In HSR, Yunli, being a 5⭐ character, is able to take one of two roles in the team - a main DPS hero, or a secondary one. This is due to the fact that the swordswoman has a bonus-hit mechanic in her skill set: talent "Flashforge" allows you to carry out a counterattackevery time the enemies aim to cause any damage to the girl.
Thus, the girl from Xianzhou Zhuming becomes an excellent ally for hyper-carry with similar functionality in skills. At the same time, she can lead the squad as a solo damage dealer, especially in the presence of signature supports with a lower value of "Taunt". The guide includes all the named "nuances" and allows you to realize the heroine to the maximum within the framework of endgame content.

The Heroine's Story
The swordswoman from Zhuming Xianzhou is a rather straightforward and courageous girl who is skilled in close combat. She was born and lives on one of the space star skiffs, one of the six flagships of the Alliance. She was taught how to wield a sword by the Flaming Heart, aka General Huaiyan, to whom the girl is a granddaughter.
Thanks to her grandfather's instructions and her own perseverance, she quickly became the youngest swordswoman of the "Flamewheel Octet". However, martial arts are not the girl's only interest - she sincerely hates the cursed swords that began to spread to Zhuming, so she promised herself that she would definitely find each one and destroy it.
You can learn more about the young warrior's story in the companion mission “Swords to Plowshares”.
How to Get the Character

Yunli can be obtained in the limited-time "Event Warp: Character" called "Earth Hurled, Ether Curled."
In order not to miss the next Yunli rerun, follow the constantly updated banner schedule.
Features
As you level up, you develop basic stats such as HP, ATK, and defense. Speed and Taunt are constant stats, meaning they don't change as you level up.
Below in the table you can see the exact values of each parameter depending on the current level of the character.
| Level | Health | ATK | DEF | Speed | Taunt |

How skills work
The Swordswoman's skills focus on deflecting enemy attacks and then dealing physical DPS, which scales with attack power (ATK). The main source of damage is her ult, which inflicts the "Parry" status and allows the most powerful attack to be performed. During combat, the swordswoman wants to receive as many incoming hits as possible in order to constantly counterattack and recharge her energy.
Active skills
Posterior Precedence Technique || Enhancement
Using the technique gives the effect of "Ward" for 20 seconds. If during this effect the heroine attacks an enemy or receives a counterattack, she will immediately use the skill "Intuit: Cull" on a random enemy with 80% increased DPS.
Basic Attack "Galespin Summersault" || Single Strike
Deals physical damage to the target enemy equal to 50-100%.
Skill "Bladeborne Quake" || Explosion
Restores health equal to 20-30% of ATK + 50-200. Then deals physical damage to the selected enemy equal to 60-120% of attack power, and to adjacent targets - 30-60% of attack power.
Super Ability "Earthbind, Etherbreak" || Strengthening
Consumes 120 energy out of 240 and gains the Parry status, while also inflicting Taunt on all enemies. These effects last until the end of the ally's or enemy's next turn. The next counterattack's CD is increased by 60-100%.
- If the girl is attacked during "Parry", the counterattack "Intuit: Cull" is triggered, dealing 132-220% physical damage to the enemy and 66-110% to nearby targets. Then 6 additional hits are triggered, dealing 43,2%-72% physical damage to a random enemy target. After this, the status is removed.
- If the heroine is not attacked during the effect of "Parry", then after the effect ends, she immediately performs a counterattack "Intuition: Slash", which deals physical DPS equal to 132-220%, and 66-110% to adjacent targets.
The damage dealt by the attacks in question is considered ult damage.
Passive Skills
Talent "Flashforge" || Explosion
When Yunli takes damage from an enemy, she immediately recovers 15 energy and performs a counterattack on them, dealing 60-120% physical damage and 30-60% to nearby enemies. If there are no targets to counterattack, this attack is performed on a random enemy.
Leveling Order
Ultimate > talent = skill > basic attack
It is recommended to upgrade skills in the following order:
- Ultimate - This is the majority of the character's damage output thanks to the enhanced counterattack "Intuit: Cull".
- Talent и skill - Primary damage outside of the ult. The talent has a higher priority, since it does not depend on speed and works much more often.
- Basic attack practically not used, except in situations where you need to restore skill points. For this reason, it is leveled up last or left at the initial level.
