The developers announced a new branch of heavy tanks and briefly talked about the gameplay and performance characteristics.
Hello tankers! With you Wotpack and a brief overview Czechoslovak heavy tanks in World of Tanks. After the fiasco with Italian bands, which most of the players and bloggers criticized to smithereens, the developers got together and decided to roll out something interesting.
New technology will be different having two guns, but not in the same sense as the double-barreled TTs of the USSR, but there will be exactly two guns in the pumping tree:
- drum
- with cyclic recharge
Before testing, we are assured that both guns will be identical in performance characteristics and the difference is only in reloading, they say this will allow each player to choose a more congenial gameplay and customize the car.
A new branch of Czechoslovakian heavy tanks opens with Skoda T 25.
Skoda T 45
Premium tank level 7 Skoda T 45 is already completely ready and is now sold for bonds in the Ranked Battles store. It bears a strong resemblance to German technology judging by the appearance of the hull and turret. In battle, the machine of stars from the sky is not enough:
- quite gold-dependent and the gun cannot be called comfortable;
- however, it can handle most TT missions thanks to its good combination of armor and mobility.
Skoda T 56
Another prem - Skoda T 56, but already level 8. A distinctive feature is the large caliber of the 130 mm gun, like part of the tier 10 cords. Therefore, he also has an unrealistically large alpha, as for a drum band, therefore, in 4 seconds, he is able to halve or deprive at least 1/3 of the safety margin of any one-level enemy.
The basic armor penetration is rather low, but on gold it can annihilate everything and everyone with a 290 mm penetration with a cumulative projectile. Booking is not bad, but mobility is depressing. You can read more about it in separate review.
Vz. 44-1
A branch of new strands begins with Vz. 44-1 at 7 level. Unremarkable car, which simply serves as a smooth transition from class CT to TT. Therefore, the gameplay will be neither there nor here. In general, one of those tanks that pass and forget.
THINKING 105/1000
The first truly heavy tank of this branch is waiting for us at level 8 TNH 105/1000. The project itself was developed already in the post-war period, therefore, in terms of development, the engineers were inspired not only by German tanks, but also by Soviet ones, which by that time were already in service in Czechoslovakia.
It can boast of good mobility and a margin of safety. The review is also one of the best among classmates. Right here for the first time a drum for 2 shells appears and at the same time there is exactly the same alternative gun, but with a cyclic reload.
TNH T Vz. 51
At level 9, the car has already got rid of the German inheritance and TNH T Vz. 51 much more reminiscent of Soviet technology. Compared with its predecessor, the armor has significantly increased, and consequently, survivability.
The caliber of the gun has become larger, which has a positive effect on one-time damage and, at the same time, shooting comfort has increased.
Vz. 55
In the top of the branch of Czechoslovakian strands Vz. 55 The influence of Soviet developments is most clearly manifested:
- cast turret with good armor;
- elements of the running gear (suspension brackets, balancers, shock absorbers, bump stop);
- although the hull of the tank is original (Czechoslovak), but the connections of the armor plates also have similarities with the Soviet tank building.
For comparison, the developers suggest looking at IS-7, 277 object и Vz. 55. It can be noted from the general:
- fairly low profile;
- reliable booking;
- proportional body length.
It is known that accuracy and timing will be mediocre, but the developers promise it compensate for good stabilization, so that the "vetertuhans" should fly in. In the drum, CD between shots will make 3 seconds. Developers conceive Vz. 55 as a melee vehicle, although it is difficult to do this with a 1800 HP margin, since this is the worst indicator among the TT-10s.
They believe that in this case a large alpha and good stabilization are sufficient. Especially if you use a drum.
Conclusion
Undoubtedly, the new branch will arouse interest among the players (and many simply have accumulated a decent amount of Czechoslovakian national blueprints). At first glance, there is a proportional increase in performance characteristics for each next tank of this branch, while maintaining it distinctive features:
- drum for 2 shells
- the presence of two top guns to choose from
The current indicators are not final, the developers will still change them 100%. Add the article to bookmarks, who are interested in the fate of this branch, we will gradually add links to reviews of pumped equipment here.

'Katyusha' should be introduced even then. How it came in one gulp and pezdyts))
It has long been clear that there is no smell of historicity. Incomprehensible tanks are added, in a random house in one battle there are tanks of different time periods. If you add Poland, Czechoslovakia, Italy, then why is there no Israel?!!!
Tell me why you add so many drums? the balance is already broken, and why is the IS 7 still without a drum? He should have it. Upload mouse, M4 and other old tanks are better under modern randomness !!!!
the balance is already broken, and why is the IS 7 still without a drum?
Are you on a roll?
The developers already have enough visionaries of non-existing tanks to clip!
The author, where did this come from, "developed already in the post-war", etc., etc. Infa from potatoes? Malades, direct top source of information. Potatoes fulfill their wet dreams, and you just play along with them ...
yes, infa from VG. But you and I know that all the “top-secret developments found in the archives” are student term papers and theses 😀
But seriously, the game has long moved away from historicity. And new technology needs to be added to maintain interest. Yes, and these tanks seem to me more interesting than the Italians TT
