Funeral Service in Arknights Endfield: build, equipment and rotation guide

Maximize Seš'qa Coordinator's damage output by selecting the best gear and team for her.

The funeral service hovers in the air

Last Rite is a 6⭐ Operator in Arknights: Endfield, Striker class hero who deals cryo damage with her combo skill and ultimate. In combat, she focuses on stacking the charges of cryo damage; her overall DPS and the energy recovery rate that the unit receives from its abilities alone depend on this.

She only applies stacks with her final hit, and only when she has the effect from her combat skill. While she can use it more often thanks to the SP return, with the right allies, she can achieve much greater effectiveness and increase her damage.

How to get

Last Rite, like a standard fighter, can be randomly dropped from the following banners:

  • “Standard Headhunting” - within 80 attempts with a probability of 0,8%;
  • "Headhunting: New Horizons" - with a small chance for 40 pulls (newbie event);
  • "Special Headhunting" - in case of a 50/50 loss, one of the seven operators is picked without an increased chance.

Is also guaranteed for selection in a regular banner after 300 attempts (see "Designation Selection").

Strengths and Weaknesses

Seš'qa Coordinator is a cryo-based attacker with high burst damage. However, without proper execution and teamwork, she can't fully utilize her abilities.

Strengths Weaknesses
Explosive damage, useful against bosses or targets with a lot of health. An expensive ult (240 units), and without its stable use, a significant part of the damage is lost.
Applies Cryo Vulnerability to enemies, increasing the DPS of a Mono-Cryo team. Unlike other Operators, the Ultimate is not restored by the skills of other team members.
The effect of the battle skill is not tied to the heroine, so she can be a controlled Operator or give up this role to another one. The long animations somewhat slow down the process of gaining Ice stacks, as they require a finishing attack.
She can use a combat skill before the battle starts (like Xaihi), which saves skill points and speeds up rotation. Without suitable allies, charges build up more slowly. It's important to ensure all abilities are used at the right time.

How to Build Last Rite Build in Arknights: Endfield

For the heroine, the main stats are strength and will. To further boost her damage, she'll need crits, ATK, and a cryo bonus for her gear/weapon. Her ult is quite demanding, so boosting her energy buildup rate wouldn't hurt either, as long as it doesn't impact her overall damage.

Weapon Tier List

The signature weapon, the Khravengger, outperforms other options by approximately 20%. Therefore, it's best to get it first. Regarding stats and passives, boosts to key stats are essential: Strength, Will, cryo bonus, ATK, and Critical Hit. If you're constantly struggling with your ultimate in your rotation, you can use a sword with Energy.

Claymore Description

Khravengger (6⭐)

Strength +20-156

Cryo Bonus +5,6-43,3%

+ 20-56% to skill damage. When the basic attack imposes cryo vulnerability, grants +10-28% to this type of damage for 15 sec. When the owner deals combo damage to a target with the cryo effect, they gain +20-56% to the damage dealt by this element for 15 seconds. Bonuses are applied independently of each other. Multiple charges cannot be accumulated.

Sundered Prince (6⭐)

Strength 20-156

Critical chance 2,5-19,5%

When you land the last hit, you get +10-28% to ATK for 8 sec. If the wielder is a controlled hero, they gain a double attack bonus, and their final strike inflicts 12-33,6% More Stagger. Similar effects do not stack.

Seeker of Dark Lung (5⭐)

Strength 16-124

Energy accumulation rate +4,8-37,1%

+ 5-14% to the main stat. After the explosion of the arts grants + 6-16,8% to ATK for 30 seconds, stacking up to three times. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. The effect occurs once every 0,1 seconds.

Industry 0.1 (4⭐)

Strength 12-93

Attack 3-23,4%

When the wearer hits a target with their combat skill, they receive +12-33,6% to ATK for 20 sec. Similar bonuses do not stack.

Exemplar (6⭐)

Main stat +17-132

Attack +5-39%

+ 10-28% to physical damage. When hit by an ability or ult + 10-28% to Physical Damage for 30 seconds, stacking up to three times. The duration of each charge is calculated separately. The effect activates once every 0,1 seconds.

