The best in terms of class gameplay and performance characteristics. The most relevant for pumping now is to bend over at random and perform LBZ.
Hello tankers! Wotpack is with you, and today we have three branches of medium tanks in line, which can currently be recommended for pumping. We have prepared a brief overview of the technique of each of the branches included in the rating.
Overview of the M48A5 Patton branch
One of the first branches of medium tanks, which is still relevant and comfortable to play in random. It is worth pumping for players who are already familiar with the mechanics of level 10 battles, who know and understand the directions of the main attacks on the map and the zones of active penetration of self-propelled guns.
M4A1 Sherman
He has a big silhouette, weak speed and no armor, but still he is one of the most fun tanks at his level. He owes this to the presence of a 105 mm high-explosive, which, together with excellent UVN, allows you to dominate opponents of the same level, prescribing, if not a “one shot”, then definitely removing most of the strength points. And the review is quite good for its level.
M4A3E8 Sherman and M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo
Then there are two M4A3E8 Sherman and M4A3E2 Sherman Jumbo tanks to choose from. The first one is suitable exclusively for firing at a medium distance, it has good dynamics and UVN, but the car does not differ in anything interesting. Another thing is Jumbo, one of the most popular Tier 6 tanks. Not everyone can boast of such a powerful stock package, which is why it is more pleasant in pumping.
The Sherman Jumbo has a very strong stock 152mm turret and strong frontal hull armor at good angles. Facilitates the transfer to the top and the opening of the next car, the ability to install a high-explosive from the previous model and continue to bend fun in random. For the top turret with worse armor, there is a more stable, accurate, and faster-firing gun.
T20
At level 7, a rather interesting model T20, which is a leader at its level in win percentage. Sufficiently weak armor forces you to play hiding in the bushes or behind the backs of your allies. He has a low silhouette, good stats and a decent alpha strike. Dynamics allows you to quickly take comfortable positions, and the review will allow you to see most of the opponents first. Weak hull armor leads to frequent shell shock to the crew or damage to modules. Mediocre maneuverability and gun stabilization make it a weak opponent in dynamic firefights. Can lose a duel to a classmate due to a long cooldown.
M26 Pershing
But at level 8 you have to suffer a little. The tank does not stand out for anything interesting, and almost any CT 8 can lose a duel. It has a weak weapon with very low armor penetration at its disposal. And if the T-44 can compensate for this with mobility, a low silhouette and more ricochet armor, then the Pershing has large dimensions, mediocre mobility, weak armor and high module criticality. Therefore, it either takes a long time to pass, or to charge gold. Some players passed this car on the front line, where you can save on projectiles without harming your account statistics.
M46 Patton
As in the case with the previous branch, the gameplay inherent in the top begins to take shape at level 9. The M46 Patton is a rather creative tank that can be used in different ways on the battlefield, depending on the situation. The firepower is much higher than its predecessor, you just have to tighten up until you transfer to the top. The new gun has good stabilization, comfortable HVL, fast aiming and high DPM due to the large alpha. The dynamics have become better, the review is excellent. There are not so many disadvantages: mediocre armor penetration, again no armor and accuracy leaves much to be desired.
M48A5 Patton
The crown of the American ST branch is universal and, perhaps, the most “creative” among level 10 classmates. Like its predecessor, it can be used in many areas as a support or breakthrough tank, teaming up with other CTs. However, sometimes it is difficult to keep up with other classmates due to the low top speed.
Among the strengths of the tank, excellent air defense and a strong turret (although a hatch on top of a noticeable size) allow you to play from the terrain in the most unusual places, and a better view among classmates will help you spot enemies entrenched in an ambush. Despite the large dimensions, it has good flotation, dynamics and maneuverability. The gun is distinguished by excellent stabilization in motion, high accuracy and fast aiming.
M48A5 Patton can be called "golden mean" among level 10 STs. It is not without flaws, but they fade against the background of its advantages, but still the tank is demanding on the player's skills, because rash actions will lead to a direct road to the Hangar.
