In Genshin impact Perfumer Emilie is most often played as a secondary damage dealer in groups with Dendro reactions. In battle, she uses her abilities to summons a field, which periodically hits enemies with elemental damage, and also protects allies from Pyro, increasing their resistance.
Despite the fact that the girl is able to consistently apply elemental status in any team, she brings the greatest benefit when playing through Burning, since in this case she shows the highest damage. For this reason, one of her best allies will be Kinich the Saurian Hunter, who plays with similar mechanics.

History (biography)

Emilie is the most popular perfumer in Court of Fontaine. She has her own shop in the city, where many customers constantly flock to buy various fragrances. The girl's products are so famous that customers often gather at the store at four in the morning to get in line and have the time to buy a new product.
In addition to perfumery, her deep knowledge of chemistry and high sensitivity to smells allow her to have a second job. The girl is a forensic cleaner who cleans up crime scenes, leaving no trace of them. In some cases, she manages to find evidence that was not noticed before, as well as learn more information about the criminal. However, almost no one knows about her second profession, since she tries to protect herself and her shop from the revenge of suspects in crimes.

Extra Stats For Leveling
Emilie's main characteristic, the value of which increases with the level, is critical damage. In addition to this stat, the values of health, attack power and defense also increase. The exact values of the characteristics can be seen in the table below:
| Level | Base HP | Basic attack | Base DEF | Critical Damage% |
| 1 | 1056 | 26 | 57 | 0% |
| 20 | 2740 | 68 | 147 | 0% |
| 40 | 5455 | 135 | 294 | 0% |
| 50 | 7016 | 173 | 378 | 9.6% |
| 60 | 8802 | 217 | 474 | 19.2% |
| 70 | 10381 | 256 | 559 | 19.2% |
| 80 | 11971 | 295 | 644 | 28.8% |
| 90 | 13568 | 335 | 730 | 38.4% |
If the character is fully levelled, the maximum amount of Crit Damage, without taking into account her weapons and artifacts, is equal to 88.4%.
Skills
Character uses her elemental skill to place a Dendro construct that attacks enemies, and also absorbs Aromas from burning enemies, increasing its damage. Elemental Burst of the heroine performs the same function as the skill, only it hits harder and has higher multipliers. At the same time, without the sixth constellation, she practically does not use normal attacks.
Basic (Active) Skills
Shadow-Hunting Spear
Source of damage: ATK.
Normal attack: performs up to four spear strikes.
Charged Attack: spends stamina and performs a more powerful upward spear attack.
Plunging Attack: falls to the ground and attacks in an area after landing.
Fragrance Extraction
Cooldown: 14 seconds
Lumidouce Case Duration: 22 seconds
Source of damage: ATK.
Emilie creates a Lumidouce Case that attacksin an area with Dendro damage.
Lumidouce Case:
- Periodically uses the Puffs of Puredew and attacks enemies with Dendro.
- If nearby enemies have the Burning status, the Case absorbs the Scents emanating from them. One aroma can be absorbed once every 1 seconds. After absorbing 2 Scents, the level of the Case increases. A case with an increased level releases one more Puff of Puredew, and its damage and attack area also increases.
- Only one Lumidouce Case can exist in battle at a time. Initially, it has 1 level, which can be increased to 2. If within 8 sec. it does not absorb any Scent, its level returns to XNUMX.
Arkhe: Pneuma — after creating the Lumidouce Case, the Spiritbreath Thorn periodically appears, causing Pneuma-aligned Dendro DMG.
Aromatic Explication
Duration: 2.8 seconds
Cooldown: 13.5 seconds
Enegry consumption: 50.
Source of damage: ATK.
Puts off an existing Case to create a new level 3 Lumidouce Case. Unlike the previous one, it does not collect Scents, but constantly attacks enemies with Scented Dew, dealing elemental damage. 1 drop of Scented Dew can appear once every 0.3 seconds, and each enemy can be targeted by dew once every 0.7 seconds. After the elemental burst time expires, a level 1 Lumidouce Case is created on the field. If there was already a Case on the field that was delayed by the ultimate, it is used with the updated duration.
