Kastoria in HSR is a quantum 5⭐ heroine who follows Paths of Memory and belongs to a select group with Amphoreus, called the "Golden Descendants." As a primary damage dealer, he uses offensive skills and summons a dragon during battle to deal with enemies.
The key mechanics are contained in absorbing health from allies — this allows you to activate a superpower and increase damage dealt. However, the girl isn't limited to just destroying enemies, as she offers buffs to squad members and a small HP restoration.
Given the constant drain on your teammates' health, it's crucial to prioritize team composition and ensure you have a reliable healer. Gear selection is equally important, as the heroine requires a comprehensive approach that takes into account her interaction with her spirit. This guide covers all of these aspects and allows you to fully utilize the demigoddess of death.

How to Get the Character

You can knock out the heroine in a special “Event Jump: Character” called Flowers in the Abode of the Dead.

Strengths and Weaknesses

The Goddess of Death is a damage dealer who plays off of her dragon summon. The creature deals significant damage, allowing the team to deal with even the largest targets. However, her skill set includes mechanics that can make it difficult to fully utilize the unit.
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Decent damage to areas and single targets allows the heroine to be used for a variety of content. | Damage and energy depend on the health of the squad members: HP decreases => damage increases and the ult is charged. |
| Relatively simple build in terms of selecting characteristics: it is enough to focus on HP and critical values. | Doesn't work well without an Abundance character who can provide consistent healing, including passive healing off-turn. |
| Does not consume skill points when using a skill, allowing support characters to apply buffs more often. | The limited selection of light cones in the Path of Remembrance makes the character somewhat dependent on his signature weapon. |
| Acts as a hyper-carry and complements groups with other damage dealers well if they play from HP/are able to manipulate health. | Limited energy generation options. Additionally, the ultimate doesn't charge while a unit is active. |
| She has a unique passive talent that delays the death of allies if she is on the account. | Not very convenient for auto-battle, since during auto-play, Death Wings always completely use up their health. |
| Offers buffs: Allows you to deal more DPS to enemies if they have an elemental vulnerability to heroes in the party, and increases overall damage. |
Best Castorice Builds in Honkai: Star Rail

In combat, the character acts as the primary damage dealer, whose abilities rely on HP, making this stat a key one. It's equally important when building a Kastoria character in XSR to acquire critical hits and a quantum bonus, as dealing damage in conjunction with Spirit is paramount.
When it comes to speed, it is not considered a significant characteristic for the following reasons:
- Increases the stat through a hidden talent from the "Traces" category.
- Often uses the mechanics of promotion from supports.
- Equipped with a set Poet of Mourning Collapse, where speed is not needed.
Energy regeneration, in turn, is also not required. The meter is filled by stacks granted for depleting the squad's health. Furthermore, the superpower is charged by healing received by allies, provided the first passive, "Contained Dark Current," is unlocked.

