The role-playing game, which was released back in 2018, is still popular and differs from others in scale by as much as 870 square meters. In any situation the player can go anywhere, no matter where he is. This opens up almost limitless possibilities for sandbox exploration. Well, to look into every corner of the world, it will take more than a dozen hours.
With a map, navigation in a huge game is greatly simplified.. Moreover, the point is not only in the location of certain objects, but also in the display of all biomes (separate areas with a characteristic relief), zones, territories of factions and cities.
Interactive map with all locations
The easiest way to navigate the world of Kenshi is with an interactive map. With its help, you can explore in detail each region and find all the cities and towns. By clicking on the icon in the upper right corner, you can set the filter and display certain objects on the map:
- Leave a clean map.
- Select a specific area.
- Show all cities or towns.
- Display simple ruins or library ruins.
- Highlight mines, garrisons and bases.
In the left menu there is a button "open in full screen". Use this function if you want to take a screenshot of the map or study the path to a specific building in more detail.
Full map
The general map displays the entire world of Kenshi. It has markers that indicate the location of cities, small settlements, stations, mines, ruins, laboratories, bases and much more. Referring to the image above, you can navigate from anywhere in the game world.
Map of zones with borders
This is the same picture as in the previous paragraph, but with the designation of the names of all gaming zones and with clearly defined boundaries. If the player knows the names of areas in English, then this image will help to find the required binomial or zone only by name. For example, if a gamer is in an area called Dreg, they know that there is nothing on the left, and the Fog Islands biome on the right.
Russified map of regions
For those who play the game in Russian, there is a corresponding map. It was compiled a little worse than the English version due to the lower resolution and the lack of clear boundaries, but even if something is not clear in it, you can use this image along with english.
Cities and factions on the map
Almost the entire map is divided between playable factions. Each of them has its own rules and laws, or vice versa, there are no orders. For example, in certain zones everyone is not respected except for people, while in others others are judged solely by brute force. Therefore, knowing who owns a certain territory and whether it belongs to anyone at all is very useful.
On the image, the territories of factions are highlighted in a certain color:
- Cannibals - pink;
- desert bandits - yellow;
- Holy Nation - sandy (pale yellow);
- Shek Kingdom - orange;
- stone rats - black;
- Traders Guild - blue;
- Allied cities - blue.
The main forces of the game world have several cities. Knowing their names, features and locations is important, because during your adventure you can wander into any settlement.

- Bad Teeth — a city with powerful fortifications, located on a mountain pass in the Pride of Okran region;
