Firepower
Before us is the owner of a 122 mm gun with a one-time damage of 390 units. Armor penetration with a base sub-caliber projectile is 221 mm, and with a special cumulative 270 mm. Exactly the same parameters Object 703 Option II, IS-3 with M3, IS-5. The accuracy is 0,43 at 100 meters, and the aiming time is 2,97 seconds, which is not so bad for a Soviet TT.
The flight speed of the sub-calibers is an impressive 1400 m/s, but there is not so much sense from it, because with its accuracy at a long distance it makes no sense to even try to shoot. Kumuls fly at a speed of 820 m / s.
Vitality
The margin of safety is not bad 1550 units and against the background of classmates it is distinguished by good nominal armor. The frontal turret is strong and can tank especially against those players who are not aware of its weak points:
- on the sides of the gun it breaks into the gun mantlet (there is 220-240 mm)
- the bar on the left breaks closer to the gun (about 250 mm)
VLD is very reminiscent Object 703 Option II, so it tanks well even vehicles of a higher level. However, all the armor is nullified by the driver's hatch, located immediately below the turret, which breaks through from 200 mm. NLD is located at an angle of 90 degrees, can sometimes catch a rebound. The sides of Kirovets-1 tank confidently.
Mobility and intelligence
The mobility of the Kirovets is clearly a competitive advantage compared to other Soviet heavyweights. Due to its small mass and excellent engine, it has a high power density, so it accelerates briskly. The top forward/reverse speed of 42/20 km is also one of the best. It is also worth noting the viewing radius of 360 meters, which is 10 more than the standard value of the USSR TT.

Field modernization of Kirovets-1
In this case, you can skip the 2nd option and focus on reducing the influence of artillery and improving mobility. This is the best option when playing with hardening, and the vision reduction will not be as sensitive as for other USSR TTs.
How to play
Kirovets-1 is positioned as a heavy breakthrough tank and this is facilitated by good armor and excellent mobility. This is a first-line vehicle that must fight on the front line, tanking and exchanging its safety margin.
It is important to remember about vulnerabilities in armor:
- hide the driver's hatch behind shelters;
- try not to expose the tower on the left side to the enemy (move out so that it is covered);
- move the cannon to make it harder to target the gun mantlet, or cover the driver's hatch with it.
Results
Kirovets-1 was first added to the game back in 2015. For that time, he was really good, but in the modern random house he no longer causes such delight. It turned out to be an interesting tank for those who do not yet have imb premiums in their Garage. It can be called an improved version IS-5, but at the same time it does not have key advantages to compete with a double-barrel Object 703 Option II, IS-3 with M3 which has a mechanism for reloading shells or "Defender", which is still good and something in random.
According to performance characteristics Kirovets-1 rather mediocre technique and the big question is how many fights you have to play to recapture the money spent on it 15 silver. However, given the fact that it is just the same initially sold for credits, then for players who do not donate to the game, this is quite a good option.