Optimal stat values when reaching maximum level:
- HP — 7-000 and more;
- speed — up to 95 units (in a battle with an active second trace — about 133 units and 125 units with a set Poet of Mourning Collapse);
- CRIT Rate — about 48-68% (before the fight with Singing Elegy); 80-100% (during the fight with Singing Elegy);
- CRIT DMG - 160-200%+.
Light Cone Rating
Weapons are expected to have HP, critical hit points, and other bonuses that allow for increased damage. While the signature will undoubtedly be the preferred option, there are several alternatives.
| Light cone | Effect | Recommendation |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 58-1270 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-397 |
Increases HP by 30-60%. When a character or their memosprite loses health during a turn, the wearer gains the Death Flower status, which allows them to ignore 30-50% protect the target for 2 turns. When the assistant disappears, the character's action moves forward by 12-24%. This effect can be activated only 1 time, а count triggered is reset, when the equipped one uses a superpower. |
The HP boost combined with the defense ignoring effect significantly increases the final damage, and the passive effect is easy to activate. Furthermore, the gear advances the effect, allowing you to use your ultimate more often. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 9-198 |
Increases crit bonus by 24-40%The damage inflicted by the owner's memosprite is additionally increased by 24-48%. | The increase to the k/u is considered the highest priority, since the main set is used "Rhapsode"In addition, the buff extends to the dragon, increasing its damage. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 9-198 |
Increases crit. chance by 12-20%If the Spirit of Memory is on the battlefield, the damage dealt by the owner and the creature is increased by 24-36%. | Not a bad replacement from Nameless Honor with some nice all-around bonuses: extremely high health for the epic option, increased critical chance, and increased overall DPS. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 18-396 |
Increases HP by 30-60%When a creature attacks, the owner gains 1 level of the Noctis status (max. 4). While the status is active, attacks from allied memosprites are ignored. 20-30% of defence. At the same time, the damage of the wearer and his assistant increases by 30-60%When the summoned creature leaves the battlefield, the unit recovers 8-16 energy. These effects do not stack. |
Equipped if the signature wielder is missing or wielding a different weapon. Provides a nice HP bonus, reduces enemy defense, and increases overall damage. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 48-1058 ATK 24-529 DEF 15-330 |
Increases HP by 16-32%When the owner's creature attacks, the outgoing healing of both is increased by 12-24% for 1 turn. | The card is primarily notable for its buff to the demigoddess's primary stat. Although she has no healing ability, the dragon does provide a small amount of healing to her allies when she disappears. |
Also, cones are suitable for the first time Victory In a Blink (4⭐) and Reminiscence (3⭐). They are inferior to all the options discussed in the table, but can be used as a temporary source of DPS increase.
What relics and ornaments are needed
Relics, like weapons, should have passive effects that will enhance the combat capabilities of the Death Reaper and her summoned creature.
Cavern relics
| Set and its effects | Recommendation |
![]() 2 parts: Quantum bonus +10%. |
Optimal set: buffs quantum damage and critical chance, simplifying stat balance and increasing overall DPS. To maximize the gain, it's important to have no more than 7-8 haste in substats. However, this value should only be low to battle, which means that during the battle its increase will not affect the strengthening. |
![]() 2 parts: Quantum bonus +10% In combination with such kits:
|
A combination of relics with the highest priority parameters. A combination of two quantum sets (more precisely with Genius of Brilliant Stars) also takes place, but it will be worse than an additional increase to HP or crits. |
![]() 2 parts: max HP +12%. |
The damage increase isn't as significant compared to Rhapsode, and the dragon doesn't get this bonus, making the set much less viable. However, the passive can easily be used to gain full stacks by constantly consuming allies' HP. |
At the initial stages, you can equip a full set Genius of Brilliant StarsHowever, later replacement with more satisfactory options is recommended, since the set itself is even more specific than Longevous Disciple (besides the non-working passive for the creature, it does not provide the necessary stats, except for the elemental bonus).
Planar ornaments
| Set and its effects | Recommendation |
![]() 2 parts: Max HP +12%. If the character's HP is 5 or more, the wearer and their memosprite's HP are increased by 000%. |
The best choice due to the health and damage bonuses for both the heroine herself and the Death Wings. Furthermore, Kastoria easily fulfills the main requirement, as she almost always uses HP as her primary stat. |
![]() 2 parts: When there are more than 4 team members on the field, each additional or missing teammate increases the damage dealt by the owner and their memosprite by 9% and 12%. The effect stacks up to 4/3 times. |
Because the River of Souls' host plays with other "summoners," the passive's requirements are met (at least three stacks can be accumulated). However, it's important to understand that the passive isn't always stable, as the dragon isn't always present in the arena. |
|
2 parts: Crit. Bonus +16%. If there are creatures summoned by the wearer on the battlefield, the critical damage bonus is increased by an additional 32%. |
A good alternative to the unstable full bonus, as it's important to charge the ult for the dragon to appear on the field. |
Team Guide for Castorice in HSR