Traces
Total percentage increase to characteristics:
- attack power - 28%;
- HP (health) - 18%;
- Crit chance - 6.7%.
| Attack power +4% (lvl.1) | |||
| Fiery Wheel: Every time an Intuit: Slash counterattack is activated, the next Intuit: Slash down will automatically become an Intuit: Cull. | HP +4% (A2) | Attack Power +4% (A3) | Crit chance +2,7% (A3) |
| Demon Quell: Parry status allows you to avoid the resulting control effect and reduces damage received by 20%. | Attack Power +6% (A4) | HP +6% (A5) | Attack Power +6% (A5) |
| True Sunder: When performing a counterstrike, Yunli's attack power increases by 30% for 1 turn. | Crit chance +4% (A6) | HP +8% (lvl 75) | Attack power +8% (lvl. 80) |
Eidolons

All consts:
| 1 | Weathered Blade Does Not Sully | The damage dealt by counterattacks “Intuit: Cull” and “Intuit: Slash” increases by 20%. In addition, the number of additional hits of Intuit: Cull increases by 3. |
| 2 | First Luster Breaks Dawn | When performing a counterattack, 20% of the enemy target's defense is ignored. |
| 3 | Mastlength Twirls Mountweight | Superpower level +2. Max. — 15. Basic attack level +1. Max. - 10. |
| 4 | Artisan's Ironsong | When performing counterattacks "Intuit: Cull" or "Intuit: Slash", resistance to effects increases by 50% for 1 turn. |
| 5 | Blade of Old Outlasts All | Skill level + 2. Max. — 15. Talent level +2. Max. - 15. |
| 6 | Walk in Blade, Talk in Zither | If the enemy performs any action during the Parry status, the counterattack "Intuit: Cull" is triggered, regardless of whether the enemy hits the heroine or not, after which the status is removed. When "Intuit: Cull" or "Intuit: Slash" deals damage, the critical chance increases by 15%, and the physical resistance break by 20%. |
The best Yunli eidolons are the first, second and sixth:
- E1 - a nice const that increases counterattacks during super ability, which is the heroine's key source of DPS. In addition, the number of additional hits increases from 6 to 9.
- E2 - Lowers the defense of opponents when the girl hits them with a counterattack. This is a noticeable increase in the final damage, since the defense cut is one of the highest multipliers in the game.
- E6 - a strong eiodolon that allows you to use the counterattack "Intuit: Cull" even if the enemy does not attack. In addition, when activating any counterattacks during the ultimate, crit increases. chance and breaking through physical resistance.
For F2P players, we recommend choosing the second eidolon.
How to Play Yunli in HSR

The heroine's gameplay is quite simple, but to effectively use the superpower, you still need to take into account certain points. The fact is that most of the DPS comes from the counterattack "Intuit: Cull", and for it to work, you need to be attacked in the "Parry" status, which exists until the end of the next turn of an ally or enemy. Therefore, you need to use the ultimate before the enemy's turn to take damage and activate an enhanced counterattack.
To better understand the optimal sequence of actions within a battle, we will provide more detailed recommendations for Yunli rotation:
- Before the start of the battle, you can use the character’s technique so that the powerful counterattack “Intuit: Cull” immediately works. Please note that in this case, the opponents must attack first.
- When it's the girl's turn, depending on the current amount of skill points and the role in the squad, the priority is given to the skill or the basic attack. However, most often the skill will be a priority due to the greater energy recharge and the cumulative high damage to several targets.
- Most of the time, the heroine simply counterattacks thanks to the talent triggering. Thus, she restores a decent amount of energy and deals damage outside of her turn, constantly dealing additional DPS.
- When the super ability is charged, do not rush to activate it. Look at the order of actions and use the ultimate before the enemy's action or, if several enemies are moving at once, before the one you want to inflict maximum damage on.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Let's take a closer look at the strengths and weaknesses of the Fire Wheel Octet swordswoman.
