In HSR, March 7 (The Hunt: Imaginary) is a free epic rarity character that can be obtained by completing the Luofu Xianzhou campaign. Unlike the one of the Preservation Path, the new characyer plays the role of a secondary DPS with skills aimed at a single enemy target. The list of active abilities, in turn, contains not only the standard regular attack, skill and super ability. In addition to them, the arsenal of attack skills includes a bonus blow and an enhanced basic technique. The latter becomes available upon reaching a certain number of "Charge" levels.
For accumulating the named unique resource March appeals to her Shifu: by using the skill on the selected ally, the Nameless appoints them as her personal Shifu, who receives additional bonuses depending on their path, and also strengthens the heroine herself. Thus, a synergy is obtained, which leads to a close interaction of two units on the battlefield.

How do March 7's skills work?

The Nameless following the Path of the Hunt is a secondary DPS unit that specializes in dealing damage to a single target, as well as supporting a specific ally. The girl is able to assign a squad member as her Shifu, which allows them to receive certain enhancements depending on the path they occupy. The girl herself accumulates special charges during the battle, which, if enough, advance her action and increase the amount of outgoing damage.
The Imaginary damage of the ability scales with attack power(ATK).
Active skills
Feast in One Go || Boost
If the girl is in the squad, she will receive 1 Charge at the start of the next battle whenever an ally uses a technique. The maximum amount of Charges that can be received is 3.
After using the technique, the heroine restores 30 energy in the next battle.
My Sword Zaps Demons || Single attack
Deals imaginary damage to one enemy (50-130%) and gives 1 Charge.
Brows Be Smitten, Heart Be Bitten || Single attack
Performs 3 hits, each of which deals imaginary damage (40-104%) to one opponent. After the final blow is delivered, there is a fixed chance of 60% to perform 1 additional attack (max 3).
In addition, the ability comes with the following side effects:
- Energy recovery from using enhanced b/a does not increase depending on the number of hits performed.
- Enhanced b/a does not restore skill points.
Master, It's Tea Time! || Support
Designates one of the allies (except March 7 herself) as a Shifu and increases their speed by 6-12%.
After using a normal or enhanced b/a, offers the Shifu one of the effects, depending on their Path:
- Erudition, Destruction, The Hunt: deals additional damage (damage type depends on the Shifu's element) equal to 10-25% of ATK;
- Harmony, Nihility, Abundance, Preservation: increases the Shifu's elemental vulnerability break effect by 100%.
March 7th, the Apex Heroine || Single Attack
Deals Imaginary damage (144-288%) to one enemy. Increases the chance to increase the number of hits of the next enhanced basic attack by 2, also increases the fixed chance to deal additional damage by 20%.
Passive Skills
Master, I've Ascended! || Strengthening
After the Master uses a skill or ultimate, the Nameless gains 1 Charge (max 10). When the number of Charges becomes 7 or more, the heroine's action advances and her damage increases by 40-100%. Her basic attack also changes to a stronger one, and her skill becomes unusable.
After using the enhanced b/a, 7 Charges are spent, and their accumulation goes on.
Leveling Order
Basic attack > talent/skill > ult
During the battle, the heroine uses almost all abilities, but for convenience, they can be upgraded in the following order:
- Basic attack - The main damage comes from the enhanced b/a, which the girl uses after accumulating 7 Charges.
- Talent - A useful ability that allows you to swap Charges for stronger attacks, and also increases the power of damage dealt by the Nameless One after spending Charges.
- Skill - Assigns a squad member as a Shifu and increases their speed. Additionally, deals third-party DPS or increases break effect depending on the Shifu's path.
- Ultimate - offers good damage, and also increases the chances of delivering additional blows with enhanced attacks.
Traces
After leveling up all the traces, the total increase in the heroine’s characteristics will be:
- ATK - 28%.
- crit dmg — 24%.
- defense - 12.5%.
| Attack Power +4% | |||
| Swan Soar: At the beginning of the battle, the heroine's action advances by 25%. | Crit. damage +5.3% | Attack Power +4% | |
| Defense +5% | |||
| Cleave With Heart: The girl can reduce the toughness bar of enemies depending on the type of the Shifu's element. When the vulnerability is broken, she activates the effect of imaginary break. | Attack Power +6% | Crit. damage +8% | |
| Attack Power +6% | |||
| Tide Tamer: After using an enhanced basic crit attack. The Shifu's damage increases by 60%, and their break effect by 36%. The effect lasts 2 turns. | Defense +7.5% | Crit. damage +10.7% | Attack Power +8% |
Eidolons
The best Eidolons for March 7 Hunt are E1, E2 and E6:
- First eidolon gives additional speed, which allows the girl to take action more often. This somewhat simplifies the selection of relics and makes it possible not to look for a lot of speed in the characteristics.
- Second eidolon opens the character's ability to use bonus attacks and deal additional damage once per turn after the Shifu uses a b/a or skill. In addition, the ability gives Charges, which speeds up their collection and activation of the talent as a result.
- Sixth Eidolon, like the first one, is aimed at balancing the girl's characteristics. Since most of her damage comes from enhanced b/a, the increase in crit rate is a pretty nice addition to the stats.
| 1 | My Sword Stirs Starlight | When the Shifu is on the battlefield, March 7's speed increases by 10%. |
| 2 | Blade Dances on Waves' Fight | After Shifu uses a basic attack or skill, March 7 immediately performs a bonus attack and deals imaginary damage equal to 60% of her attack power to the first target hit. Additionally, an effect depending on the Path of Shifu is activated and 1 unit is given. Charge. If there is no target on the field to attack, then March 7 attacks a random target. The effect occurs once per turn. |
| 3 | Sharp Wit in Martial Might | Skill level increases by 2. Maximum level is 15. Basic attack level increases by 1. Maximum level is 10. |
| 4 | Being Fabulous Never Frights | At the beginning of the turn, restores 5 units. energy. |