Kastoria is the team's primary damage dealer, but she can also be paired with other DPS characters if their damage scales with HP. The most important thing is to ensure she has sustain with frequent and consistent healing, given that she constantly reduces the survivability of units by absorbing their health. The remaining support characters should ideally offer universal buffs (including for the summoned spirit).
Which characters are suitable?
Supports that are great for the heroine:
| Character | Features |
![]() |
A support with a large HP pool. Affects penetration of all resistance types and increases overall damage. She's a versatile character thanks to buffs that directly affect the damage of all allies. She's especially good with E1. |
![]() |
A budget-friendly companion who advances the action, allowing the heroine to use her skill more often. Another advantage is the presence of her own memory spirit, Memo. |
![]() |
Support for units with summons. It's important to activate his ultimate when Deathwings is active to avoid losing the critical hit bonus, and try to use the skill before the burst attack that completely depletes the dragon's HP. |
![]() |
Increases DPS and penetration of all resistance types. It also buffs the entire squad's speed (since the buff is activated during combat, it will not affect the "Elegian Rhapsode" set). |
| A representative of the Void who increases damage dealt to enemies while on the battlefield (requires Trait 3 unlocked). This trait is extremely beneficial for the Servant of the Right Hand of Shadow, as her skills scale with her health. | |
![]() |
Notable not only for its defense reduction for each enemy target, but also for its ability to inflict an elemental weakness on the ally in the front line of the group. This adds more flexibility in challenging endgame modes. |
The most suitable healers that can consistently maintain survivability are:
| Character | Features |
![]() |
An excellent choice for HP-healing groups, the Priestess-Healer offers a nice list of bonuses. Specifically, she significantly increases the team's max health and provides consistent and constant healing (which is useful for the River of Souls owner, as it significantly speeds up the build rate of her ultimate). |
![]() |
Primarily useful due to the Besotted status, which allows allies to heal from attacks on targets. For this reason, he performs best in modes where there are multiple enemies and they rarely change (such as "Forgotten Hall"). |
![]() |
Creates an area that restores HP with any hits and instantly heals an ally if their health drops to half or below. Unlike Gallagher, it doesn't rely on enemies or their speed, making it more effective in Pure Fiction. |
![]() |
Provides consistent and frequent healing from both active abilities and passively while off-turn, maintaining high survivability. At the same time, it can remove debuffs, apply debuffs, and deal fire damage with its bonus attack. |
Damage dealers with whom the heroine can effectively play in the same lineup:
| Character | Features |
![]() |
The best hero for builds that utilize Memory Spirits. "Mistress March 7" gains additional bonuses from alliances with similar units, while also having special synergy with the Hand of Souls' Mistress thanks to her health manipulation. |
![]() |
A secondary damage dealer who relies on HP and spends his health to deal increased damage. He's willing and willing to sacrifice his survivability, which synergizes perfectly with the Reaper of Death skill set. |
![]() |
A hero who also relies on health and also spends and restores HP. Similar to the Demigod of Discord, he wants to constantly take damage to accumulate stacks. These stacks allow him to perform a bonus attack and deal even more damage. |

