- base armor-piercing projectile 240 mm (1067 m / s), which is one of the worst indicators for a level 9 TT;

The turret traverse speed is very slow, mediocre stabilization and for a long time information does not allow effective exchange of fire in dynamic battles and hitting from the "top". At the same time, he has low accuracy, so you need to play only at close range and best of all from positioning.
The reload time is long, as a result, despite the outstanding alpha, the average damage per minute is inferior to all American level 9 TTs. The tank has good elevation angles -2…+25°, so it feels confident when playing from the terrain.
Vitality and armor T54
Health Points 1700 units - this is very small and reduces the chances of success in a 1v1 duel. On the numbers, frontal armor looks interesting, but in fact this tank is not suitable for a breakthrough and head-to-head fights in general.
It is worth playing carefully from the boards, as they have low security. T54 big NLD, it will not be difficult to aim and break through it, and the “concrete” tower at first glance has notable commander's cupola, which is also easy to break through.
The turret is located on the right side, so when playing from defense, you can try to hide it. In general, the tank is more prone to blocking the breakthrough of enemy vehicles while behind cover, so it has the greatest chance of realizing its potential.
Mobility and intelligence
T54 mobility is sad, in this regard it inferior to all tanksselected for comparison. The maximum speed of 34 km / h is small, but at the same time it still has a low specific power of 14,46 hp / t, so even it is not able to gain it quickly. However, its cross-country ability on different types of soil is acceptable, so it keeps the gained speed well. The situation is similar with the speed of rotation of the chassis - the T54 has poor maneuverability, so it is very easy to spin it.
He was lucky at least with observation - viewing radius 400 meters, which is very good for level 9.

The choice of additional modifications for the T54 is complicated by the fact that here the reduction of almost any parameter is undesirable for it. You can go to reduce the dynamics, maximum speed or turret rotation only according to the principle “well, it won’t get worse” or “What is already dead cannot die.”
To prevent the situation from getting worse, we recommend taking only “Soundproofing” in the 3rd slot in order to reduce the influence of artillery and more calmly win back in position. The review here is good, so a loss of 3% can be experienced.
All other modules are a purely individual choice, which you can refuse, as an option, you can still consider the Power take-off setting (scheme 1) in the 4th slot if you play in the defensive position. With this gameplay, the loss in turret traverse speed will not be felt as much, but +2 km/h to reverse will help you roll into cover faster.
How to play T54 Heavy Tank
T54 Heavy Tank belongs to the category "Universal". Dynamics and armor are not enough to break through enemy positions, but you can play the role of fire support, hiding behind allies or hiding behind the terrain.