While the elemental burst is in effect, the elemental skill is not able to create a new Case.
Passive Skills
Headspace Capture
When the Lumidouce Case is on the battlefield, Pyro resistance to Burn damage of all squad members is increased by 85%.
Lingering Fragrance
After collecting 2 Scents, the second level Lumidouce Case will consume them and release the Cleardew Cologne, which deals Dendro damage equal to 600% of the attack power in an area. The damage of the Cleardew Cologne does not count as damage from the E.
Rectification
Damage to enemies with the Burning status increases by 15% for every 1000 attack power. The maximum increase that can be obtained this way cannot exceed 36%.
To achieve maximum gain, 2400 attack power is required.
Talent Leveling Order
E (Elemental Skill) = Q (Elemental Burst) > Normal Attacks (optional)
Since the heroine is a secondary damage dealer in the team, dealing most of the damage from off-field with the help of the Lumidouce Case, first of all you need to maximize those abilities that are used more often:
- They are both her elemental skill и Elemental burst. It is recommended to leve them up side by side, since one of them deals stable constant damage for a long time, and the second is aimed at quickly dealing a large amount at once.
- Normal attacks are nor used, they should be upgraded only if you have the sixth constellation.
Constellations
| Name | Effects |
| 1. Light Fragrance Leaching | Increases damage of Elemental Skill and Cleardew Cologne by 20%. When allies cause Burning or deal Dendro damage, an additional 1 Scent is generated every 2.9 seconds. |
| 2. Lakelight Top Note | Elemental skill, elemental burst, or Cleardew Cologne reduce Dendro resistance of affected enemies by 30% for 10 sec. |
| 3. Exquisite Essence | Increases elemental skill level by 3. Max. level: 15. |
| 4. Lumidouce Heart Note | Increases the duration of the elemental burst by 2 sec., and also reduces the attack interval by 0.3 sec. |
| 5. Puredew Aroma | Increases elemental burst level by 3. Max. level: 15. |
| 6. Marcotte Sillage |
When activating an elemental skill or elemental burst, she gains Abiding Fragrance for 5 seconds. While this effect is active, her normal and charged attacks generate 1 Scent, gain an irreversible elemental infusion, and their damage is increased by 300% of ATK. The Abiding Fragrance effect disappears after 4 created Scents or after 5 seconds, and can appear again after 12 seconds. |
Best constellations of Emilie are С1, С2 and С4.
- The first constellationis the best option for the character. Not only it increases damage from the elemental skill and passive, but also allows you to gain stacks of Scents faster, quickly transferring the Lumidouce Case to the second level and summoning the Cleardew Cologne more often.
- The second constellationreduces enemy elemental resistance, allowing you to significantly lower their resistances if you additionally use the Deepwood Memories set. Works especially well in a squad with a Dendro damage dealer.
- The fourth constellationincreases the duration of the ult and allows her to attack more often. The additional personal damage of the perfumer will significantly affect the overall damage of the group and reduce its energy requirements.
How to play Emilie

Emilie's abilities are quite simple. The gameplay consists of constantly pressing her elemental skill, and there are no gaps in its work, which allows you to keep it constantly active. Separately, it is worth paying attention to the mechanics of the ult, which postpones the Lumidouce Case from the skill. It works as follows:
- When a Level 1 or 2 Case already exists on the field, the ult removes it and places a Level 3 Case in its place. In this case, the level of the previous construct is remembered, and after the elemental burst fades, an updated Case of the same level as it was at the time the ult was activated is placed on the field.
If the heroine has enough energy recovery, this mechanic allows her to have a level 2 Case active on the battlefield almost all the time. To do this, it is recommended to press her ult shortly before the skill fades, so that its duration is subsequently refreshed.
