Mint points to tetromino

Modules in NTE are the tetromino-shaped figures, which fill the character's console. When installed, they provide stat boosts and also activate the Cartridge bonuses. During the story campaign,Esper Zero is given a basic set of this B-Class equipment, but the tutorial notes provide no information on where to obtain it while exploring the open world.

Where to get modules in Neverness to Everness

You cannot obtain your console parts directly. To get them, you'll need to accumulate special currency and play a mini-game.

Earn carrota coins

Open the Rabbit Hole anomaly zone in Cape Square, New Herland, and complete any challenge level for 40 Esper Pixels:

  • Clock Tricks
  • Sculpture Gallery
  • Latitude Loom
  • Defend the Radish
  • Mental Map
  • Night of the Rails

It's advisable to enter the room from which, after killing regular and elite enemies, you'll get the necessary artifacts for your heroes. Along with them, you'll receive carrota coins - copper, silver, and gold. The rarity of the currency depends on the hunter's level and appraisal level.

Use the "Rewind" system

Once the main resource has been accumulated, proceed to the "Character" section ssing the corresponding icon on your smartphone (or the "C" key by default), and open the "Console." You'll see the Rewind challenge in the lower left corner.

Select any of the available difficulties:

  1. "Easy" - blue modules.
  2. "Normal" - purple modules.
  3. "Hard" - Legendary modules (unlocked at Hunter level 30).

Then 'rewind' x1 or x10 to start the mini-game.

Please note that after unlocking the "Normal" stage, the second farming category becomes available, allowing you to select up to eight module skins to increase your drop chances. This system makes it easier to obtain the specific Tetriminos needed to activate the full set effect. However, they will come at a price of higher difficulty.

Use the Hamster Ball anomaly furniture

This anomalous item is located in the Eden Apartments and is a unique gift from delivery girls HathorTo get it, you need to knock out the standard S-heroine from "Strange Encounters", or pull it out of selector.

You can obtain one module daily. Rarity depends on the pet's level, which is increased by spending small melon seeds.

How to improve the console module

Upgrading 4 modules of any rarity to level 5 is one of the quests in the "Exploration Guide," which teaches the mechanics of upgrading hero gear. To complete it:

  • In the "Inventory" tab, open the "Console" and click on "Details" for the selected tetramino;
  • Using development materials - Manhole Thug, Manhole Crook, and Manhole Boss - learn additional attributes.

This way you'll gradually level up your team. If you're having trouble fighting, we recommend checking out the separate guide on setting up a strong team. Use the tier-list to find out which Esper is considered the best in each category.

It's worth noting that a hamster appears in the second apartment, which drops one module per day. With Hathor's help, you can level it up to have a good chance of dropping a gold module. It's noticeable at the start; I don't think it's worth getting Hathor for this, but if you do get one, it's good to know.