Choosing the equipment

In the case of equipment, similar key characteristics are required: strength and will. The bonus of the chosen set should increase the coordinator's personal damage and complement her mechanics.

Equipment set Description
Tide Surge (lvl 70)
3 parts: +20% damage from skills. When applying 2 or more arts charges to a target, +35% damage is applied to that target for 15 seconds. The buff does not stack.
Aburrey's Legacy (level 36-50)
3 parts: Skill DPS +24%. When the unit uses a combat skill, combo, or ultimate, gain +5% ATK for 15 seconds. These bonuses are unique and do not stack.

For the 4th part you can use LYNX gloves, if you need a higher Energy generation rate. However, this will negatively impact DPS.

Recommended Stats

When choosing equipment, the main emphasis should be placed on the following parameters:

Equipment slot Stat
Body Strength/will
Hands Strength/will
EDC Strength/will
Main bonuses
  • cryo damage
  • Combat Skill Damage
  • Damage to staggered enemies
  • Damage of all skills
  • Energy Recharge rate

Last Rite Team Guide

The team for Last Rite should include characters with Cryo effect, which is required for continuous rotation and consistent damage output. Group placement is also important: it's best to always place the heroine at the end to trigger a combo after all the buffs have been applied.

Best allies

Heroes that synergize well with the unit:

Operator Features
Xaihi (Support: Cryo)

The combat skill creates a crystal that, after disappearing, activates a combo and grants a cryo charge. The effect is triggered by the last hit, just like the Coordinator's skill, which applies two stacks at once.

Equally important is the ult, which increases the team's ice damage. It's best used before combos and Last Rite's ultimate to maximize the overall damage.

Tantan (Castor: Cryo)
Excellent sub-DD, overlaying infliction on multiple enemies at once, and if the skill creates multiple whirlpools, it also makes the enemies susceptible to elemental damage. By snagging mobs in the ultimate, it ensures team survivability and more "windows" for dealing damage.
Wisdom (Caster: Nature)
In the "Will" mode, it is a universal applicator that applies charges infliction any element. It allows you to quickly gain the required number of stacks and further increases targets' susceptibility to Cryo with combos. It also constantly pulls enemies in, which is useful in AoE content.
Ardelia (Support: Nature)

She applies Arts Vulnerability, absorbing battle skill Corrosion, which is a powerful buff, and her healing preserves the party's health. Additionally, she can equip weapons and equipment with additional effects.

The combo doesn't work on an enemy with art effect, Therefore, it is better to activate it at the beginning of the rotation, putting it in the first position in the group.

Fluorite (Caster: Nature)
Conveniently applies charges with her ult and combo skill. The only drawback is that the high cost of her ultimate and long cooldown mean you'll have to wait a long time to use it again. In short battles, she shines thanks to her quick combo trigger.
Perlica (Caster: Electric)

A versatile secondary damage dealer who buffs her teammates, including with the weapon. Her combo uses electrification, increasing the damage dealt by arts.

It's recommended to avoid using her skill in order not to trigger the cryo reaction, which will disrupt your rotation. It's best to place her in the third position to ensure proper combo execution.

Snowshine (Defender: Cryo)
Another support, maintaining survivability through healing and defense. Her main advantage is the ability to inflict Cryo stacks. However, this requires counterattacking at the right moment, which is difficult to do in the heat of battle.
Yvonne (Caster: Cryo)
The effect of the coordinator's battle skill extends to the controlled hero, so she can play alongside another damage dealer. Yvonne is good at draining the health of dense targets, synergizing with Cryo stacks and finishing blows, but her ability absorbs elemental status effects, which is worth considering.
Estella (Guard: Cryo)
A decent 4-star sub-dps for a starting team. Her combat ability applies Cryo effect that spreads to targets in a straight line. However, Estella only offers one cryo stack and doesn't contribute anything else to the team, making her a good choice for other units later in the game.

Rotation

The gameplay is based on the accumulation of cryo charges, used to trigger the combo skill and apply cryo vulnerability. Combos are one of the key sources of ultimate regeneration, so the heroine relies heavily on stacks. She only applies one charge with her skill, meaning her allies have to be involved in this process.

