How to get to the Temple of the Sleeping One
Access to the Temple of the Sleeping One opens after completing the quest "The Chosen Path" in city of orcsThere you'll have to decide whether to help the shaman Ur-Nazkrog by taking on the quest "Warrior's Honor," or give Muk the meatbug stew in the quest "A Matter of Taste."
Shaman Varrag-Hashor
To face the first boss, solve two puzzles and go through the locked green door northwest of the first room.
How to install statues in the Temple of the Sleeping One
As soon as you cross the barrier beneath the orc city and begin the quest, run forward into the large hall with the gate. You can immediately kill the skeletons controlled by the mage there. After defeating them, run up the steps to the raised area on the left and proceed into the corridor, at the end of which you'll see an orc statue. Loot the items lying at its base. map of the Temple of the Sleeping One and elixirs.
Solve the puzzle here not necessarily - it will only open the combination of symbols for the next riddle.
Descend the stairs to the left of the sculpture, kill a couple of skeletons, and you'll find yourself in a circular room with three statues. Each one can be rotated to point in the correct direction:
- Right statue should point to the column between the middle and left ones.
- Average statue - on the pole between the entrance and the right.
- Left statue - on the column at the entrance to your right.
If everything is done correctly, a column with symbols will appear in the center of the hall.
How to solve the valve puzzle
Opposite the entrance to the corridor with the statues, there are three valves that require you to enter the correct combination. Turn them in this order:
- Right - left ×1.
- Middle - left ×2.
- Right - left ×3.
The grate on the right will open the way to the shaman Varrag-Hashor. Kill the skeletons in the room with the levers, then fire a spell or projectile at the green button above the door. The first boss awaits beyond the gate.
After defeating him, loot his corpse and take the "World-Crushing" gem and the "Pyrokinesis" rune. Killing the cursed orc will yield 1,000 experience points.
Shaman Varrag-Kazorg
The second guardian is located in the same initial section of the catacombs. Return to the room where you just fought the skeletons and find three panels with levers. To the right of them is a hole in the floor leading to a tangled network of caves with particularly powerful Temple Crawlers and Orc Guardians.
We recommend taking the shortest route to the boss:
- Turn left and follow the corridor to the first T-junction.
- Turn right and run to the room with frescoes.
- Turn right again - the steps will lead to an electric corridor, at the end of which is the boss room.
If you encounter any difficulties, please refer to the video:
How to solve the rotating floor puzzle
After passing through the electrified tunnel, you'll find yourself in a room with a new puzzle. On the stands at the edges are three valves that rotate sections of the floor. Rotate them to form a complete picture in the center of the room:
- Turn the first valve, installed above the inlet, higher than the others. right twice.
- The second valve, to the right of the first one - right once.
- The third one, opposite the first one - right once.
- The last one on the left side is twice to the right.

Use the platforms in the main hall
Return to the main hall and interact with the middle panel where the lever is missing. Once installed, pull the left switch, then the middle one. Two platforms will rise and slowly descend.
Climb up the hill on the left, wait until the platforms are low enough to jump onto, and cross to the other side. Be careful: There are spikes on the ceiling, so try not to run into them when jumping.
Proceed further and find a red door with a circular switch above it. Shoot it with any projectile to open the path to Varrag-Unhilkt. Defeat the shaman and receive:

How to solve the blood riddle
After exiting Unhilkt's crypt, proceed to the hall opposite the red door. Run past the orc sculptures and you'll find yourself in a room with a red magical barrier.
First, turn towards the room with spikes leftTo prevent the trap from activating, shoot the round button on the far wall.
After that, run into the room, turn around, and find a similar switch above the entrance. Shooting it will move the section of wall behind which the lever is hidden—pull it.
Enter the room opposite and activate the puzzle by shooting the button above the entrance. The wall will slide open, revealing a lever behind it—press it.
Blood will begin to fill the pool by the far wall. To continue, use the valves to rotate the L-shaped puzzle pieces and direct the liquid into the reservoirs:
- Interact with the right device and turn it in any direction twice.
- Activate the left valve and turn it left once.
Wait until the tanks fill with blood and the third valve emerges from the floor. Then, using the same principle, direct the liquid toward the center of the room:
- Left valve - once clockwise.
- Right valve - once counterclockwise.
- Middle valve - once in any direction.
Return to the central hall between the puzzles and interact with the device opposite the arch with the blood barrier. Defeat the Fire Demon and the blood barrier will dissolve, opening the way forward.
Kill three Demon Lords
After walking down a small corridor, you'll find yourself at a fork in the road. Take the right path, the door to which is highlighted in purple.
Follow the path around the grotto and enter three arenas. Each contains one Demon Lord.

Once you defeat the last one, exit his arena and wait for three souls to power the passage opposite, creating a magical bridge to the platform in the center of the cave.
Take the Strange Sword

Grasp the winch handle and rotate it 180° using the Forward key.
Open the gate to the sanctuary
Return to the entrance to the engine room and from there, move along the wall to the right. Run past the steps with the sculptures—a new passage has opened behind them.
After passing through it, continue along the tunnel until you reach a fork. You need to turn onto the path through the gap in the wall along the ledges, but further down the corridor is a secret room with a chest that opens with a pressure panel. Check it out if you want to pick it up. amulet of purification.
Once you get into the room behind the bars, you can turn the valve - it will open the shortcut, but you will have to fight two temple guards.
Run up the stairs to the floor above. To the right of the giant iron gate, find the valve and turn it to open the passage to the fifth shaman.
