Fragments of memory in Honkai: StarRail - crystals containing memories of the research Amphoreus. How to Get Memory Shards in Honkai: Star Rail
Despite the many objects for research, scattered memory fragments are only given out for certain actions, so we will list in more detail the main ways to obtain them.
Walkthrough of adventure missions
Take part in the secondary quests of the "Eternal Land" and upon completion of each of them you will earn 5 memory fragments each (15 pieces in total).
For adventure missions not listed in the "Crossroads of Fates" you will receive 2 memory shards (12 pieces in total):
- "Somewhere else";
- "Girl, coins, house";
- "Expectation and Reality";
- "The Mysterious Rite";
- "Love in the Time of the Black Current";
- "Shattered Memories".
This reward is not part of the main awards and therefore is not displayed among the materials for completing the task.
Walkthrough of hidden tasks
In addition to the main missions, each planet has hidden quests that are not displayed on the Crossroads of Fates. They are started by talking to certain NPCs, studying certain things, or visiting a specific point. For each completed secret quest get 1 memory shard.

Interaction with objects in the environment
When exploring a region, inspect all surrounding objects, since the first contact with almost every one of them will be credited 1 memory fragment each (total 6):
- pedestal with holy flame;
- Janus horse;
- prayer and receiving a blessing from a cup of water;
- Geosaurus ride (stop climbing on it and immediately get down);
- Lion of Truth statue;
- The Light of Georios (he needs to be supplied with resources, be it credits or items).

Interacting with the inhabitants of Amphoreus
Some of the inhabitants of Amphoreus give out after dialogues 1 memory shard... These include:
- simple NPCs (for example, talking to one of them opens access to membership in the baths, and also in the Holy City you can encounter the bard Lipos wandering around it and moving on a geosaur);
- some merchants;

Restoring items with Oronis
The first place you will come across broken objects is in the Eternal Holy City of Ochem, which can be repaired by applying special powers from the Titan Oronis (the hourglass symbol or the space bar). If you repair any of them for the first time, you will earn 1 memory shardSome of these things include:
- fallen columns;
- broken statues;
- lamp supports;
- reading lamps;
- broken vases and so on.
Once you restore any of the listed objects, you will no longer earn a memory shard for interacting with any other - the reward is one-time.
Where to find memory shards in Honkai: Star Rail
You can check the current number of memory fragments in "Inventory" in category "Missions", where among all the things you will see them closer to the end of the list. Next we will list for the first conversations with which NPCs and golden descendants you will be able to earn 1 unit of currency.
Lipos
On the road near the Ohema Marble Palace, meet the bard on the Geosaurus to listen to his ballad and collect achievement "Poetry on Horseback".
Bacchus

There are two main ways to use memory shards in HSR:

To decipher the prophecy, Aglaya needs nymphs, reborn in the world as butterflies and other creatures, so in almost every zone of Amphoreus there is a task to find them.
In the Holy City of Ochem, in the Garden of the Nymphs, go to Aglaia's Golden Cocoon, and in the other areas, look for an "outpost" with a butterfly icon to talk to the weaver in charge of that location.
In a conversation with the Seamstress, select the lines one by one "Where are there any other nymphs?" и "Pass on the fragments of memory", after which, in exchange for 1 memory shard, the location of 1 yet undiscovered nymph of creation will be marked on the map.
In addition to the visual clue, the Seamstress will share the creature's text location. She will repeat it only once and in subsequent dialogues, until you find the nymph, she will move you to the map with the shown mark.
Buying items in the Janus Horse shop
In the northern part of Ohema on the 1st floor, find a teleportation point "The Courtyard of the Three Seasons", a little northwest of it you will come across a wooden horse.
In the shop "Janus Horse" thanks to action "Get the memory fragment" you will be able to see the store's assortment (this choice does not consume an item, to view products you need to have 1 unit of currency in your inventory).
To purchase all the items of the "Janus Horse" you will need 57 memory shards:
- Mystery Gift (Large) for 15 and Mystery Gift (Small) for 5 Memory Shards.
- Music records for 2 memory shards: "Under the Seat of Dawn", "Between Whims", "The Pastoral of the Land", "Promenade of Tides", "Beacon Smoke Residue", "To Gorgo", "Grapevine and Mountain Goat", "Trampled Snake".
- Recipes for epic consumables for 6 memory shards: "Night Veil Bundle".
- Recipes for rare consumables for 4 memory shards: "Geozaur Steak", "Shield of Kremnos".
- Recipes for common consumables for 2 shards: "Golden Pancakes", "Unfiltered Ambrosia", "Dried Fruit of the Sages".
- Recipes for simple consumables for 1 unit of currency: "Red soil feed".
Achievement Dust of Time
Receive a Memory Shard for the first time and unlock the achievement Dust of Time, related to the trophy page "Our Memories" and giving 5 as a reward star jades.
Achievement Weeping Meadow of Yesterday
Collect 100 Memory Shards to unlock the achievement Crying Meadow of Yesterday. Visit the achievements section "Our Memories" and take 5 for it star jades.