Which support should I choose?
The demigoddess has several heroes that synergize well with her, providing key buffs. To decide which ones are a priority and how essential they are to the build, we'll examine each in more detail.
Who's better: Tribbie, Sunday, or MC Remembrance
The featured heroes offer the following synergies:
- Tribbie (Harmony: Quantum) — is convenient because her skills rely on HP, which can be spent. At the same time, she offers universal buffs that directly increase damage. She deals decent damage herself and benefits from damage dealers who deal damage to multiple targets.
- Sunday (Harmony: Imaginary) — a strong support for units with spirits, as it advances actions and significantly boosts both. However, despite the beneficial bonuses, it has a number of caveats: Kastoria doesn't need energy regeneration, and the super ability is of little use without Deathwings on the field.
- Trialblazer (Remembrance: Ice) — a free alternative to Resurrection, which also has its own advantages: it summons a helper with a separate health pool, allows for additional true damage, and does not require special ability synchronization.
Thus, the following priority is built according to ease of use: Tribby > Pioneer of Memory ≥ SundayHowever, this doesn't mean that being the last character on the list doesn't work well in a team with a Death Reaper. Resurrection is a powerful support and is just as effective as Pathfinder. His main issue is that he requires a more demanding approach when activating his ultimate, as well as his ability that speeds up the dragon's despawn.
Is Evernight a must?
Guardian of the Road of Development She occupies a special place in teams that rely on summoning creatures. Her abilities are quite narrowly focused, but this is more of an advantage than a disadvantage. Specifically, Temen offers:
- Significantly increases the power of all Memory Spirits in the group, including Death Wings;
- own decent damage, allowing you to deal with enemies faster;
- built-in HP consumption mechanics that generate additional units of "New Bloom" charge.
She further maximizes the demigoddess's potential, making her an extremely beneficial upgrade. While the squad can certainly function without "Mrs. March 7," she's definitely worth considering for maximum results in various endgame content.
Leveling
The table shows the resources and their exact quantities required to reach the maximum level of development.
In total, to fully level up Castorice, including ascension, skills, and traces, you need to collect:
- Credits (×3 888 000);
- Traveler's Guide (×290);
- Ethereal Omen (×56), Echoing Wail (×71), Eternal Lament (×73) - materials dropped by the Black Tide monsters;
- Bija of Consciousness (×18), Seedling of Manas (×69), Flower of Alaya (×139) - components obtained in the Calyx: "Strife Ruins" Castrum Kremmnos";
- Darkveil Moonlight (×65) - given after completing the dungeon Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Gelidmoon;
- Auspice Sliver (×12) - a reward for victory over Boss Feixiao in the Echo of War: Inner Beast's Battlefield;
- Traces of Destiny (×8).
How skills work
The heroine belongs to the Path of Remembrance, therefore, her main mechanic lies in summoning and using an assistant - Netherwing. The creature serves as both a primary source of DPS and provides buffs to allies. Castorice focuses on periodic skill casts and promoting the memosprite's actions through the activation of her superpower.
An equally significant and at the same time controversial element is health consumption of squad members. This not only provides DPS boosts, but is also one of the ways to restore the ultimate, including HP regeneration for allies. In other words, when playing as a unit, you will have to constantly maintain a balance between the decrease in health and the need to activate the super ability.
Active skills
The skills used by the character include:
- This technique grants a special condition that prevents enemies from approaching. Additionally, a dragon appears immediately at the start of the battle.
- Basic attack - small quantum damage to one target;
- Normal skill - drains HP of allies and deals quantum damage to multiple targets;
- Enhanced skill - spends a little more HP on allies and performs a joint attack with an assistant;
- Superpower - Summons a memosprite and increases its actions by 100%. Creates a space that reduces the penetration of all types of enemy resistance.
Below is a detailed description of the skills, which will allow you to get more information about how they work.
Wail, Death's Herald || Enhance
After using this technique, enters the Netherveil state for 20 seconds. While this state is active, enemies cannot approach. Additionally, attacking while in Netherveil will force nearby enemies to engage and summon Netherwing.
The dragon will appear with HP equal to 50% of the maximum charge of Newbud. After entering the battle, spends 40% of all allies' current HP, the creature's effect is increased by 100%, and the Lost Netherland territory is created. After entering combat and before summoning Netherwing, the character receives a charge of Newbud equal to 30% of maximum charge.
Lament, Nethersea's Ripple || Single Target
Deals quantum damage to one enemy equal to 25-50% of max HP.
Silence, Wraithfly's Caress || Burst
Absorbs 30% of all allies' current health. Deals quantum damage equal to 25-50% of your max HP to one enemy, as well as quantum damage equal to 15-30% of max HP, to adjacent targets. If health is insufficient, it will be reduced to 1 unit. If there is Netherwing on the battlefield, the skill is replaced by Boneclaw, Doomdrake's Embrace.
Boneclaw, Doomdrake's Embrace || Joint Attack
Absorbs 40% of allies' current health, except for Netherwing's. The heroine and the memosprite then launch a joint attack on all enemy targets, dealing quantum damage equal to 15-30% и 25-50% of Castorice's max health. If the current health is not enough, using the ability will reduce it to 1.
Doomshriek, Dawn's Chime || Summon
Summons the Netherwing Dragon and advances its effect forward by 100%. At the same time, it creates the Lost Netherland area that reduces all enemy resistance by 10-20%If the talent buff is active, the effect is also transferred to Death Wings.
The memosprite has 165 base speed and health equal to 100% of the maximum charge of Newbud. After Netherwing takes 3 actions or completely depletes its health, it will disappear and dispel the area.
Passive Skills
