Tier list is a ranking system in Neverness to Everness, where all characters are ranked from best to worst based on their endgame performance. Each fighter has their own unique abilities that are useful when tackling combat content. While early gameplay is enjoyable, later, when facing high-level monsters, team composition requires more careful consideration.
A unit's contribution to a battle is crucial for quickly clearing Abnormal Modes. Versatility, mobility, the strength of bonuses they spread, or the damage they deal—based on these factors, you can draw a brief conclusion about each hero and understand the current meta.
Neverness to Everness Character Tier List
The NTE meta helps determine which units will be most effective in the late game given equal investment. Units are divided into ranks: S+, S, A, B, and C. Units that excel in their role are rated S+, while less popular units are rated C.
S+ rank characters
This category includes universal heroes who can easily cover any content.
Nanally

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Anima
- Role: main DD
Tiger Girl Nunnally — a powerful fighter specializing in the Bloom reaction. She can handle any mode, from daily activities clearing regular monsters to anomalous zones with powerful single enemies. A good advantage is the ability to run on walls: After activating the skill, the baby begins to ignore the rules of gravity, making it easier to explore open spaces.
Hotori

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Space
- Role: primary and secondary DD
The Exquisite Lady Hotori — Excellent support for teams with various reactions, including those featuring Nunnally. She can also act as a hyper-carry, but will require additional investment and/or allies capable of maintaining frequent Esper cycles. This comes in handy for her skill, which "records" team abilities for 5 seconds.
The main feature is the possibility stop time (superpower in combat and b/a in the open world), which can be used profitably when passing any content ("Beyond the Rails", in Pink Paws heist and etc.).
Lacrimosa

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Chaos
- Role: primary and secondary DD
Tomato Lacrimosa Jelly Lover — a unique representative of the damage-over-time mechanic, inflicting the Nightmare DoT status with all active abilities. She excels as a first- and second-position fighter: she can act as a driver, triggering Esper cycles, and as a standalone damage dealer, looting bonuses from allies like Enhance.
Very easy to learn, making it suitable for beginners. Effective in combination with Nova, Scorch, and Dissonance. Outside of combat, it can turn into a bat, and in battle, copy monsters and transform into them.
Chiz

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Space
- Role: main DD
Bank Manager Cheese — the most accessible S+ class heroine: with active play, you can fully unlock her "Awakening" and also obtain a signature weapon with the maximum "Ascension" level. Even without cons, she delivers high burst damage in both AoE and solo-target scenarios, and with a full boost, her damage output will increase even further.
The only downside is rotation, compliance with which can not suitable for everyoneIts power is directly related to the number of grains, and the majority of damage is dealt by the skill during the Grain Market period.
Daffodill

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Chaos
- Role: minor DD
Bodyguard Daffodil - the best character from "Strange Meeting" fair: She excels not only in the early stages of the game but also in the later stages, when most of New Helios's time is spent in endgame combat. She provides the squad with powerful penetration, quickly stunning any targets, and boosts Dissonance with her passive talent. She is considered an indispensable fighter in many builds, as no other allied unit offers this mechanic.
Sakiri

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Charms
- Role: gain
Little Sakiri isn't particularly good against single targets, but she excels in content that requires fighting groups of enemies, so she desperately needs a stable solo carry in the endgame. Her main advantage in combat is staggering enemies and lowering their defenses. Thanks to these crowd control effects and debuffs, monsters die in seconds.
S-rank characters
Here we will look at fighters who are less versatile than S+ rank.
Baicang

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Charms
- Role: main DD
Baikang specializes in Scorch reaction play and prefers to group with his faction, as he gains additional bonuses from teamwork. Among standard heroes, he's the best hyper-carry: he can cover the need for AoE and solo damage with a simple rotation—he applies marks with his active abilities, deals direct damage, and also deals periodic damage via Ignite. The key is to find a good support who can keep the leader, who is actively draining his health, alive.
Jiuyuan

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Anima
- Role: minor DD
As a standalone damage dealer, Juyuan is significantly inferior to other units, so she prefers to support solo carries from the sidelines, gaining power through reactions (primarily Bloom and Charge) or Anima damage. She's easy to control thanks to her high mobility and quick ranged attacks. She's good at storing her own energy, which helps her with a mobile rotation: stack with a skill, detonate them with her ultimate, and then retreat into the "pocket."
Fadia

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Psyche
- Role: tank and secondary DD
The brilliant TOI-4 employee serves as a tank, absorbing the majority of incoming damage and absorbing the health of the most resilient enemies with her "Vampire" skill. Her main task is to split half the damage with the active unit while in the "pocket," use her super to restore her HP, and then leave the field again. This gives the group a kind of "immortality," which will be useful during high-level content.
Adler