Rotation
Skill Order: Supports > E (elemental skill) > Main-DD > Q (elemental burst)
Detailed analysis of rotation:
- Use your supports' abilities to distribute buffs, Swirls, or shields.
- Switch to the perfumer and place a Lumidouce Case via E, and also activate Burning over the status applied by supports.
- Switch to your main damage dealer and attack while the buffs are active.
- Use Elemental Burst just before Lumidouce Case's duration ends to deal damage and refresh its duration.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Having sorted out the skill set, let's take a closer look at Emilie's main pros and cons before building her:
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Is a convenient sub-dd, playing off the reaction of Burning. With her skills gives a lot of elemental status, allowing to keep the reaction constantly active. | Can play as an applicator, but greatly sags in damage without Burning, since her skills are too dependent on this reaction. In terms of the quantity and quality of elemental status, the heroine is approximately on par with Collei or Dendro Traveler, but much weaker than Nahida. |
| Has no gaps in using her elemental skill. The cooldown of the Lumidouce Case is 8 seconds - shorter than its duration, and this makes it possible to practically not sag in damage due to the lack of Dendro status. | Despite playing through Burning, the heroine herself does not in any way enhance this reaction. Unlike, for example, Chevreuse, who is a specialized buffer, the heroine is only a sub-DD with a priority on Burning. To fully unlock her potential, you need a main-DD or a buffer of this reaction, which is not yet in the game. |
| Her key constellations are the first ones. They are not critical, but they significantly increase her damage, and they are relatively easy to obtain. For those who like to collect consts in moderate quantities for their characters, it can be called a profitable investment. |
Leveling
In the following part of our guide we will list all the materials that are needed to upgrade the heroine and her talents to the maximum level.
Ascension
To ascend, you will need the following resources:
- Slivers, fragments, chunks and gemstones of Nagadus Emerald - can be obtained after defeating world or weekly bosses, used to ascend Dendro heroes.
- Meshing gear, Mechanical Spur Gear, Artificed Dynamic Gear - dropped by meks and specialist meks.
- Fragment of a Golden Melody - dropped by the boss Legatus Golem .
- Lakelight Lily - Fontaine specialty that can be found in the Erinnyes Forest.
- 420 000 Mora and 421 Hero's Wit.
Talents
To upgrade talents, you will need the following materials:
- Teachings, guides and philosophies of Order - talent books from Fontaine that can be obtained in the dungeon Pale Forgotten Glory в Wednesday, Saturday и Sunday.
- Meshing gear, Mechanical Spur Gear, Artificed Dynamic Gear - dropped by meks and specialist meks.
- Silken Feather - rare material dropped by the weekly boss The Knave.
- Crown of Insight - an item for leveling talents up to 10.
- 1 653 000 Mora.
Best Builds for Emilie
She is a secondary damage dealer whose main job is to apply elemental status and deal damage from the pocket to support the main DD. At the same time, all her abilities depend on ATK, and her personal damage increases after triggering the Burning reaction.
Based on her abilities, the build for Emilie should have a sufficient amount of attack power to activate the Rectification passive. It also requires Crit DMG и Crit Rate. It is recommended to choose a Dendro goblet and ATK clock. Energy recharge is gained with secondary stats.
Let's mention Elemental Masteryseparately. Despite the fact that the heroine is a Dendro character, she does not need EM in most cases due to the game through Burning. This characteristic can only be collected if the heroine is in the squad that uses other reactions, but keep in mind that such gameplay will significantly affect her personal damage.