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Has high damage against single targets and groups of enemies. Shows well in Forgotten Hall, Apocalyptic Shadow и Pure fiction. Although in the latter mode it is especially important to constantly distract enemies and receive attacks. | The key source of damage is the enhanced counterattack "Intuit: Cull". This, in turn, means that the damage dealt depends on the amount of energy received during the battle and the frequency of using the super ability. |
| Fairly easy to build, as counterattacks mean it doesn't need high speed to consistently deal DPS. Additionally, the ult gives a 100% boost to crit dmg, allowing you to focus on other stats. | The counterattack "Intuit: Cull" only works when enemies attack the heroine in the "Parry" status (at least until E6). For this reason, she will not work well if the enemies initially take action slowly or rarely attack. |
| Provides additional survivability to allies due to "Taunt" and deals damage outside of her turn, effectively acting as a secondary DD. At the same time, with the appropriate build, she is capable of taking the position of hyper-carry. | Outside of her ult, she can't cast Taunt on enemies, but it's still important for her to constantly take damage to activate counters. To solve this, you'll need to knock out a signature cone or play in a squad with Lynx (Abundance: Quantum). |
| Economical in terms of skill point spending, since speed is not required to perform key functions. Consequently, the final consumption of skill points becomes small, which allows the team to even sometimes come out "in the black". | The only option for self-healing is skill, and Yunli mostly plays at low speed, which makes it difficult to activate the skill in time, therefore, allies with healing are desirable in the squad. |
| Undemanding to the presence of eidolons. Among the consts there are none that would have a serious impact on the gameplay. They are mainly aimed at increasing DPS or survivability, which is nothing more than a pleasant bonus. |
Best Yunli Builds in Honkai: Star Rail

The Swordswoman is capable of performing the functions of a main/secondary DD and tank, that is, a character who distracts the attention of enemies and takes incoming blows. Her gameplay is based on the constant use of counterattack, which is triggered when receiving enemy techniques, allows you to damage outside your turn and protect allies.
The most important characteristics when creating a Yunli build in HSR:
- ATK и physical damage — key indicators on which the DPS inflicted by all the heroine’s abilities directly depends.
- CRIT Rate и CRIT DMG - another way to increase strength. However, crit rate is preferable, since it is contained only in traces (6.7%), while crit dmg is increased by the signature, ult and some Harmony supports.
We will separately analyze the following characteristics:
- Speed in boots is less beneficial than attack power. This is because most of the energy comes from incoming damage, and extra turns will not generate enough energy to compensate for the loss in DPS.
- Energy recharge on a link rope may be more useful in certain scenarios.
Recommended Stats
Priority of main stats:
| Head | HP (fixed) |
| Hands | Attack Power (fixed) |
| Body | Crit chance > crit. damage |
| Boots | Attack Power > Speed |
| Planar Sphere | Physical Damage > Attack Power |
| Link Rope | Attack Power > Energy Recovery |
Recommended secondary (lower) stats:
- crits;
- attack power (flat and %);
- HP, defense and effect resistance are optional.
The final values of the characteristics that it is desirable to have on the character:
- ATK — 3+;
- HP — 3+;
- defense — 800-900+
- CRIT Rate — 80-90% and more;
- CRIT DMG - 100-120%+.
- speed - 94+.
Light Cone Rating

When choosing weapons, give preference to Path of Destruction "cards" that increase attack power and critical indicators. In addition, the boost for bonus attack and the increase in the chance of receiving an enemy hit are useful.
