ZZZ 2.7 Update: Release Date, Banners, and Characters

In the update Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 proxies will participate in the "Cavern Champions" tournament and compete for the grand prize of an amplifier capable of stabilizing the broadcast. Representatives from the Department of Law Enforcement, the Krampus watchdog, and new faces from Sky Island, the region where the events of the third chapter of the story unfold, will attend the competition.

The first and second phases of the patch will introduce new agents, the leader of the Angels of Delusion, and a Security Service agent, as well as reruns of familiar Legendaries. The update also includes numerous temporary activities with Polychrome rewards, updates to permanent modes, and minor improvements to profile customization and inventory filtering.

Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 release date

Version 2.7 will start March 24, 2026Pre-loading will become available in the launcher a couple of days before the release, and server maintenance will begin approximately six hours beforehand. Afterward, a compensation of 600 Polychromes will be sent to your in-game email.

What will be the banners

The official ZZZ 2.7 broadcast revealed the signal search schedule:

• The first half will see the release of the leader of "Angels of Obsession" Nangong Yu and the storyteller's reran Yidhari.
• In the second phase, inspectors will appear Cissia and the bellows operator Sid.

The first phase

Dates: from March 24 to April 15, 2026

In banners 5⭐ Nangong Yu (Intimidation, Ether) и Yidhari (Destruction, Ice) the chance of getting A-rank agents will increase Nicole (Support, Ether) и Piper (Anomaly, Physical).

New content

In addition to the release of a new story about the proxy's adventures, three types of weapons, artifact sets, and an exclusive outfit for an idol group member will be added.

Continuation of the Main Line

Edmund, one of the TOP leaders, organized a real show with famous proxy agents: in the epilogue of the second season, "New Sunset over New Eridu," a "Champions of the Caverns" tournament will take place, sponsored by the organization "Rusty Cliff." The main prizes will be Denny, equipment for exploring dangerous zones with etherials, and a rare amplifier made of Flint's Lumialloy.

Amplifiers

Two legendary guns and one epic one will be added to the game:

• 5⭐ Neon Obsession — "ball" for the Intimidation class with the "anomaly control" stat.
• 5⭐ Reptilocator — an Attack cannon with the main stat "energy restoration".
• 4⭐ The Seething Cauldron — a reward for completing the main event of the Intimidation Agent version. Increases the owner's stun and damage after assisting in defense.

Drive disks

Two sets of vinyl records will be added for old and new characters:

• Notes from a Trap — Two pieces buff ice damage. A full set increases "knowledge" after applying Chaos. When Freezing is activated, the damage from triggering anomalies or any white reactions is increased.
• White Bunny in Wonderland — Grants an HP buff. The four-piece set's effect only works on Defense Agents: after the wearer's attack is boosted or a defense/evasion assist is applied, the team's damage is increased. This effect stacks up to three times.

Wardrobe update

Nangong Yu will receive the gothic-style "Muse of Rhapsody" alternate outfit. It will be discounted during the patch, with the starting price set at 1350 Monochrome. After the promotion ends, the outfit will be available for purchase at the standard price of 1680 donation currency.

Dynamic wallpaper

By leveling up your friendship with all AOD members, you'll unlock a bonus main menu screensaver featuring the girls' room. This promotion is permanent—if you haven't yet collected all the "angels," you can do so in a rerun.

What events will there be?

In addition to the main event, there will be several other combat and arcade activities:

• "New Delivery" with cipher copies in the first phase and the login event with banbuletami in the second.
• Troubles and hotpots — a restaurant simulator. The amplifier is a reward with materials for leveling up its rank.
  
• Special Ether Disaster Response Team - relay battles of two agents.
  
• New orders, old friends - small combat runs with old heroes.
  
• Footage from the cavern — puzzles with a business card for profile design as a reward.
  
• Review Battle: No Negativity — combating bad reviews of establishments.
  
• Combat Test: The Ninth Wave — Updated combat mode inside the "tower" at the AIK club.
  

Other innovations

Among the improvements announced were minor changes to make the interface easier to use:

• They will simplify the process of creating a profile.
• For titles that unlock in stages, you'll be able to select the desired phase to display on your profile.
• A search bar by name will be added for amplifiers.