Recommended Stats
So, the following stats should be looked for in artifacts:
| Artifact | Main characteristic | Additional stats |
|---|---|---|
![]() | HP (fixed) | Attack Power% CRIT DMG CRIT Rate Energy recharge |
![]() | Attack Power (fixed) | Attack Power% CRIT DMG CRIT Rate Energy recharge |
![]() | Attack Power% | CRIT DMG CRIT Rate Energy recharge |
![]() | Dendro Damage Bonus% | Attack Power% CRIT DMG CRIT Rate Energy recharge |
![]() | CRIT DMG CRIT Rate | Attack Power% CRIT Rate/DMG Energy recharge |
Recommended values:
- ATK: 2400 to get maximum gain from the Rectification passive.
- Critical Chance and Critical Damage should be gained in a ratio of 1:2. In this case, it is desirable to gain at least 70-75% of Crit Rate. Also consider that after full leveling the character has 88.4% of her own Crit DMG.
- Energy recharge: approximately 130%-160%.
Best Weapons
The weapon should complement the stats obtained with the artifacts. In this case, Crit Rate/Dmg or ATK options are chosen. You can also use a spear for energy recovery, but in this case, this characteristic does not need to be looked for in artifacts.
A list of all the best weapons is shown below:
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base stat: 46-608 CRIT Rate: 7.2%-33% | Increases ATK by 15%-31%. When the wearer triggers a Burning reaction or attacks burning enemies with Dendro damage, their damage dealt is increased by 18%-38% for 8 sec. The effect stacks up to 2 times. As soon as 2 levels have been obtained or their duration has been updated, the wielder receives 12-16 energy. The effect can trigger once every 12 seconds, even when the character is in the pocket. | Emilie's signature weapon. It's perfect for her, both with a high base and crit chance that complements her personal crit boost. The weapon's passive grants extra energy, and also only works when playing through Burning. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base stat: 49-741 ATK: 3.6%-16.5% | Increases damage with all elements by 12%-24%. After activating an elemental skill, it grants the Consummation effect for 20 seconds, during which attack power increases by 3.2%-6.4% per second. The effect stacks up to 6 times and works even when the wielder is in the pocket. | An excellent spear that grants maximum possible amount of ATK and increases elemental damage. If this weapon is chosen, it is recommended to pay more attention to crits in artifacts, rather than ATK. It is considered top-2 after the signature weapon. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base stat: 46-608 CRIT DMG: 14.4%-66.2% | Increases max. character's health by 20%-40%. Increases attack power by 0.8%-1.6% of the HP value. When the wielder's health drops below 50%, their attack power increases by an additional 1%-1.8% of their HP. | Allows you to take a crit. chance circle. Despite the fact that the ATK depends on health, there is no point in looking for this characteristic in artifacts. Also, the heroine often plays in squads where reactions or abilities reduce HP, so without a healer, she is able to activate the second part of the passive. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base stat: 46-608 Energy recharge: 12%-55.1% | Increases ATK by 28%-56% of any energy recovery above 100%. Maximum gain that can be obtained this way is 80%-120%. Additionally increases energy recovery by 30%-50% for 12 sec. after activating an elemental burst. | A good option if you need to press the ult as often as possible in your rotation. However, since the character does not need too much energy recovery, it will not be possible to take the maximum bonus from the passive. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base stat: 41-454 CRIT Rate: 8%-36.8% | When there are more than two enemies nearby, attack power and defense increase by 16%-32%. When there are less than two enemies nearby, attack power increases by 24%-48%. | A great weapon that gives a lot of Crit Rate and ATK depending on the amount of enemies nearby. Since this is a spear from the Battle Pass, it is only worth using if you already have it on your account. It is not worth taking it on purpose. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base stat: 44-565 ATK: 6%-27.6% | Increases ATK by 7%-11%, and crit. chance by 3%-7% for each Liyue ally in the squad. | The spear can be given to the perfumer if there are at least 1-2 characters from Liyue in the party. If you plan to play with allies from other regions, you should ignore the spear. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base stat: 42-510 ATK: 9%-41.3% | After triggering a reaction, increases attack power by 12%-24%, and elemental mastery by 48-96 for 10 sec. | The spear could be obtained in patch 3.1. A great free option that gives ATK as both a primary stat and after triggering reactions. Elemental Mastery is useful if she's playing in a group without Burning. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base stat: 44-565 ATK: 6%-27.6% | When the wielder is healed or heals other, they receive a Unity's Symbol that stacks up to 30 times. After activating their E or ult, all Symbols are spent and the Struggle effect is granted for 3 seconds. Struggle increases attack power by 3%-7%, and elemental damage by 7%-13% for each Symbol. The effect triggers once every 15 sec. and even from the pocket. | Suitable for a squad with a healer with stable healing for the entire squad to apply Symbols of Unity. The spear provides a lot of ATK and allows you to focus on Crit Rate/Dmg. |