One passive has a direct effect on damage, while the other is a unique resurrection feature that affects the entire account.
Desolation Across Palms || Enhance
The maximum charge of Newbud is based on the levels of all characters in battle. For every point of HP lost by allies, 1 Newbud charge is given. When their number reaches the maximum value, the super ability can be used.
When companions lose health, the damage dealt by the heroine and the creature increases by 10-20%. The effect stacks up to 3 times and lasts for 3 turns. If the dragon is on the battlefield, no charges are granted. Instead, for every point of HP lost by its allies, it restores the same amount of HP to itself.
Sanctuary of Mooncocoon || Enhance
After receiving Castorice on your account, the following effect is activated: in battle, when allies receive fatal damage, they enter the Mooncocoon state. The death of all units is postponed for 1 turn, during which you can also perform an action. If the heroes do not receive healing or shielding before the start of the next turn, they die for good.
The effect only occurs once per battle. It can also be activated if the girl is added to the squad as a support character.
Memosprite Skills
The summoned creature's skills include:
- normal skill - small DPS to all enemies;
- enhanced skill - increased multiple damage to all targets (use does not end the turn);
- Talent 1 - When the health of allies drops to the min. threshold, the dragon begins to take damage;
- Talent 2 - Increases damage dealt by all squad members;
- Talent 3 - Allows you to deal damage to one enemy and restore some HP to allies before the creature disappears.
Claw Splits the Veil || Burst
Deals Quantum Damage to all enemies equal to 20-40% of Castorice's max HP.
Breath Scorches the Shadow || Burst
The dragon consumes 25% of your max HP and deals quantum damage to all enemies equal to 12-24% of Castorice's max HP. If HP is insufficient, it will drop to 1. Using this skill does not terminate the turn.
When reactivating the skill, the damage multiplier increases to 14-28%/17-34%. The effect lasts as long as the memosprite is on the battlefield. When HP is less than or equal to 25%, using this ability will reduce health to 1 unit, after which the talent Wings Sweep the Ruins will be triggered.
Mooncocoon Shrouds the Form || Support
When the dragon is on the battlefield, it acts as a reserve for allies. If characters take damage, their health can drop to a maximum of 1 unit. After this, the memosprite takes damage in their place in the amount of 500% of the original damage until it disappears.
Roar Rumbles the Realm || Support
When Death Wings is summoned, all allies' damage is increased by 10% for 3 turns.
Wings Sweep the Ruins || Bounce
When the memosprite disappears, it deals quantum damage 6 times equal to 20-40% of Castorice's max HP, one random enemy target. At the same time, restores HP equal to 3-6% of max. HP of the heroine + 400-800, to all allies.
Leveling Order
D/P skill = talent d/p > ult = talent > skill > basic attack
The dragon's skill is the main source of damage, and its talent is one of the key buffs for the team, increasing DPS. The girl's superpower and talent are equally significant abilities, offering additional bonuses.
The heroine's skill allows her to deal damage with a combined attack with Deathwings or restore charges that fill her ultimate. Her basic attack, however, is almost never used, so it's kept at a low/minimum value to conserve materials.
Traces
The River of Souls Mistress's Tree of Talents:
- Contained Dark Tide (A2): If the memosprite is not on the battlefield, 100% of the healing received by allies is converted into a charge of Newbud. If the unit is active, the healing is converted into HP for that unit. HP converted in this way cannot exceed 12% of Newbud's maximum charge. Accumulated healing is reset upon completing the action.
- Inverted Torch (A4): If HP is at or above 50% during combat, Speed is increased by 40%. When the dragon uses the skill Breath Scorches the Shadow, dealing fatal damage to enemies or reducing them to a state where they can no longer lose HP, its Speed is increased by 100% for 1 turn.
- Where The West Wind Dwells (A6): Each time the memosprite uses the skill Breath Scorches the Shadow, the damage dealt is increased by 30%. This effect stacks up to 6 times and lasts until the end of the current turn.
Upgrading all traces with characteristics will provide the following final increase:
| CRIT Rate | 18.7% |
| K/bonus | 14.4% |
| CRIT DMG | 13.3% |
Eidolons
The best eidolons of Castorice are the first, second and sixth ones:
- E1 Increases DPS from character and dragon abilities. Depending on how low the enemy's HP is (80%, 50%, or lower), the girl's enhanced skill and all Netherwing's offensive abilities will deal increased damage.
- E2 Provides more survivability for the creature and allows Castorice to immediately perform an action after using its skill. This also makes it easier to charge Newbud due to the additional recovery.
- E6 Enhances the character and creature's combat potential by increasing damage dealt to enemies with quantum resistance and increasing the number of attacks that trigger after the memosprite disappears. Furthermore, the dragon now ignores all vulnerabilities.
If you are a F2P player but want to get copies of the unit, it is recommended to stop at the second eidolon.
| E1: "The Buried Memory of the Snow Maiden" |
If the enemy's HP is less than or equal to 80%/50% of their Max HP, the damage dealt by the unit's enhanced skill and the summoned creature's abilities will be 120%/140% of the original damage. |
| E2: "A Crown on the Wings of Flowers" | After summoning Netherwing, you gain 2 levels of the Ardent Will status effect. A maximum of 2 stacks can be accumulated, which are used to reduce the health drain when activating the Breath Scorches the Shadow skill and advance the effect by 100%. The next skill you use will restore 30% of the maximum charge of Newbud. |
| E3: "The Piety of the Traveler in the Dance of Perdition" |
|
| E4: "Rest among the songs of sorrow" | While the unit is on the battlefield, healing received by allies is increased by 20%. |
| E5: "Hints of Prophecy on Untouched Pages" |
|
| E6: "Years of waiting to emerge from the cocoon" | When Castorice or Netherwing deal damage, Quantum Resistance penetration is increased by 20%. While attacking, the memosprite ignores enemy vulnerabilities and reduces their durability. The number of bounces from the Wings Sweep the Ruins talent is increased by 3. |
How to play Castorice in HSR