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Charms
- Role: shield bug
As an A-class character, he's highly valued at various stages of the game due to his accessibility and effectiveness. Adler's primary role is to protect and strengthen his team: he shields allies with a strong barrier, blocking any enemy attacks, increasing the damage of allied skills, and increasing the effectiveness of white bar penetration. He also debuffs enemies, reducing their ATK and resistances. However, the negative status inflicted is random, so you'll need to be mindful of this if you want to land a spell on an enemy with reduced resistance.
A-rank characters
This category examines the key "espers" in their archetype.
Aurelia

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Psyche
- Role: primary and secondary DD
The first duplicate and signature arc of this heroine can be obtained for free by participating in the in-game login event. She is a hyper-carry with impressive AoE potential—a huge plus for an A-class fighter. She is very independent—in battle, she buffs herself by activating a special state, and her ultimate can pull enemies, making it easier to complete content with multiple enemy waves. She also has mechanics that simplify open-world exploration—she can move through water without spending stamina.
Hathor

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Lakshana
- Role: minor DD
Delivery Girl Hathor — a stable "battery" that thrives in Charge-based commands (quickly accumulating energy for the squad's super abilities, frequent unit swaps, and effective execution of all intended damage). In combat, she buffs herself well—increasing attack speed and attack power, which helps her quickly deal with enemy waves and support her core.
Esper Zero

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Space
- Role: minor DD
Zero, being a free S-unit, can be used as a primary damage dealer at the start, but is best suited as a supporting fighter (driver). His main advantage is a skill that instantly creates an esper cycle (quick switching between characters, massive follow-up damage, and full utilization of every fighter in the group). This advantage allows him to fill a free slot on any team thanks to the Charge, Remora, and Bloom reactions.
Haniel

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Psyche
- Role: gain
Haniel is a classic buffer who can significantly boost allies who rely on ATK. However, she requires a thoughtful build, as her buff's power is directly dependent on the base value of the stat she offers. With constipation, her support potential expands: "Awakening" significantly reduces the skill's cooldown, and she also begins to increase allied critical damage.
B-rank characters
These heroes begin to decline in power near the endgame. Reaching their full potential will require significant investment and teammates with good synergy.
Mint

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Anima
- Role: main DD
Mint is a support character who replenishes your account after completing the prologue. She specializes in dealing damage to multiple enemies, but is also good in single-target encounters thanks to her increased defense and interrupt resistance. She can be a companion for S-class units from Blossom, but over time she will begin to noticeably weaken even with a comparable build.
Skia

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Lakshana
- Role: main DD
Skia is a close-range damage dealer who deals both direct damage and damage over time (via unique marks). After using a skill, he replaces his shadow and can deal damage from underground, ignoring all incoming damage. His passives make close-range combat easier, as they help slow enemies and reduce their attack speed. However, his strength pales in comparison to other hyper-carries due to his low scaling.
C-rank characters
These are weak units that can be easily replaced with more unique allies even after the entire "awakening" is filled.
Edgar

- Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Element: Space
- Role: healer
Edgar is the only healer in the game who can maintain high HP early on. During late-game play, he's often replaced by Fadia or Adler, as he takes up too much time on the field. The problem lies in his healing abilities: to restore health with his ability, he must leave the "pocket" for a long time, and his unique ultimate has a small radius, which further complicates combat.
This rating system helps you understand which units are worth investing in and which aren't. With proper training, any fighter can demonstrate high effectiveness in the battle arena. However, given equal conditions, some characters will always stand out from the crowd.

Cheese has no business being at the top, don't fall for Pridewyn's lies (who was paid to advertise her by the game's publishers, who needed her to promote the City Tycoon mode so that whales would donate to the game's bases). She's a completely useless character (at least in E0S1), a torture to play, and her damage output is a disaster.
I am also of the same opinion.
It doesn't deal any damage because it takes a bit of practice to play. I'm level 50, and it deals nearly 100 damage to every mob in the vicinity with its ult, and that's without skill upgrades or using the hobo console.
You just have to make sure she has plenty of grain. First, you build up her grain with regular attacks/E-key, then use your ultimate to enter the grain market, and at maximum grain levels, press E-key again. This does a ton of damage. By the way, there's a tutorial in the game that explains this, so you can practice.

When will there be a guide for Nunally? Also, can anyone tell me what to do? I keep getting kicked out every 5-20 minutes, graphics are on minimum, and I've tried restarting my device. My phone isn't exactly great, but it handled Genshin, Zenless, Honkai, and Arknights Endfield without me getting kicked out.
Try writing to the developers; there is information about crashes in the notifications, but only for PC.
Thank goodness it's crashing for someone else too. I just recently bought a new phone and already I'm having some problems.
Well, for now, the obvious minus, a very big one for me, is four characters in a pack. It's annoying. But otherwise. The beginning was lively and cheerful, like in "Z."
Isn't four characters in a pack the basis for these kinds of games? I don't remember any gachas with more than four characters.
Well, on the contrary. Too many. 3 is more than enough.