![]() ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 44-565 Energy recharge: 6,6-30,6% | When activating an elemental skill, increases attack power for 10 sec. by 20-40% and movement speed by 10%. | An event spear from 5.4. Very useful when exploring the open world, in combat provides useful attack power and energy recovery stats. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Base stat: 44-565 Elemental Mastery: 24-110 | Increases E-damage by 6%-12%. After hitting an enemy with an elemental skill, the weapon's owner spends 3 energy, but restores 3-5 energy every 2 sec. for 6 sec. The effect occurs once every 10 seconds. | Crafted spear from Inazuma. Increases damage from the elemental skill that the heroine uses most often, and also allows you to activate her ult more often. Elemental Mastery is only useful when playing with Electro characters, and is not needed in other situations. |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 44–565 Elemental Mastery: 24–110 | Elemental Reactions with Dendro create a Leaf of Revival that lasts 10 seconds next to the character. The Leaf increases the attack power of the hero who picks it up by 16-32% for 12 seconds. Any character from the squad can pick up the Leaf of Revival. The effect does not trigger more than once every 1 seconds. | It has a support function and at high awakenings it can strengthen the main DD of the squad, increasing their ATK value. However, it is worth considering that the personal damage of the perfumer will suffer significantly when using this spear. |
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Base stat: 41-454 Elemental Mastery: 48-221 | Grants a 20-36% increase to damage against enemies afflicted byHydro or Pyro status. | During the reaction of Burning, enemies have a permanent Pyro status, so the weapon's passive will work non-stop. However, Elemental Mastery is not needed in the Burning teams, so the spear should only be taken if there are no alternatives and at maximum awakening. |
Best Artifacts
Like weapons, artifacts for Emilie should grant her important stats, such as attack power or elemental bonus. Weapons with general affixes for all damage inflicted are also useful.
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 2 Piece: Increases ATK by 18%. 4 Piece: The character's damage is increased by 50% for 3 sec. after leaving the battlefield. If there are no enemies with Burning nearby within 6 sec., the hero loses 10% damage per second. If there are enemies with Burning nearby, the damage increases back to 50% with the speed of 10% per second. The effect works even if the character is in the pocket. | Best set for Emilie. Gives ATK and also increases all her damage as she maintains a stable Burning reaction nearby. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 2 Piece: Increases Dendro's damage by 15%. 4 Piece: Reduces enemies' resistance to the Dendro element by 30% for 8 sec. after being hit by an elemental skill or ult. | The second good set that increases Dendro damage. The bonus from the full set works similarly to the heroine's second constellation, and also stacks well with it. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 2 Piece: Increases elemental skill damage by 20%. 4 Piece: Increases elemental skill damage by 25%. When the carrier is in the pocket, the E-shki's damage increases by another 25%. The effect disappears after 2 seconds. after entering battle. | Not a bad option for maximizing damage from the skill, but requires good stats to compensate for the ult damage decrease. |
![]() Deepwood Memories | 2 Piece: Increases ATK by 18%. 2 Piece: Increases ATK by 18%. 2 Piece: Increases Dendro's damage by 15%. | A 2+2 set where you can combine two pieces from attack power sets or add an elemental damage bonus. Doesn't provide additional passive buffs, but the extra stats are also useful. |
![]() ![]() Golden Troupe | 2 Piece: Increases Dendro's damage by 15%. 2 Piece: Increases elemental skill damage by 20%. | Another 2+2 mix for Dendro damage and E-damage. Can be used if you have good pieces of different sets. If desired, parts for elemental damage can be changed to ATK pieces. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | 2 Piece: Increases elemental mastery by 80. 4 Piece: Calling a reaction increases allies' elemental mastery by 120. for 8 sec. | Even though the character doesn't need MC, the buff on allies can be quite useful, especially when playing through Melt or Steam from Burn. |
Teams
The heroine is a secondary damage dealer who increases her own damage after triggering a Burning reaction nearby. Her skill absorbs the Scents emitted by enemies and increases the area of effect, power, and frequency of use. For this reason, Emilie's teams should contain Pyro and Dendro characters who can constantly maintain Burning on enemies.
