“Ray of the Morning Dawn” is a quest in Genshin Impact in which Alyosha repairs the furnace at Rankova Zorya Station. However, he cannot finish the repairs without an energy core. All that is known is that the required component is connected to Shadow Realm technology, and the alves in the gang may know something about it.
How to Start the Quest
You can start the third part of the Pathfinder’s Hut meeting point chronicles after:
- Completing Chapter II of Archon Quests Volume VII, “Wraith’s Nocturne”.
- Raise the Ranger's Hut reputation to level three. To develop it, you will need to offer 90 Cryo Seals and explore Werewolf Tundra and the Valley of Fiery Feathers to a combined total of 50%.
Ray of the Morning Dawn Quest Walkthrough in Genshin Impact
Meet marksman Alyosha at Rankova Zorya Station and find out what he needs to repair the furnace. To obtain the missing component, you will have to interfere in the affairs of Snezhnaya’s gangs.
Find the Energy Core Alyosha Mentioned
To get the furnace working again, the hunter needs the Crystal Ore Smelt. Zmey will give you this item at the end of the “Disputes Without Honor or Justice” quest from the “Slums” quest series. If you have already completed that quest, the option to hand over the energy core will appear immediately.
If you do not have the required item in your inventory, Alyosha will suggest postponing the repairs. In that case, head to the Ash District of Snezhnograd and meet the werewolves demanding money from a girl named Marfa on the stone bridge. This will start the “Burn the Barns and Stables” quest from the “Slums” quest series.
Once you receive the Crystal Ore Smelt from Zmey, return to Rankova Zorya Station and give it to the hunter.
After completing this quest, as well as “Awaiting the Dawn” and “Above the Light Snow”, you will unlock Snezhnaya’s final Reputation quest, “Dawn After the Snowfall”, in which you must restore the station.
Rewards
Completing the quest grants a small number of resources:
- Mora ×21,500;
- Hero’s Wit ×3.