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 26-582 DEF 21-463 | Significantly increases the chance of being attacked, as well as crit. damage by 36-60%. After using the superpower, it gives 1 level of Fire Dance status, which lasts 2 turns and can be stacked up to 2 times. Each stack gained increases the damage dealt by a bonus attack by 36-60%. | Yunli's Signature Light Cone is the best choice due to the fact that it provides useful crit buffs. damage and increased damage caused by a bonus attack. However, first of all, weapons stand out by increasing the likelihood of receiving an enemy attack, which is important for the heroine, especially without the presence of Lynx. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 57-1270 ATK 26-582 DEF 15-330 | Crit chance increases by 18-30%, and max. HP - on 18-30%. When the wearer is attacked or expends health, the damage they deal is increased by 24-40%. This effect is removed after the owner uses an attack. | Another worthy option with an equally significant bonus in the form of crit. chance. Since the swordswoman strives to constantly be under attack from the enemy and achieves this with the help of Taunt (basic and from the ult), she is quite capable of activating and maintaining a passive effect. And the increase in HP is also useful. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-396 | When performing a strike, the attack power increases by 8-16%. This effect can stack up to 4 times. When the owner breaks through an enemy's vulnerability, the damage dealt increases by 12-24% for 2 turns. | Free cone of Hertha shops. Significantly increases attack power up to 64% at R5 at max. the number of stacks, as well as all the damage when breaking through the vulnerability. Activation of the second effect depends on the presence of physical. enemies have weaknesses, but if the requirement is met, Yunli will be able to often break when a counterattack is triggered. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 21-476 DEF 15-330 | ATK is increased by 16-32%. After defeating an enemy, crit. chance increases by 12-24% for 3 turns. | “Card” with pleasant bonuses in the form of attack power and crit. chance. The passive effect is quite simple to implement, since Yunli often finishes off small targets with counterattacks during a battle with a group of enemies. But at the same time, the second part cannot be activated if, for example, the boss does not have summoned creatures. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 52-1164 ATK 26-582 DEF 18-396 | ATK is increased by 24-40%. After defeating an enemy or when the enemy attacks the owner, the character immediately recovers HP equal to 8-12% on the strength of the attack. In addition, the owner's damage is increased by 24-40% until the end of the next turn. The effect does not stack and can only trigger once per turn. | An excellent weapon that increases attack power, survivability and damage. Since Yunli often takes damage, she will greatly benefit from additional healing. She can also effectively use the damage buff due to her bonus attack. The only problem is the lack of crits, which makes balancing stats difficult. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 21-476 DEF 12-264 | When a character uses a basic attack, skill or superpower, he gains 1 level. "Mischief" status. Each level of the named effect increases the owner's attack power by 12-24%. | An epic light cone with a comfortable passive effect that does not require specific conditions or rotation. It is enough to use a skill, ult or basic strike during the battle to accumulate stacks and thereby increase the attack power. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 21-476 DEF 12-264 | Maximum health is increased by 12-24%. When the owner loses or restores HP, his critical damage increases by 18-36% for 2 turns. This effect can only occur once per turn. | A good option for increasing survivability due to the increase in health. In addition, if HP decreases, critical damage will increase, which is possible thanks to Taunt. In most cases, the second part of the passive is activated, but the main drawback of the weapon is that health does not give anything except density. Please note that this cone is never used when played with the heroes of Preservation. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 43-952 ATK 24-529 DEF 12-264 | ATK is increased by 24-48%. When the wearer defeats an opponent, he recovers HP equal to 12-24% of his attack power. | Until there are no alternatives, the cone from the Battle Pass will do. Attack power is useful under any circumstances, and it is given constantly. As for the second part of the passive, you won’t always be able to activate it, and besides HP regen, nothing is offered. This can be useful for extra survivability, but it still won't work against some bosses and elites. |
What relics and artifacts are needed
If we consider artifacts, the most optimal options will be sets or combinations of sets that increase ATK, crit rate and dmg, as well as the effectiveness of superpowers and bonus attacks.
Cavern relics
| The set is | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. 4 parts: Increases crit. 6% chance. After performing a bonus attack, super damage is increased by 36% for 1 turn. | The best choice among relics for Yunli, since most of her damage is dealt by her super ability, and she makes a bonus attack on a constant basis under optimal conditions. Additional bonuses to attack power and crit. chance are also in great demand. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases bonus attack damage by 20%. 4 parts: When performing a bonus attack, the attack power increases by 6% each time the bonus attack deals damage. The effect can stack up to 8 times and lasts 3 turns. The effect is removed the next time you perform a bonus attack. | An excellent option aimed at enhancing the bonus attack. In addition, the passive effect greatly increases attack power, which is another incomparable advantage. However, in most cases, only Intuit: Havoc while the superpower is active will allow you to reach the maximum number of stacks. |