- In addition to pure Burning, she can be part of squads with combined reaction triggers. Since Burning gives a stable Pyro status on enemies, this allows you toadd a Cryo or Hydro main damage dealer to the team, who can cause a Melt or Vaporize reaction over Burning.
- It is worth considering the possibility of acting as an applicator for Quicken or Blooming. The heroine does not apply too much of her own elemental status and loses most of the damage without Burning. She can play in these teams provided that there are not enough heroes of a similar role on the account, and she also needs additional support from another Dendro character.
Best Characters
The tables below list all the characters she is able to team up with. For convenience, they are divided by their roles in the group. Note that there are currently no full-fledged allies for her in the game, and almost all characters have more advantageous builds.
Damage dealers
Heroes that deal most of the damage in a team:
| Character | Element | Weapon | Effects |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Works as a second sub-DD in a team with Burning, strengthening the main damage dealer with the help of a passive ability, as well as for the role of main-DD. |
![]() | ![]() | The Pyro Spearwoman deals damage to enemies with infused normal and charged attacks. Plays with the Bond of Life mechanic. Doesn't receive healing, so play her with extreme caution. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Main-DD, attacks from afar with charged bow shots. Thanks to his passive, increases own damage when hitting enemies with Pyro status, which can be maintained with the help of Burning. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Pyro Catalyst, uses bombs and charged attacks in close-range combat. She often plays in roasting squads, so she does well with Burning. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Despite the fact that Hu Tao plays mainly through Vaporize or Melt, she can perform well in Burning or Burgeon. A healer is needed in the squad to support her during her constant waste of HP. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Deals Pyro damage from the pocket via his ult. After Guoba summoned by E disappears, he leaves a pepper on the battlefield that increases attack power by 10% for 15 sec. Any squad member can pick it up for a buff. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Can play as a stance main DD via the ult, and apply Pyro status with her E. A good option for a Pyro sub-DD if there is no possibility to add a more powerful Xiangling. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Hydro damage dealer that plays off powerful charged attacks. With Emilie, he can easily activate his passive, which depends on reactions. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Using his elemental skill, activates a stance, during which changes the principle of normal attacks and deals a lot of Hydro damage. Capable of causing Vaporize over Burning. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Hydro main DD with strong instant damage from the ult if it was performed over Pyro. Has a huge amount of elemental status, which is why he plays well in Burgeon. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A character that plays from Blooming exclusively in squads with Dendro and Hydro characters. The Perfumer in her squad will lose personal damage, but will give elemental status if there are no alternatives. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Attacks in an area with Cryo damage using charged attacks from a distance. Her Ultimate gives a lot of Cryo status, and her skill attracts enemies to itself. Will be able to attack with increased damage thanks to Melt. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Melee damage dealer that spends HP and deals increased ice damage. Requires a good balance around 50-60% HP, which is why a good healer is needed. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Dendro main DD, uses his elemental skill, plays through Burning and Burgeon. Perfect partner for Emilie, but in this case it is better to give the heroine the Deepwood Memories set to cut resistances. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Dendro damage dealer who shows his best in Quicken teams. However, in a squad with the heroine, he can participate in triggering Burning or Burgeon, and also give an additional Dendro status. |
