How to Increase Character Bonding in Neverness to Everness

You'll find all your companions in a special section of the menu, but you can only level up your affection with those you've already acquired. Accumulate affection points with the heroes you frequently use in your party: at level 10, you'll receive a stat buff and a beautiful, memorable customization.

Give gifts

The main way to influence Bond Level is through gifts: Send up to three souvenirs to one hero and up to ten per day in total. To get maximum points, be mindful of the specific items you gift:

  • Favourites - are the souvenirs that the heroes like most.
  • Normal - are those that do not fall into the category of Favourites and give minimal points.
  • Universal - are the items that any character might like.

The latter includes “A Handwritten Letter” worth 2,000 points (it can be given beyond the daily limit), as well as “Floe Cinema Ticket” and “Fluffy Cotton” for 400 points.

Where to get gifts for characters

You can get items for espers in markets and other activities:

  • in the in-game store in the sections Gift Center и "Fair Exchange" purchase "A Handwritten Letter";
  • You'll find souvenirs of varying rarities in city shops: for example, in the Tofu Shigezu restaurant or the used electronics store of Mister Brown - choose the items that have the following in their description: "Gift";
  • anomaly furniture "Compressed Boom Boom Cloud" Creates one Fluffy Cotton every 72 hours.

We recommend distributing your favorite gifts among your heroes to more effectively improve your relationships with them. Collect souvenirs for Warp Pieces as needed, and be more careful when spending Rift Crystals.

Improve your life skills

If you level up your esper's life skills, you'll receive bonuses to Bond levels:

Level bonus
1 If the Bond level is 4 or lower, gifts give 5% more affection.
2 If the Bond level is 5 or lower, gifts give an additional 5% more affection.
3 If the Bond level is 6 or lower, gifts give an additional 5% more affection.
4 If the Bond level is 7 or lower, gifts give an additional 5% more affection.
5 If the Bond level is 8 or lower, gifts give an additional 5% more affection.

Use interactive and single actions

In the second tab of the Bond section, you can participate in shared activities with your companion; the first time you use them, you'll earn affection points. Some activities require you to meet certain conditions, such as placing the appropriate furniture.

Invite to move in

Using City Tycoon, buy real estate (available from level 5), after that, on the left side of the screen, you will find a section with an offer to move in together.

Click the "plus" icon and invite a character from the list. Remember, you need to reach level 4 affection and have the hero on your account before you can do so.

You can change the heroes of the house: click on the card of the chosen one and choose "leave" in the lower right corner. They will move out of the apartment immediately, freeing up the slot for someone else.

Go on dates

Another daily option for upgrading your connection is City walks. Go to the appropriate section and launch the activity.

The meeting point will be marked on the map. Get there, purchase tickets or a pass, and invite the esper.

Then spend some time with them, watching a short cutscene. You can control your view during the process to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the walk.

Depending on your level of affection, visit different places:

Bond level Place
4 Spectacular communication - watching a movie at the Floe cinema.
6 Ferris Wheel - A date on a Ferris wheel.
8 Budoriya - Meeting at the Noodle Shop.

For walks you will earn 200 affection points.

You can only go on a date with one character per day.

Complete special missions

Visit the Theater of Memories together and learn more about your chosen one. You'll find this opportunity in the "Interact" tab. However, to unlock a special pastime, you will need to meet certain conditions.

Once you've met all the requirements, start the mission: it will be marked on the map and in your quests. You'll earn 50 Affection points for it. Afterward, you can meet the hero again, but without a reward.

Reply to private messages

Chatting via messages will help you accept additional bonding missions. Tap the phone icon at the bottom of the screen and check your available messages. If your bond level is low, a window with requirements will appear.

Relationship-building tasks are marked with a heart icon: select the response on your smartphone and complete the task.

Complete orders in Swift Travel

Take Swift Travel requests: if you find the right character, you can earn extra points.

Then click on the souvenir and read the description. At the end, you'll find the "Source" section with the information about the ways of receiving it. Click the arrow to go to the desired section or see a marker on the map.

What does the character relationship system provide?

Increasing Bond levels allows you to get to know your character better and unlock additional quests. Reaching level 10 unlocks a home costume, a bonus to stats (attack, defense, etc.), and a profile card. Additionally, for each level you receive:

  • Annulith;
  • Senior/Elite Hunter's Guide;
  • chaotic Dye;
  • Beetle Coin;
  • Dreamless Seeds;
  • home decor;
  • stickers and avatars.

The set of decorations and cosmetics depends on the Esper. Some have special items as prizes, for example, Mint has an office key. We recommend checking out the interactive map and buy gifts in various city shops in New Helios.

It's strange, of course, that Persians' favorite gifts give fewer points than regular ones.
For example, Hotori's favorite gifts give 100 points of affection, although if you give her a figurine from the store, it gives 200 points.
And Baikang's favorite gifts are worth 400, I don't understand anything)))

Okay, I figured it out myself—some gifts give 400, and they don't necessarily have to be "purple" or "gold." For example, Hotori gets 400 points from a golden moon, even though it's blue.

Where can I get a ticket to the Flow Cinema? Are there any options for getting one before the event launches on May 13, 2026?