| 6 | Me, the Best Girl in Sight | After using the ultimate crit damage of your next empowered basic attack is increased by 50%. |
How to Play Imaginary March 7 (The Hunt) in HSR

Acting as a secondary damage dealer, the Nameless from the Astral Express deals most of her damage with an enhanced basic attack that can be activated after reaching 7 Charges. The heroine receives this unique resource when activating the following skills:
- Basic attack.
- Any active skill of Shifu.
- Shifu's superpower.
- allied techniques.
- A bonus attack that is unlocked through Eidolons.
Any unit on which the girl used her skill can become the character's Shifu. As a result, the integral gameplay for the heroine consists of assigning one of the allies as a Shifu at the very beginning of the battle, and then gaining Charges and inflicting additional DPS.
The full rotation for March 7 is as follows:
- Before the battle, use the heroine's technique to restore energy, as well as the techniques of allies to get 3 Charges.
- At the beginning of the battle, use the girl's skill on one of the allies to speed them up and assign them a Shifu.
- Use the Shifu's ultimate, then deal damage with their attack. If the Nameless One has her E2 unlocked, she will use the bonus attack.
- On the next turn of the Hunt character, use her basic attack to restore skill points and get the last 7 Charge. If the heroine has accumulated an ult, activate it, and then press the enhanced basic attack.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Having figured out how the skills work, we can draw a conclusion about the heroine’s “pros” and “cons”:
| Strengths | Weaknesses |
| Availability. Is one of the free characters, and the Path of the Hunt is unlocked after completing the story, which makes the character accessible and inexpensive for most players. Eidolons are also given out through one of the permanent events. | Single target damage. Is the Hunt character, so all damage goes exclusively to one enemy. |
| Flexibility. The heroine deals damage to one target, has the ability to break vulnerabilities faster, and also increases the speed of Shifu, which opens the way for her to join any squads. | Needs careful selection of Shifu, since the effects of their Paths vary. There may be a moment in battle when the Shifu's enhancement does not suit the situation on the battlefield. |
| Easy to build. The unit needs attack power and crit. damage/crit. chance. Speed is not one of the most important stats. | |
| Strong eidolons that change gameplay. Upon receiving the second eidolon, the girl becomes able to perform powerful bonus attacks that increase the character’s overall damage and speed up the accumulation of Charges. |

