book in the woods Genshin Impact is a world quest located in the Li Yue region. In the course of the task, the player needs to help the little girl Devyatochka find a lost book in the forest.
How to start the Book in the Forest quest in Genshin Impact
To get started, teleport to a point below Uwan Slope, not far from the Stone Gate, as shown on the map. Move in the indicated direction. When approaching, an exclamation mark will appear - this is the quest giver.
To start the quest, talk to the little girl named Devyatochka standing there. She will ask you to find a book given to her by a certain "Ninth". At the end of the dialogue, the girl suggests starting a search with a nearby forest.
Walkthrough The Book in the Forest in Genshin Impact
The first research area is on the rock behind Nine. To do this, you need to climb up the stairs.
Going further deep into the forest, you will see a luminous arrow. Approach it and click "pick up". However, nothing will happen.
Follow to the second point. Go further down the path and notice the same icon as above. Study it. Nothing will happen again. After that, return back to Nine. However, the girl is no longer in the same place. This is where the quest ends.
Where did Nine go
Although the game does not explicitly state this, it is not difficult to assume that the girl still died, and a ghost appeared in front of the Traveler. Judging by her story, the river was very cold, so having got out of the water, Devyatochka died from frostbite, exhausted in her sleep. Exactly because of this reason the girl's soul is not at rest and everyone continues to look for a book dear to her.
In addition, according to the plot and in daily missions, more than once chan ninth character. Probably Nine at the beginning of the quest was talking about him. However, he had grown up a long time ago, and she remained a child. When the player returns, it disappears, because in the world of Teyvat, many souls of the dead are just particles of memories, phantoms, which after the expiration of time lose their material appearance.
Rewards
Despite the fact that Nine was not in place, the task is still completed and a reward is issued:
- 100 points adventure experience;
- 2 books Hero's Wit;
- 20 Primogems.