![]() ![]() | 2 parts: Increases bonus attack damage by 20%. 2 parts: Increases physical damage by 10%. | An optimal combination that provides increased bonus attack and increased physical damage, which directly affects the damage dealt to Yunli. If you have the right stats, this option can be successfully used until you can collect the full Valorous set. |
![]() ![]() | 2 parts: Increases bonus attack damage by 20%. 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. | If necessary, the increase in physical damage can be replaced by attack power, which will be no less important, since all the heroine’s skills scale from this characteristic. The difference with the previous option is insignificant, so give preference to the combination with the best lower parameters. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases damage dealt to enemies with Debuffs by 12%. 4 parts: Increases crit. chance by 4%. The owner's damage dealt to enemies with at least 2/3 debuffs increases by 8%/12% respectively. After the owner applies a Debuff to an enemy, the above effects are increased by 100% for 1 turn. | A strong set that increases all damage dealt. However, in order to get max. increase to crit. damage, you need to constantly apply debuffs to your opponents. Yunli can only weaken enemies with the Taunt contained in her superpower, which is why it is recommended to add Path of Nihility supports to her team. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases max. HP by 12%. 4 parts: When the owner receives an attack or when an ally consumes his HP, crit. The wearer's chance increases by 8% for 2 turns. The effect can stack up to 2 times. | A set that increases survivability by increasing health and crit. chance. To get crits, it is enough to be attacked or lose health, which Yunli can cope with due to its specificity. However, the overall utility of the set depends on the value of crit rate. If you already have more than 80% of this parameter outside of combat, it is better to give preference to other sets. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases physical damage by 10%. 4 parts: Increases attack power by 5% after casting or receiving an attack. The effect stacks up to 5 times. | If there is a leveled set physical set with good stats in stock, you can use it for a while or on an ongoing basis if you don’t want to waste trailblazing energy. In any case, nice buffs are offered here in the form of physical damage, as well as attack power when the character attacks or is under attack. |
Planar ornaments
| The set is | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 parts: When an ally performs a bonus attack, the owner gains 1 lvl. Merit status, up to max. Level 5 Each level of this status increases the owner's bonus attack damage by 5%. When the Merit status reaches level 5, crit. The character's damage is additionally increased by 25%. | The best ornaments in terms of maximizing DPS due to its bonus attack and crit boost. damage. Although it will take some time to accumulate the maximum number of stacks, and this depends on several factors: the number of enemies, the duration of the battle and the presence of allies with a bonus attack. For these reasons, the set may lead or lose to Salsotto. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases crit. 8% chance. If critical chance is greater than or equal to 50%, then the damage of superpowers and bonus attacks increases by 15%. | The most stable option, especially if you lack crit. chance. Equally important, the set increases the damage of the superpower and bonus hit, which are the main source of damage dealt by the character. Please note that the 15% buff is not given twice for Intuit: Cull and Intuit: Slash counters, even though they count as both bonus attacks and an ultimate. |
![]() | 2 parts: Crit chance increases by 4%. Defeating an enemy increases crit. damage by 4%. The effect can stack up to 10 times. | Narrowly targeted but quite powerful ornaments, suitable for content or modes where it is necessary to fight several waves of opponents. For example, it can be used effectively to complete Pure Fiction. In this case, the set will perform better than Salsotto. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases crit. 8% chance. If critical the chance is 70% or more, basic attack and skill damage is increased by 20%. | It will mainly be used for an additional increase in crit. chance if Salsotto is missing. Increasing the damage of a basic attack and skill can be useful, but in fact, the final DPS has little effect on this, especially since the heroine is not initially aimed at taking frequent actions. |
![]() | 2 parts: Increases attack power by 12%. At a speed of 120 or more is given an additional bonus to attack power in the form of 12%. | Typically, Yunli's speed will be below 120, making it impossible to fully activate the passive effect. However, if you still use high-speed boots, the set will partially compensate for the loss in attack power. |
Yunli Team Guide in HSR
In the team, Yunli plays the role of a damage dealer, capable of taking the leading position, secondary or tank. Considering that the swordswoman wants to constantly take hits, it is advisable to place her next to supports with high "Taunt", so that if something happens, she will be subject to mass attacks.
Which characters are suitable?
The table shows heroes that have good synergy with the representative of Destruction.
