Snezhnaya — the seventh region, located north of Nod's End. This area is subject to severe frosts and constant snowstorms, making exploration more difficult. Genshin Impact Snezhnaya is not easy to open: unlike some other parts TeyvatAccess to the kingdom is limited, but you can get to the region through the story, through the "Quick Start" function, or independently from Nod-End.
Where is Snezhnaya?
On the in-game map of Cryo, the region is located northeast of Nod-Krai (the area on the top right, if you focus on Ash Cliffs).
How to get to Snezhnaya in Genshin Impact
There are two quick ways to reach the Ice Kingdom: through the story campaign and via a travel point that is unlocked only after completing the prologue.
If none of these options are suitable, you can try to reach the snowy tundra on your own. However, this requires open Nod-Kray.
According to the plot
When you complete Chapter 10 "Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana", you will automatically gain access to the next quest - the introductory chapter of the seventh volume "Merciless Frost".
Teleport to the Special District Research Institute or the False Moon Institute dungeon with the first weekly boss, Dottore. From here, descend to the coast and continue along the rocks and remnants of the northeast direction.
Via teleport using Quick Start
For players who haven't completed Volume 6 yet "Song of the Welkin Moon", the "Quick Start" feature will be available. To use it, you need to:
- have 18th adventure rank or higher;
- complete the Archon Quest Prologue "Song of the Dragon and Freedom".
Then you can proceed to the first teleportation point of the Werewolf Tundra, from where you can begin exploring the snowy expanses and progress through the new storyline.
Is it possible to get there by water?
You can only open the Cryo Region on your own, without completing the story or using the Quick Start, through the Nod-Krayevsky "corridor" from the Fatui research center. False Moon InstituteIt's impossible to get there by water—the approaches are blocked by the map's borders.