![]() | ![]() | Increases elemental mastery and gives additional elemental status. Although the perfumer does not need EM, it can be useful for the main DD of the team. | |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Dendro damage dealer obtained in the standard banner, has a dynamic fighting style. Due to the fact that he usually keeps distance from enemies, it is easier for him to avoid the Burning status on himself and maintain high HP level. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Electro main DD that uses normal attacks and converts all healing into Bond of Life. Will gain Dendro status for Electro reactions. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Damage dealer playing off elemental burst. Since the perfumer's E has a long effect, she is able to consistently grant him elemental status if there are no other hero options for the squad. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A standard Electro character who uses infused charged attacks. As Cyno, can be teamed up with the heroine if there are no alternatives. |
Supports
Support heroes that provide healing, shields or useful buffs for the squad:
| Character | Element | Weapon | Effects |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Hydro healer, increases elemental skill damage that works from the pocket, and this is exactly what the heroine's skill is. Due to the weak Hydro status, will not interrupt the reaction of Burning. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Another Hydro healer, who, unlike Sigewinne, grants noticeably more Hydro status and is more suitable as a driver for the Burgeon teams. Can also wear the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers set to increase ATK. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | The best shielder, reducing the elemental resistance of nearby enemies. Can deal a lot of damage with his elemental burst. Despite the fact that the heroine better works with healers, not shielders, he is still useful. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A versatile support character that creates an area that heals and buffs allies. It has a short cooldown of his E, able to act as a battery and a source of Pyro status for reactions. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Pyro shielder, boosts his own shields with extra stacks. If there are constellations, strengthens allies, but only plays fully with those main DDs who regularly use normal attacks. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Universal Dendro support, combining the skills of a healer and a shielder. Will increase Burning damage through his passive ability. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Budget counterpart of Baizhu, capable of healing allies and adding Dendro status through rabbit attacks. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Dendro shielder that increases the durability of her shields after colliding with opponents. Her Ultimate deals damage in an area. |
Top Teams
Based on the abilities and element of the perfumer, the following variations of squads can be arranged for her:
- Burning groups - these are the teams made of Pyro and Dendro characters. In addition to them, the team may have a Hydro or Cryo damage dealer, which causes a different reaction over the Pyro status from Burning (Vaporize or Melt).
- Hyperbloom and Quicken groups - these teams include Electro, Dendro and Hydro characters interacting with each other. Note that in this case, the perfumer plays much worse than in the previous version, due to the lack of an increase in personal damage.
Burning Teams
Teams that use Burning in their rotation:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Perfect and most powerful Burning team for Emilie, has Dendro and Pyro Resonances. The team includes two sub-DDs, a buffer-healer and a main-DD, who combines skills well with the main damage dealer Kinich. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A weaker version of the Kinich/Emilie team. This team does less damage due to the Pyro characters having almost no damage-dealing abilities. However, it can be used if your other Fire heroes are busy in other groups. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Burning team with Arlecchino, who does most of the damage. Kazuha Swirls Pyro status, and Bennett increases the squad's attack power. Emilie should keep her skill active and use her elemental burst on cooldown. You should be careful when playing with this team, as Bennett will not be able to heal Arlecchino. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() | The core of the group are Klee and Emilie, who trigger Burning and deal damage. Dendro healer helps them with their status. Kazuha absorbs Pyro and Swirls it, dealing additional damage and pulling enemies. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() | A group without Anemo Swirl, deals damage over Pyro status. For convenience, the damage dealer can be given the Lavawalker. For the last slot you can use Xiangling for damage or Thoma for shields. Dehya will be the golden mean between them, since she both deals and absorbs damage. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Burgeon team with Hu Tao, who causes Burning along with Emilie and also explodes the blooms. Hydro sub-dd triggers the resonance together with the healer and provides stable Hydro status. Due to her own abilities and Burning reaction, Hu Tao will be able to fully lose HP, despite the presence of a healer. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Group with Alhaitham via Burgeon and Burning. The party's gameplay relies on Pyro and Hydro sub-DD elemental bursts, so they need to get more energy recovery. Alhaitham attacks with normal and charged attacks and grants additional status. |
