Tired of turbo drains and inadequate allies that merge in the first minutes of the battle? Are you waiting for the nerf of the “wheelers” and the actualization of slow vehicles? But the developers decided to introduce a new branch into the game Chinese heavy tanks in World of Tanks with rocket (jet) boosters.
How users joke on social networks, the game on the background rebranding should be renamed from "World of Tanks" to "Fast and Furious: Chinese Drift". Jokes are jokes, but the idea itself is non-standard, and representatives of the new branch can articles, if not imbes, then quite interesting machines. The mechanics are a bit like Polish medium tanks with a gas turbine engine and turbo mode.
How jet acceleration mechanics work in World of Tanks
New mechanics at the moment of acceleration increases engine power and gives a noticeable increase in acceleration and maximum speed (only forward!). At the beginning of the battle, boosters will need 5 seconds to charge (everything will be displayed on a special indicator). At the moment of acceleration, the tank receives an increase in engine power and a starting "pulse", a kind of jerk.
You can see more in the video how acceleration looks and works:
It is worth considering a couple of important nuances in the work of the new mechanics:
- The vehicle is practically unable to turn, the momentum is aimed at accelerating along a straight path.
- You can't drive backwards.
- It is impossible to cancel the effect of the acceleration before the full consumption of one charge.
- After using the acceleration, you need to wait for the recharge of the accelerators - 5 seconds.
One-time effect duration from rocket fuel - 10 seconds, and you can use it for battle 4 times. As soon as the indicator "goes out", it means that the system for accelerating itself has exhausted itself before the end of the battle.
List of equipment and release dates of the branch
The transition to the branch of Chinese heavy tanks with rocket boosters will start from Type 58:
- VII level - BZ-58
- Level VIII - BZ-166
- Level IX - BZ-68
- X level - BZ-75
Also under it will be a special premium BZ-176, which will definitely be in New Year's boxes, and the branch itself will be released in January 2023 of the year. A new jet boost mechanic will be added to each tank in the branch, only the amount of rocket fuel used and the duration of the effect will differ.
