How to start the Spark quest in KCD 2

To start the Spark side quest, first complete a few tasks:

Stulz intends to eliminate Chenek with the help of Indro. In the conversation, you can support the conspirator to increase your reputation, but this does not oblige anyone to kill.

Side with Chenek or Stulz

Before completing the main objective of the quest, you will have to decide whether to kill Chenek. Henry has three options:

• Support StulzTo do this, complete the optional task that appears and eliminate the leader.
• Support Chenek and hand over Stultz to him. At the end of the mission, you will learn that the Partnership eliminated the traitor, and he will no longer harm anyone.

Kill Chenek

If you still decide to kill Chenek, rewind time at 2-3 am. Go up to the second floor of the Hole Inn and go to the side room. Distract Stulz by throwing a rock and eliminate Chenek, then go complete the main objective of the mission.

Stultz often hangs around the leader - you can't eliminate the target in front of him. The traitor is still will call the guards, despite the fact that he himself issued the order.

Kill Stultz

Having told Chenek about the assassination attempt being prepared against him, you may want to eliminate the traitor yourself. Although such actions may be justified by the lore, gameplay-wise, they don't entail anything:

• It is not possible to talk to Chenek during the quest.
• All NPCs, including the leader himself, will become concerned about the murder and call the guards.
• At the end of the mission, nothing will change. The only minor difference is that Cenek will not mention that his siblings eliminated Stulz.

From the Hole, head south of the area to reach the forge, where you'll find Master Prokop.

Go to the village of Bohunovice, located in the north of the Kutná Hora region. In the large search area follow the north branch of the riverAt the crossing you will find a cart with sacks and several men.

Talk to the traveler in green clothes, this is who Eldris was talking about. You can get what you want without a fight in two ways:

• "They sent me from the camp" - Medium impression check. If successful, you will receive the key to the chest with the barrel.
• "I'll buy it from you" - Usik will offer a price of 500 groszy, but you can negotiate down to 450 if eloquence pumped in.

Get the key and loot the chest. You can take the barrel of gunpowder and other things, no one will notice the loss.

Take the barrel to the guys from the Partnership, to the adit

Having obtained the key item, all that remains is to take the barrel to the guys from the Fellowship. Move to Grunt, and from there move southwest. You will find members of the guild near the hut.

Talk to Goliath and tell him you brought the keg. You can learn about the plan or get straight to the point by choosing one of the lines:

• "I'll wait here with you." - will immediately rewind time to night.
• "I need to do something first." - will return Henry to the open world, you will need to talk to Goliath later, when it is late at night.

Place a keg of gunpowder in the adit

Goliath will explain the whole plan and send Henry to plant a keg of gunpowder in the adit. Follow your comrade to the entrance to the mine.

Before going down into the mine, you can save to get a rare achievement first.

For the trophy, kill the Goliath standing at the entrance to the mine - this will immediately lead to the failure of the mission. Return to the temporary camp, approach the pot and select the action "Throw the barrel into the fire".

The gunpowder will explode and Henry will die instantly, this death will unlock the trophy "The Gunpowder Plot".

Go back to the previous save and continue down the mine. Go to the first fork with a cart and turn into the right tunnel, which is not illuminated.