Having accumulated the required amount of energy, the Coordinator deals explosive damage with her ult at the end of her rotation. Since this ability, along with combos, is the main source of damage, its consistent activation will be key to effective combat. Given the discussed features of the skill set, the sequence of actions will be as follows:

  1. Try to always use the heroine's and Xaihi's (if she's in the party) combat skill before entering the battle to save SP.
  2. Perform a full series of attacks, making sure to land the final blow to apply the cryo charges from the combo between Xaihi and the battle skill of the damage dealer.
  3. Repeat step #2. This time, use the girl's battle skill after about 2-3 basic hits, as the attack animation won't be interrupted, but you'll be able to skip the animation.
  4. At the same time, place cryo stacks with other characters depending on their mechanics.
  5. Having appled 3 stacks of the cryo effect , first activate your support's buffing abilities, then the Coordinator's combo skill. This way, you'll absorb them, deal high damage, and gain a lot of energy.
  6. It is advisable to use the ult after the combo to attack enemies vulnerable to cryo.

You can further optimize your rotation by canceling the 2nd and 4th basic hit animations after hitting an enemy using the dodge button.

As a rule, with the Tidal Surge equipment it is enough to use 3 skills and 2 combos to fully restore the ultimate ability.

Priority for skill upgrading

Open-world memorial service

Seš'qa Coordinator can be the main character or delegate the active role to an ally. This is due to the combat skill: it affects the Operator the player controls, allowing to attack with another team member if that's more advantageous. For example, if their basic attack speed is higher.

If the heroine is the main unit, the development priority is as follows:

Combo Skill = Ult >= Basic Attack > Combat Skill

Let's briefly explore each skill separately:

  • Combo "Winter's Devourer" consumes charges of cryo effect. The amount of damage and energy obtained depends on the number of stacks consumed (3 charges - 85 units, 4 charges - 100 units).
  • Ult "Vigil Services" performs 3 slashing attacks and gains immunity to all types. Each attack deals significant cryo damage.
  • Basic attack "Dance of Rime" is a series of attacks that generate a small amount of SP. When the controlled Operator lands the final attack, inflicts 25 points of Staggered.
  • Battle skill "Esoteric Legacy of Seš'qa" applies an effect to the weapon and returns some SP. When the main character delivers a finishing blow, applies cryo vulnerability. If the heroine herself is on the battlefield, the skill does not reset her basic attack sequence.

For a less active position, level the abilities as follows:

Combo Skill = Ult > Combat Skill > Basic Attack

In both cases the girl plays off her combo skill and ult. These abilities deal a lot of damage and are closely related, so they're always leveled up first. The Ultimate costs energy and isn't charged by allies' abilities. This is where the combo kicks in, increasing its damage and granting additional energy when consuming Cryo stacks.

Materials for leveling up Last Rite

The table shows all the resources needed to fully strengthen your character:

Panikhida leveling materials

In Arknights: Endfield, the Cryo Operator Last Rite is a powerful damage dealer focused on taking down single targets in a short period of time. She's great for content that requires defeating large enemies, but requires careful team setups.

Does the Panikhida + Tantan + Alesh + Saihi squad play well? I could, of course, replace Alesh with Fluorite, but I have it for the waifu factor. Could you tell me if I should change anything?

I've put together a pretty good squad with Panikhida, but I think it'll be a little weaker than the ones in the article, but a little more accessible. The squad: Panikhida, Antal, Fluorite, and Estella. The build is simple: first, use Antal's combat skill (battalion), then Estella's or Panikhida's battalion, Fluorite's combo skill (combat master), and finally Panikhida's battalion. This means you can use Panikhida's battalion twice in a short battle. First, use Panikhida's battalion and Estella's battalion with Fluorite. And the second time, use Antal's battalion, followed by Panikhida's/Estella's battalion.

What do you think about this build? Panahida is a DD, Fluorite is for reactions and combos, Yvonne is a sub DD, and Saihi is a heal.

Write out your build's rotation. Panikhida usually goes as a sub-DD in Yvonne's pack.

And Gilbert and the requiem are not played at all?

While I'm waiting for Yvonne's banner, I installed Ardelia Sayhi and Gilberto (instead of Perlika). Of course, you have to press a lot of buttons and think about the order of actions, but overall it works, and the tie is not bad.
