Kuro Games shared the first trailer for the upcoming collaboration. Wuthering Waves with the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The video introduced Lucy and Rebecca, who will become playable Resonators as part of the collaboration. According to early reports, both women wield pistols, and their elements are Spectro and Havok.
Key announcements:
- Free Rebecca - probably as a reward for participating in an event or logging into the game;
- The collaboration is scheduled to start in June and is timed to coincide with the release of the 3.4 update, which is tentatively scheduled for release on June 8.
Judging by the trailer footage, the crossover will bring not only new characters but also full-fledged content:
- story quest featuring characters from Lahai Roi. Since CD Projekt Red is usually careful about maintaining canon, it is expected that the story will be closely connected to the anime;

- separate location, stylized in the Cyberpunk aesthetic. The teaser showed a shot of Night City, hinting at the appearance of a futuristic city in the game's world. However, this may not be a standard area, but rather a territory dedicated to a special event, as was the case with Honami in 2.8 version.

The video also ended with a glimpse of the anime's main character, David. However, he will likely only have a cameo role in the story.

Official teaser for the collaboration:

Well, there's a version skip here, unfortunately. I hope they make a decent and interesting quest.
The models look cool, but why the collaboration was with these particular characters is debatable.
Why is it controversial? Besides David, only Lucy and Rebecca are in the top popularity charts. Trigger isn't making David a playable character in the collaboration for some reason. Or did you mean the original game? It's an edgerunner collaboration, not the main game.
How completely out of place. Just like the Cyberpunk anime itself. Basically, without Keanu, there's no Cyberpunk. They wouldn't have enough money for Konstantin, of course.
ExoStrider has already found an inscription in the language used in Warframe. People are speculating about a possible future collaboration. In principle, all these Sonoro spheres are the perfect place for such a thing. Whether it's with The Witcher or Star Wars, it wouldn't be a problem to fit it into the story.
We waited a long time, I even managed to drop the game.
And by God, it would have been better if they had added Kiwi.