Castorice's rotation revolves around constantly summoning the memosprite and then using it to destroy enemies. The character can also deal damage with a regular or enhanced skill. However, this skill reduces the health of allies, requiring greater engagement in combat.
Equally important is the process of restoring the superpower that triggers Netherwing: a charge of Newbud is required. However, while the dragon is in the arena, energy is not released. This means that activating the ultimate immediately after the assistant disappears will require time.
Since the girl consumes her teammates' HP, her skill isn't the only viable regeneration method. An additional and safer option is healing the entire squad (the first trace). This requires a healer capable of healing frequently and consistently.
Taking into account the above features, adhere to the following recommendations in rotation:
- Before the start, use the technique to immediately spawn the memosprite. This will also automatically trigger the buff from the assistant's second talent, increasing allies' DPS for 3 turns.
- While the dragon is active, alternate abilities with Castorice. However, before using the heroine's skill, pay attention to your teammates' current health and the upcoming actions of enemies, especially elite ones.
- Once a creature has been defeated three times or has exhausted its HP, it will disappear. This also unlocks the character's superpower, as well as the ability to restore energy through skill, health loss, or health regeneration.
- The ultimate activates when ready to summon Netherwing again. To speed up the process, active healing from a healer (ideally passive as well) and/or an action progression mechanic is required. In the latter case, make sure it does not become critical to the team's survivability.
- We should also note a special talent that allows you to avoid the death of allies. This is a kind of second "chance" if for some reason you failed to keep track of the group's health. However, the passive only works once per battle, which is why it is better not to waste it in vain and strive to preserve HP as much as possible.
Let's highlight the moment with the use of the dragon's skill:
- Enhanced memosprite Skill (E) reduces health, but does not count as an action. Therefore, you can not use up the stacks completely, leaving about 25% (3 clicks; or less if HP is not full), and then complete the action with a normal skill (Q).
- If there is no need for a powerful attack (for example, when there are several small enemies on the field), the maximum number of presses of the Netherwing skill for complete exhaustion is done on the last turn before it disappears, when the 3 circles under the unit icon are empty.
There is also an option not to keep the dragon in the arena for a long time, but to spend all the health right away with the skill to deal high DPS to a large target in a single hit. However, it's important to keep in mind that in this case, you'll have to do without it for several turns.
Thus, the dragon can be controlled in different ways: to instantly detonate by completely draining HP, or to maintain it throughout the battlefield. Let's take a closer look at both playstyles.
| HP drain for instant explosion | Support for Netherwing in the arena |
| Suitable for a hyper-carry build, where the girl is the only damage dealer. | Not a bad option if there is another DPS character in the team. |
| Received healing is always converted to Ultimate Restoration only. | The explosive attack is triggered less frequently, reducing damage to single targets. |
| Maximum damage to one enemy thanks to talent and third trace. | It's easier to clear out waves of smaller enemies, like in Pure Fiction. |
| If the squad lacks healing, the Netherwing may be absent from the fight for a long time. | Not available in auto-battle and is harder to adjust to rotation with Sunday. |
| The boost from the superpower does not work on a permanent basis. | The reduction of all types of enemy resistance from the ult works more consistently. |
Which Path to Choose in the Divergent Universe
The Main Path is Remembrance, since blessings are aimed at strengthening the being. Additional Path is Destruction, as it's tied to the mechanics of health consumption and restoration. Additionally, the blessings of the Hunt, Harmony, Propagation, and Erudition are suitable for completing equations.
Basic equations:
Most of the damage is dealt by the Flower of Annihilation from the Elegy Priest. Considering that the HP of the party members constantly changes due to the unit's skills, the effect will activate stably.
Additional equations:

For weighed curios, it's important to choose those that best complement the heroine's abilities. For example, those that boost key stats during combat, those related to memosprite, or health loss/regeneration. The following are perfect in this regard:

Alternatively, End of an Altruist will also work well if you're playing with Mydei (Destruction: Imaginary). In cases where there are no problems with survival, Excess Nutrition can be abandoned.
Is The Character Worth Pulling?

In Honkai: Star Rail, the demigoddess of death, Castorice, is a primary damage dealer, playing with a memosprite summon. She's a powerful yet challenging character to master. Consuming allies' health, coupled with the creature's skill mechanics, requires constant engagement and careful planning.
However, her unique approach to combat isn't the only aspect. Specifically, she has a limited selection of supports and suitable gear. Her Signature Cone remains the most viable choice, with few alternatives. All this makes her a less than ideal choice, especially when paired with other highly skilled attacking units.
However, the aforementioned "downsides" can be offset by considering all the nuances of rotation and choosing the right gear and team. In this case, she will become a truly powerful unit and will be able to easily cover the game's endgame content. Moreover, the build itself is simple—for high damage output, only critical hits and HP are needed.
Therefore, Castorice is worth pursuing if you're willing to invest in it, delve into its mechanics, and actively utilize them in battle. It's also worth highlighting the unique talent that, for having a girl on your account, "postpones" the death of allies. Although this effect only occurs once per battle, it will be useful in difficult fights.
Which is better: signature or E1
The signature cone Make Farewells More Beautiful is preferable to the first eidolon. The weapon increases health, which affects skills, allows you to ignore enemy defenses, and advances the action after the dragon despawns, making it quicker to summon again.
However, the signature is one of the few available options, making it a worthwhile investment. E1 isn't worth the investment unless you're aiming for E2. The Eidolon only affects the damage dealt by Deathwings and the heroine when enemy HP is reduced to a certain level. While the damage increase is high, it doesn't compare to the benefits of Cone.

The demigoddess is among those chosen by the prophecy of Amphoreus, along with the other Chrysos Heirs. Her primary goal is to find the Death Coreflame to save the planet. She is also known as the daughter of the River of Souls, which is destined to escort the departed to the afterlife.
