Night Stardust in Palworld: Where to Get It and What It's For

Night Stardust is a unique endgame material in Pal world, which is required to craft top-tier weapons and mobility accessories. It's not sold by merchants, so it must be collected manually: in sandy biomes at night, following glowing spots. An alternative method is to kill or capture rare Pals in late-game locations.

Where to find Night Stardust in Palworld

There are two ways to obtain the resource:

• Collect at night in sandy areas.
• Dropped from two types of high-level Palas.

The easiest option is to visit several farming spots and collect the required amount. While farming, we recommend changing your world settings so you can visit all the spots in one night.

Set the "Time Speed ​​(Day)" parameter to the maximum (5) and the "Time Speed ​​(Night)" parameter to the minimum (0,1). This will allow you to quickly wait for darkness and give you enough time to gather the resource.

Dry dunes

The island in the northeast of the archipelago is entirely covered in sand, and there are two points suitable for quick collection:

• Near the Sandhills Watchtower: Teleport and drop down to the lowlands northwest of the tower.

  

  

• Beyond the Paladius boss arena: resources spawn significantly less here, and the area is much more dangerous due to the proximity to powerful Paladins.

  

  

Fabrake Island

The southwestern biome is best suited for quickly gathering glowing sand. There are several locations along the coast:

• Dried-out Coast - From the Scarlet Cliff teleporter, head down to the beach to the south.

  

  

• Ashland - located north of the previous farming location, next to the fast travel point of the same name.

  

  

• On the beach at Crooked Hills - from the island's northern teleporter, go down to the pointed shore, in the corner of which there is an air defense missile launcher.

  

  

• On the northwest coast near the Eagle Statue "Desert Ash Plateau" - all deposits are located on the shore.

  

  

From which fires does the night stardust fall?

There are only two fireballs in the game that drop glowing sand:

• Starrion Primo - 1-2 units, 100% probability;
• Wistella - 1-2 units, 100% probability.

Hunting them for resources is extremely ineffective. They inhabit only the barrier-protected area of ​​the World Tree.

Why do we need night stardust?

The need for this resource arises as the tech tree advances, and glowing sand becomes useful for the first time at level 28. It is primarily used in the production of high-tech weapons and mobility-enhancing accessories.

Weapon

From Night Dust you can create:

• Improved bow;
• Energy sword.

Both weapons are unlocked at Tech Level 57 and require 20 Glow Dust each.

Each weapon has upgraded versions that can only be obtained through blueprints. The higher the weapon's grade, the more Night Sand it requires:

• first rank - 25 units;
• the second - 30 units;
• third - 35 units;
• fourth - 40 units.

Tools

In this category only Metal detectorIt's used to discover hidden resources underground. Crafting requires collecting 20 units of Glowing Sand.

Travel accessories

All available accessories are divided into four functional groups:

• Anti-gravity belt - passively increases the character's base jump height.
• Double and Triple Jump Boots - Add the ability to perform additional jumps in the air.
• Air Dash Boots - Allows you to dash while flying or jumping.
• Air walkers are advanced equipment that is created exclusively using found blueprints.

Night Stardust isn't sold by merchants; it can only be collected at night from glowing patches of sand. It's best to start farming in the Withered Dunes, later moving on to the more dangerous Faebreak Island. However, hunting high-level Pallbearers for it is pointless—it'll take too long.