![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Another squad with a Dendro damage dealer, but this time through full Burning. For the party to work, all characters must activate their elemental bursts, and Emilie must place the Lumidouce Case. After this, most of the damage is dealt by Alhaitham or Tighnari. |
![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A party with two elemental resonances. Although Nahida has an elemental mastery-oriented playstyle and is not fully utilized in this team, she can still be picked due to her stable Pyro status. |
![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Vaporize, Burgeon and Burning team, where the Hydro DD must deal status damage over Burning. Note that the Anemo hero must absorb Pyro to successfully apply the status. |
![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | The group works similarly to the previous one, but instead of Vaporize, Melt is triggered in this case. Emilie can additionally be given the Instructor set to increase EM of her allies. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | F2P squad with Amber as the main damage dealer. Xiangling gives Pyro status and a lot of damage, the second Dendro sub-dd helps Emilie. Amber should use charged attacks and Explosive Puppet. |
Alternative Teams
Examples of groups with reactions other than Burning and Burgeon:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |

![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() | Nilou group with Blooming. In this case, Emilie will not receive increased damage, but will give an elemental status for blooms created by Nilou's skill. Any second sub-DD can be placed in the last slot to apply status. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Quicken team with Alhaitham. Both Emilie and main DD apply Dendro status, and also cause Quicken over Electro applied by both support and sub DD. Fischl or Yae Miko deal damage and restore energy. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Neuvillette squad that uses various reactions with Hydro, Dendro and Electro. Kuki heals the group and deals damage, and also explodes the blooms created by Neuvillette and Emilie. Zhongli is needed to create shields. |
![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Almost the same team as the previous one, but with Electro damage. You can use either Baizhu or Yaoyao in the support character's place, as they both give a good amount of Dendro status. In the last slot, either an additional Dendro sub-dd or Fischl is placed to restore energy. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | Quicken/Blooming Group made of free characters. Emilie grants Dendro status for Lisa. Barbara can wear the Tales, as well as heal the party and apply Hydro. Lynette absorbs Hydro or Electro for reactions. |
Is the Character Worth Pulling?

Emilie is a legendary secondary damage dealer who plays off her elemental skill and ultimate, which deal Dendro damage from the pocket. As a sub-DD, she does her job well, attacking opponents and inflicting elemental status on them. The heroine only depends on attack power and crits, so she has a fairly simple build that even a beginner can afford.
Despite her convenience, Emilie is best played only in Burning squads. She can take the position of an applicator in other types of squads, but in this case she loses most of her damage and is easily replaced even with epic heroes. In addition, despite playing through Burning, the perfumer does not buff this reaction in any way, so it still remains one of the weakest in the game. At the moment, she plays best only with Kinich, but if you want, you can try to team her up with other damage dealers. Nevertheless, with them she will play worse than with a DD specializing in her reaction.
Which is better: Signature or C1?
The girl has a useful signature weapon and the first constellation, but if you have to choose, it is worth giving preference to C1. This constellation not only increases the character's damage, but also allows you to quickly transfer the Lumidouce Case to a higher level and attack more often with the Cleardew Cologne due to the more frequent accumulation of Scents.
Emilie's signature is quite strong, but there are many alternatives that can replace it. You should only choose the signature if you have nothing else to equip the heroine with or you already have C1.
We hope this guide helped you create the best Emilie build in Genshin Impact and make her a reliable assistant in clearing difficult content. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in comments. Stay tuned for new builds on our website.
