In Neverness to Everness, a powerfulanomaly called Eclipse is connected to a hidden Easter egg quest series in New Helios, which, when completed, yields an S-rank weapon with a unique ability for Solid Espers. Teach the girl to accept people's feelings and save the world from merciless destruction.
Walkthrough of the Eclipse quest in NTE
Go to the Bureau of Anomaly Control and approach the mysterious girl, standing in front of a black energy ball. Start a dialogue to learn about this being: she has been observing people for a long time, wanting to understand them.
Having finished the dialogue with the "She probably just wants to wander around" line, start a hidden mission in which you need to find Eclipse in four different zones of central Hethereau.
Once you've teleported to the city, use the time system, move the slider to set 8:00, and change the weather to "Sunny" — this is the only way you can start your search.
Find the anomaly on the roof of the Film Orbit studio
From the Wertheimer tower of Bridge Crossings, run towards the Felicità Gelato Ice Cream Shop and climb onto the roof of the photo studio. Together, figure out the reason for everyone's morning rush.
Observe the students of Clement Academy
In Illusion Town, watch from a high-rise building how students spend their time in a school infected with the Lonely Player R-9591 (Ob) anomaly. Esper Zero will explain why the mornings of teenagers and adults are so different.
Visit the beach on Coastal Highway Z42
Return to Bridge Crossings and reach the shore. The mysterious creature will reflect on human emotions, sadness and happiness, which can manifest themselves in the same way.
Climb the Tikal Bridge and save the world
Follow Davidia Avenue to the Tikal Bridge and climb the red support to the very top. Eclipse will notice that a person's life is like a spiral. This outcome must be eliminated once and for all, so the anomaly will create a black sphere to break the "cyclical" cycle. Convince her otherwise in dialogue.
Upon completion, visit the location where you first encountered the unusual creature. Promise to help her with her observations, for which you will receive arc S-rank "Day Off".
How to get the "World Changer" achievement
After equipping Zero with the new weapon, visit the Orichalcos Imaginist in the Unheard Shores area and speak with a curious child, who really wants to know what an eclipse looks like.
Apply the uniqueR-skill, then talk to the boy again. This will complete "The Look of Eclips" Easter Egg mission and unlock the "World Changer" silver trophy (Annulith ×10) from the "Single Frame Funk" section.
Rewards
By completing the hidden quest, you'll unlock the legendary weapon for hard-core characters, "Day Off." This arc increases attack and charge speed, and also grants the wearer a bonus that makes it easier to accumulate energy for the superpower during combat.
I can't figure out how to start the quest. My dialogue with her is either about how she looks at the amusement park and tries to understand people, or about how she sleeps at night.
I had the same thing. Try going to the roof of a photo studio and rewinding the time to 8:00 (make sure to set it to sunny). I was also stupid: I showed up on the roof and it wasn't there, even though the time was correct. Then it turned out it was overcast. I rewinded it to sunny, and it appeared.