| Character | Damage Path and Type | Features |
|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Great support even for those characters that don't have summon mechanics (i.e. memosprite): Increases allies' critical damage, advances the action, and deals additional true-type damage. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | The Arbiter General excels at dealing with large enemies, relying on the bonus attack that comes with her talent, skill, and ultimate. She synergizes best with heroes that can deal additional damage, allowing her to charge up "Flying Aureus" for the Ultimate. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Places a debuff on the enemy that increases the damage from the bonus attack, thanks to which Yunli is very well strengthened. She herself can act as a main DD or sub DD, as she has her own good damage, but only against single targets. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | The main damage dealer who plays from a bonus attack. Highly values allies who can apply debuffs. Yunli's ultimate casts Taunt on all enemies, which is not only a debuff, but also a kind of additional bonus protection. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | It is important for Yanqin to avoid taking damage for the Soulsteel Sync effect to work. For this reason, having characters on the team that distract the attention of enemies is very valuable in combination with him. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Despite belonging to the damage dealing path, he has a useful skill for the squad. With his skill, he applies a buff that offers bonuses depending on the ally’s Path. In particular, Yunli will be able to apply additional damage due to this. damage. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Concentrated on dealing massive quantum damage with abilities and bonus attacks. Can make an ally a skill “Debt Collector”, which increases his speed and allows him to deal additional damage during the battle. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Allows the selected ally to immediately perform an action, increases crit. damage, attack power, total damage and protection due to the trace. Can act as support for Yunli's hypercarry. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Spreads effective buffs when using the super ability, which can be restored by her and her allies due to the third trace. For this reason, as a rule, she is placed in a squad with damage dealers who attack multiple targets. Yunli meets this requirement, provided that she consistently carries out her counterattacks. In turn, Tribbie becomes even more useful to the swordswoman with E1. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | An ideal buffer for characters who specialize in bonus attacks. For this reason, Xianzhou will become one of the best partners for the swordsman from Zhuming Xianzhou in any situation. Increases damage dealt, crit. damage and attack power, and also damages itself when teammates hit enemies. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Universal support character: combines well not only with heroes who summon independent combat creatures to the battle arena, but also with other representatives of damage-dealing Paths. Increases crit. chance and crit. damage, advances the action by 100%, is a support that is undemanding to skill points, restores energy, and also comprehensively increases outgoing damage. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | An equally excellent support for Yunli. Advances action by 50%, increases attack power and all DPS. In addition to this, it restores skill points for the team and increases their maximum number. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Has a superpower that not only increases the overall damage of one hero, but also restores some energy. This will allow Yunli to easily equip a link rope for attack power and not have problems with the ultimate. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | An approachable yet useful support character. Grants bonuses to attack power when accumulating charges from the talent, and with its superpower it increases the speed of all allies, providing an advantage to the entire group. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Free representative of the Path of Harmony. Increases crit. damage, crit. chance and attack power. However, for the buffs to have a stable effect, you need to constantly update the Roaring Bowstring status with the skill. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | In the same way as Sparkle, she generates skill points, but due to the special status of Nosh, which she imposes on opponents with a skill. The ultimate increases the speed and attack power of one selected ally. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | One of the best heroes belonging to the Path of Nihility. Provides a variety of debuffs that make life difficult for enemy units, making the team stronger in return. Key bonuses - giving an enemy the same type of weakness as a random ally's element, and protection cut. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | A powerful representative of Nihility, whose skills are aimed at applying the Ashen Roast debuff (considered the “Burn” DoT status, which causes periodic damage of the fire type). Enemies affected by Ashen Roast take increased damage. The ult, in turn, inflicts a high level of damage and also imposes a third-party debuff that increases the damage taken by opponents from ultimate DPS-type skills. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Focuses on removing a skill buff from one enemy and lowering the defense of all targets with a super ability. At the same time, due to the first trace, the damage dealt to targets with debuffs increases. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Since Yunli is under the pressure of enemy attacks most of the time, she will need a shield that will protect her from fatal blows. At the same time, Aventurine interacts well with those who play from a bonus attack. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | An excellent representative of her Path. Although she does not create shields, she can transfer some of the damage her allies receive to herself. In addition, the superpower restores some health to all teammates. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Places a shield on one character, who has a higher chance of becoming the next enemy target. This creates very good synergy between March 7 and Yunli, who wants to constantly be attacked to trigger a counter. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | A healer who offers not only stable healing throughout the battle, but also bonuses in the form of increased attack power and energy recovery, which is quite valuable. All this makes Huohuo one of the best supports for the healer slot. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Doesn't offer buffs, but his healing method is great for Yunli as it heals, including when using a bonus attack (meaning it's beneficial for greater survivability). In addition, the ultimate removes one buff from all enemies. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | The dragon lady copes with her task as a healer at the proper level, and is also capable of resurrecting once per battle. Her only drawback is that she cannot remove debuffs from allied characters. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Along with Huohuo, it is the optimal choice for the healer position. Moreover, its demand increases even more if Yunli does not have a signature weapon. This is due to the fact that without a sign, only Lynx can use a skill to increase the chance of being attacked. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | A support with a variety of functions: heals, deals area damage and applies a debuff that increases damage from break. During combat, summons an assistant, which is a bonus attack. Due to this creature, it additionally heals, deals damage outside of the turn and removes debuffs. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Just a good healer who effectively restores health with a skill or due to the “Besotted” status. This status is also a debuff that increases break damage the target receives. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() | Free heroine for completing Belobog's story. Healing skills are concentrated in a skill that affects one ally, and a superpower that applies to all heroes. |
Best team samples
With the characters presented earlier, the following examples of squads can be created:
| Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |
|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | Some of the best supports for a swordswoman as a hyper-carry are Robin, who provides a high DPS boost, including from her bonus attack, and Sparkle, who can push the action and restore skill points. Both also increase Crit dmg and ATK. Huohuo or Lynx are ideal for the healer slot. The first will provide an additional increase in attack power and help restore energy, and the second will be very beneficial due to the skill. |
![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A strong combination of top-tier supports: Robin, Huohuo, and Sunday. In such a team, the swordswoman should definitely have no problems with either energy or buffs. Bronya is another legendary support that can be used to gain bonuses to crit damage, attack power, and damage dealt. However, like Sparkle, it advances the action, but at 100%. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | A more budget build. Tingyun is the only buffer, but it is very popular not only due to the increase in damage and attack power, but also due to the energy recovery from the ult. Despite the fact that Pela does not directly strengthen allies, she effectively weakens enemy defense with her super ability, which is why more damage goes through them. |
![]() ![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() ![]() | Team through bonus attack. First of all, it is recommended to consider Topaz as a support DD, since she increases the damage received by enemies from this type of attacks and deals good damage herself. For a battle against single targets, Feixiao/Dr. Ratio are suitable as the main DD. For example, Aventurine is used as a full support, capable of applying a debuff, creating shields and independently dealing damage with a bonus attack. Another option is Lingsha or Gallagher, who similarly have debuffs and deal relatively good damage, but specialize in healing, not shields. |
![]() | ![]() | ![]() ![]() | ![]() ![]() | A squad with Jingliu, who is the main damage dealer. Considering that I am able "Spectral Transmigration" - it absorbs the health of allies, there must be a healer who can maintain the survivability of the entire group. Luocha, who heals passively when making attacks, will cope with this task, but he can also be replaced by Bailu. Bronya or the Remembrance MC are good for the buffer position. |
Is The Character Worth Pulling?

Yunli is a Path of Destruction character with a physical element type. Specializes in taking incoming damage and constantly launching counterattacks against multiple targets. Thanks to high damage figures, simplicity and effectiveness, she can occupy the position of a primary or secondary damage dealer. At the same time, she is easy to build - the highest priority characteristics are attack power and crits, and the rest is rather optional.
The key drawbacks include dependence on enemy behavior. For example, if enemies walk slowly or do not attack at all, the heroine is effectively deprived of her main source of DPS and becomes of little use. In addition, outside of the ult, she cannot cast Taunt, which partly forces her to play either with a signature cone or with the healer Lynx. Nevertheless, in situations where everything is going well, the swordswoman shows herself very well.
The unit is worth pulling for if you need a character that has a physical type of damage, and is also flexible enough in terms of the role they occupy and is relevant both against a group of enemies and single targets. The girl's play style does not require much involvement in the process, in addition to using superpowers, and the counterattack mechanics allow you to enter almost any team composition. The only thing is if you already have a well-leveled Clara (Destruction: Physical), especially with Eidolons and Signature, then a swordswoman from Zhuming will offer practically nothing new, except that she will be more in demand against elite monsters and bosses.
Which is better: signature or E1
Signature Cone is more advantageous in most cases not so much due to the increased crit dmg and bonus attack, but due to the increased chance of the wearer being attacked. The heroine is heavily dependent on receiving incoming hits that activate her counterattacks, and the weapon provides just such a bonus.
We hope our guide helped you put together the best build for Yunli, the swordswoman from Zhuming Xianzhou in Honkai: Star Rail. Feel free to ask questions in comments, so that the author or other players can help you.
