with her skill). |
![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae or Ratio is the core of the team, around which the team is built. Welt, as an imaginary representative of Nihility, is useful to both the first and second damage dealers due to the debuffs he spreads. Luocha helps with health recovery, and also deals additional damage through the use of a basic attack and ultimate. If desired, he can be replaced with Aventurine. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Jingliu is the main DPS hero, Blade as a supporting damage dealer offers good synergy to the swordswoman mentor (in the Spectral Transmigration state, the girl “devours” the health of allies, thereby helping Blade to accumulate charges for a bonus attack faster). The Blockhead takes turns buffing allies, while Lynx and Huohuo take their usual “healer” role. |
![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | In the case of Jingliu, the heroine will benefit greatly from increases in crit. damage. Yanqing, although he personally increases his basic combat characteristics through Empathic Connection, will not mind additional support from the outside. Huohuo not only restores HP, but also “fills” energy. Pela “cuts” the defense of enemies and also reduces the target’s ice resistance if there are 4 eidolons. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | Jing Yuan is a hypercarry supported by Sparkle and Yukong/Tingyun. Due to the Fool's abilities, Yukong will be able to constantly activate the Roaring Bowstring status, which is important for increasing crit. damage and crit. hit; Tingyun is good at restoring energy, and also increases the outgoing damage of her ultimate. Bailu is a healer who can resurrect (can be replaced with a healer who can remove debuffs). |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | An analogue of the above team, but Argenti acts as a hypercarry. Tingyun and Huohuo are the best support for the knight, since the characters can "fill" energy for the ultimate skill. However, in addition to the position of the second support, it is possible to consider Tribbie, who distributes mass buffs and herself does good damage in the area. |
![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Bonus attack team. Topaz increases the damage of this type of strikes/Tribbie total damage of the entire group, and the characters of the first position provoke attacks of Numby. Lynx is the best representative of the Path of Abundance in this case due to the status from the skill. However, Lingsha will also do, which, in addition to healing, stably carries out bonus attacks. |
![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | A team with Castorice, who summons a memosprite to destroy enemies. Tribbie or the MCspreads universal buffs, and the Fool helps with additional bonuses. Since Castorice also removes health and gets an even bigger damage boost for each point of HP lost by allies, having a healer with an active ability is important. | |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A team with the Herta that needs another Erudition character, as it significantly boosts not only her, but the rest of the team. The optimal addition to such a build would be a buffer/debuffer that spreads beneficial effects or weakens enemies. It is also worth noting that the legendary Herta values allies who can attack frequently and thus accumulate stacks of Interpretation, which means that similar units can be considered for the remaining support positions. For example, Lingsha not only heals well, but also actively deals damage with a bonus attack. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Blade effectively deals with elite opponents and bosses, who, in turn, have reduced defense due to Pela's skills. The master of theatrical art increases critical damage, advances action of the Stellaron hunter, and also helps in restoring skill points. Lynx constantly supports Blade: due to this status, the swordsman becomes a priority target for opponents, which speeds up the accumulation of charges for his bonus attack. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Acheron E2 team. If you have a 2nd eidolon on your team, you can only take 1 character from the Path of Nihility in order for the maximum buff from the “Abyss” trace to apply. Sparkle is one of the best support heroes that will significantly boost the Galaxy Ranger and other allies. The group can be effective with Acheron E0, but in this case the speed of the dunce should be at least 160 units, and it is also highly desirable to have its signature light cone and E2. |
Bronya or Sparkle - who is better? Character comparison
Since the legendary representatives have similar bonuses from their main skills, the question arises: is it so important to have Sparkle for an account if the character collection already includes the Supreme Guardian of Belobog? In order to better understand the advantages and disadvantages of each, it is worth considering the two heroines of Harmony in more detail in comparison with each other.
First of all, let’s outline the “pluses” of the distributed positive effects:
| Sparkle Bonuses (E0) | Bronya Bonuses (E0) |
| ATK: 15% with no duration limit (additional 45% if party consists exclusively of Quantum damage types). | ATK: 33-66% of ult, effect lasts 2 turns. Additionally, it can give an increase of 15% at the beginning of the battle if you activate the technique (the effect lasts 2 turns). |
|
Percentage bonus to outgoing damage: 9-22.5% due to the activation of the talent “Distraction”, the effect lasts 2 turns (during the battle - a constant effect due to the peculiarities of the talent). Additionally, it is capable of increasing the percentage increase by activating a ult (by 6-12% for each level of the “Cipher” status). The main advantage is that the bonus applies to all allies. |
Percentage bonus to outgoing damage: 33-82.5% thanks to the “Combat Redeployment” skill, the effect lasts 1 turn. The main drawback is that the bonus only applies to one ally chosen to use the skill. However, thanks to the trace, is able to maintain a constant positive effect on the increase in damage by 10% if the heroine is on the battlefield. |
| CRIT DMG: 90%+, provided that the critical damage rate is 200%. The effect lasts for 1 turn. | CRIT DMG: 50%+, provided that the critical damage indicator is 200%. The effect lasts for 2 turns. |
| Action Advance: 50%, that is, there is a chance that the character will not be able to take a turn again before the action of the previous opponent. | Action Advance: 100%. |
| Efficiency: 100% effective. The main bonuses affect not only the main DPS character of the team, but also other allies. There is no limitation on the duration of buffs. | Efficiency: Less effective in comparison, as most of the bonuses are focused on the main DPS character of the team (one hero). The rest are content with the rare increases from the ultimate. |
Regarding the total number of positive statuses:
- Sparkle (mono-quantum team) - 186% efficiency in the future.
- Bronya - 183% effective in the future.
- Sparkle (team with characters of different damage types) - 166% effectiveness in the future.
However, it is important to understand that the percentages presented above are “approximate” and depend on a number of specific factors that must be taken into account when comparing the two heroines, namely:
- During combat, Bronya maintains the bulk of her bonuses on one chosen character, which reduces her effectiveness when pitting the supreme guardian against a masked Fool. Simply put, if there are two damage-dealing Paths in the party, Bronya is like a Harmony heroine. will lose badly due to the fact that it cannot offer bonuses to attack power and outgoing damage to all party members.
- Sparkle only advances the action by 50%, while Bronya offers an instant action after using its own skill. However, the Masked Fool getsоlarger advantage in that she is able to restore such an important resource for turn-based combat as "skill points" on a permanent basis. In addition, their total number during the battle is increasing, which can significantly simplify combat with the enemy and, accordingly, offers more attractive variability in actions.
Is The Character Worth Pulling?
The Masked Fool is a versatile and unique character in the Path of Harmony who offers a variety of buffs to the party. Her main feature is a powerful recovery of skill points, as well as an increase in their total number. As a legendary heroine, the Fool is completely undemanding in terms of equipment.
Her Signature Light Cone or additional constellations will undoubtedly significantly enhance her "support" capabilities, but they are completely unnecessary for comfortable combat. Among the weapon "cards" you can find decent epic or rare options, and many cavern relics are perfectly worn in a 2x2 combination. If you have long needed a good support hero, the girl will cope with the task perfectly: thanks to her skills, she "covers" any needs for support and can thus provide a slot for either another damage dealer or a debuffer hero.
If the question arises, which character will be better combined with such “voracious” DPS heroes as Dan Heng: Imbibitor Lunae or Qingque, then the answer is obvious - it's Sparkle and only her. And again, the main advantage is the ability to restore skill points and offer an increased amount of them during the battle.
We hope our guide helped you put together the best build for Sparkle, one of the Fools in Honkai: Star Rail. Feel free to ask questions in comments, so that the author or other players can help you.
