
"A New Flock for the Brotherhood" is a task in Gothic 1 remake to attract disciples for the cult. This is a must if you're looking to impress the guru of Thondral and plan to join the Swamp Brotherhood. Find a miner in the ore baron's territory who wants to replace him. faction, and bring him to the idol.
How to start quest
The mission "A New Flock for the Brotherhood" can be acquired from Dusty the Miner in the Old Camp or from Guru Thondral in the Cultist Camp. This option only affects the initial portion of the quest; the final objective is the same for both characters.

How to get Dusty to Swamp Camp
The return journey can be a challenge for an unprepared hero, thanks to scavengers, mole rats, hornets, lizards, and the occasional wolves. While it's possible to run past these monsters alone, that won't work with Dusty: he'll need to be protected the entire way.
Before choosing "I'm ready. We can go to the Swamp Camp.", we recommend:
- find scraper's clothesto take less damage;
- get good weapon - for example, pick up Morgenstern in the hut Fisk;
- Complete other quests - this will raise your level, get additional SP for leveling up from mentors and earn ore (if you don't want to fight the guards at the southern gate, you need to accumulate 100 pieces).
When everything is ready, inform the miner and leave the area through southern entrance. Having bribed the guards (phrase "We need some fresh air. Here are a hundred pieces."), you can leave calmly. With other answer options have to fight.
Be careful on the way: when Dusty's HP drops to 0, he'll collapse and lose consciousness. Clear the area of monsters and wait for the NPC to recover—only then can you continue on your way.