| Boots | Speed |
| Planar Sphere | Bonus imaginary type |

- Speed: 122+ (1 at E134) or 133+ (to get 1 with E145)
- ATK: 2+.
- CRIT Rate: 70%+ for playing with the Arena ornaments. Ideally, it is recommended to score 75%-80% so that all enhanced basic attacks crit.
- CRIT DMG: 150%+.
- Break effect: 140%+.
- Health: 3+
Light Cone Rating
The heroine's weapon should not only belong to her path, but also have properties that are useful to her, increasing damage or helping with the balance of characteristics.
| Name | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 43-952 ATK: 24-529 Defense: 21-463 | CRIT chance increases by 8-16%. Crit chance against enemies with HP less than or equal to 50% is additionally increased by 8-16%. When the wearer defeats an opponent, their attack power increases by 20-40% for 2 turns. | A F2P variant of Light Cone that provides a lot of Critical Chance, which the Hunt representative really needs. Plus, if she lands the finishing blow, she'll get a large ATK boost. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 48-1058 ATK: 26-582 Defense: 21-463 | Critical Chance increases by 18-30%, and damage from a bonus attack is reduced 30-50%. After performing a bonus attack, it imposes the Tame status on the target, which can stack up to 2 times. When an ally hits an enemy with the Tame status, each level of this status increases crit damage by 12-20%. | The weapon provides a good boost to crit chance, but the rest of the passive will only work if you have E2. Cone increases the unit's support potential, as it is also aimed at supporting allies with third-party bonuses. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP 38-846 ATK 21-476 DEF 18-396 | Break effect is increased by 28-56%. At the start of a battle or after dealing break damage, the speed increases by 8-12% for 2 turns. The effect can only be triggered once per turn. | The optimal weapon option if the heroine plays through break. An additional advantage of this light cone is the speed increase, which is triggered at the beginning of the battle, and then given on a permanent basis after breaking the enemy's vulnerability. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 38-846 ATK: 21-476 Defense: 18-396 | At the beginning of the battle, the carrier's speed increases by 8-12%, and its damage is by 12-24%. This effect ends when the wearer takes damage and reappears at the end of the next turn. | An excellent 4 ⭐ cone that gives speed and an increase in damage power for the character, but the boost disappears after receiving enemy hits. For stable operation of the cone, it is recommended to take a good shielder into the squad, which will allow you not to lose the buff. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 43-952 ATK: 21-476 Defense: 15-330 | When the wearer attacks the same enemy multiple times, the damage they deal increases by 8-16%. This effect can stack up to 5 times and is removed when the owner changes their target. | Nameless's enhanced basic attack can deal 3 to 8 hits, and after using her ult, she is guaranteed to attack 5 times, giving her the maximum damage buff. The cone is best suited for fighting bosses. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 43-952 ATK: 26-582 Defense: 24-529 | Crit. damage increases by 20-32%. For each debuff present on the enemy crit damage dealt by the wearer to this target is increased by an additional 8-12%. This effect can stack up to 3 times. Using a superpower to attack a target grants the owner the Disputation status, which increases damage dealt by 36-60% and allows the bonus attack to ignore 24-40% of enemy defense. This effect lasts for 2 turns. | A narrowly focused cone of light on the crit dmg that further increases this stat depending on the presence of debuffs on enemies. Can be equipped when playing in a team with Nihility characters. |
![]() ⭐⭐⭐⭐ HP: 43-952 ATK: 21-476 Defense: 15-330 | ATK is increased by 16-32%. If there are 2 or fewer enemies on the battlefield, crit. the owner's chance increases by 12-24%. | A cone of light that provides important stats such as ATK and dmg. The only condition for activating the second part of the weapon's passive ability is the presence of one or two enemies on the battlefield. When playing with this cone, try to quickly destroy the weakest creatures to reduce their number to the desired value. |

For the four parts of the set to work fully in the squad, a character of Nihility or a high level of break for the Ensnared status is required (Welt will do). |
![]() | 2 Piece: increases damage against debuffed enemies by 12%. 4 Piece: increases crit. 4% chance. Crit Damage to enemies with 2/3 debuffs increases by 8%/12% respectively. When the wearer applies a Debuff to an enemy, the effects are increased by 100% for 1 turn. | Quite a strong option with increased damage, as well as receiving additional crits. The set only works if there are various ways to apply debuffs. |
![]() | 2 Piece: increases attack power by 12%. 4 Piece: increases crit. 6% chance. After using a bonus attack, increases your super damage by 36% for one turn. | Attack power boost and extra crit. a chance that March 7 badly needs. In addition, when using this set, it is recommended to hold your ult until activating the bonus attack to receive the buff. |
![]() + Watchmaker, Master of Dream Machinations Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge | 2 Piece: increases break effect by 16%. 2 Piece: increases break effect by 16%. | If you want to build the Imaginary Nameless into break, you can take two parts from any set for this characteristic. Since there are several break sets in the game, it is much easier to choose an option with the best stats. |
![]() | 2 Piece: increases break effect by 16%. 4 Piece: if break effect is greater than or equal to 150%, then when dealing break damage the wearer ignores 10% of the enemy's defense. If break effect is greater than or equal to 250%, their super break damage ignores 15% of defense. | Alternative break set. For the full set to work, it is mandatory to have the Imaginary MC in the team to deal super break damage. |
Planar ornaments
| The set is | Description | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
![]() | 2 Piece: increases attack power by 12%. If there is another ally of the same Path in battle, then crit. the chance increases by 12%. | Attack power and crit. chance ornaments. To activate the passive, there must be another Hunt character in the squad, in addition to March 7. This can be either the main damage dealer or, for example, Topaz for playing through bonus attacks with E2. |
![]() | 2 Piece: increases break effect by 16%. If the speed is higher than or equal to 145, break effect is additionally increased by 20%. | The best set for playing through break effect. To implement the second part of the passive, you need to gain 145 speed, which is much easier with the first eidolon open. |

|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | One of the best teams for March 7 is through bonus attacks, which requires opening her second eidolon. ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() | An alternative squad through break with March 7, which is also collected in this characteristic. Conclusion
Epic March 7 (The Hunt: Imaginary) is a great standard character of her path, who occupies the position of additional DPS support. Her abilities combine both damaging enemies and strengthening one ally => Shifu. Between the mentor and the Nameless, a synergy is formed, where the girl also receives buffs depending on the Path and element of the hero. Being a fairly versatile character, the girl is able to enter almost any team that needs an imaginary representative and passive restoration of action points, including break teams.
We hope this guide helped you put together the best build for March 7 (The Hunt), the Nameless from Astral Express in Honkai: Star Rail. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them incomments.
