В Genshin Impact in Snowy Icemen are encountered—unusual creatures resembling small snowmen. These mischievous creatures cannot speak, but they love to play with travelers and challenge them. They can offer a variety of riddles, but the solutions to many are not obvious, and the puzzles themselves are easily lost in the white landscapes.
How do the Iceman riddles work in Snezhnaya?
There's no single solution to the Snowman challenges. They offer a variety of minigames, the most common of which are:
- ride through rings in a snow globe;
- collect Cryo particles;
- push the creatures in the balls to the right place;
- Solve the puzzle using the creatures of eternal ice.
Most of the creatures are hidden on the interactive map under the time trial icon, as Snezhnaya lacks traditional time-based mechanics. Instead, you're invited to play with small creatures. Successful completion rewards chests of varying rarity.
How to solve all Iceman puzzles in Genshin Impact
In total, you can find in the territory of the northern kingdom 36 Snowmen. Some locations, such as the House of the Hesperides, are unlocked through the region's side quests.
Riddle 1 (Break through the Cryo Rings)
The first minigame is located near the Pathfinder's Lodge. Transform into a soft ball and cross five rings to retrieve a rich chest from the little one.

Riddle 2 (Kick the Iceman into the Goal)
The second trial is located in the Werewolf Tundra, east of Sretomorozk. The Snowmen have prepared a three-stage game in which you have to throw a ball into a goal. You have about 60 seconds to complete each round. Completing all three stages will reward you with a regular, rich, and precious chest.
The first stage
The starting level is simple: push a snowball with an iceman toward the gate ahead. For ease of use, it's best to use heroes with a spear or one-handed sword.

The next arena is a bit more challenging due to the ice obstacles. Go around them to the left and launch the ball into the right spot.

In the final round, try to avoid the hole in the middle of the arena without forcing the snowman into it. Follow the same trajectory as in the previous round.

Riddle 3 (The Worried Iceman and the Three Children)
The next location is in a small creature settlement west of Rankova Zorya Station. An adult snowman has lost his babies. Help him find them and bring them home. To do this, you'll need to push them away with regular attacks. You'll receive two rich treasure chests as a reward.
First child
He's hiding in the dry grass nearby. Knock him out of the bushes with a couple of blows and head for the house. The stage will only be counted once an adult calls out.
Second child
He's behind a fence, but he can't escape because of a cube of eternal ice. Destroy the structure by pressing "T," then push him into the room.
Third child
He's rolling around in a snow globe on the roof. Climb up there and hit him once to pull him out. Be careful: he can push you off the roof. Then throw him down and send him to the brothers.
