Eide is determined to visit the sanctuary again and meet the "deity". The traveler is going to follow him.
Re-enter the cave
Return to the already explored Unknown Shrine. At the entrance, the system will recommend to take to the squad character pyro - this is useful for fighting with slimes.
Go to the mysterious statue
After entering the ruins, move straight ahead until you come across a group of Electro Slimes. Deal with the opponents so that the doors at the end of the room open.
Continue straight down the corridor and turn right at the end. Defeat some Cryo slimes to interact with the mechanism and open the door.
When you get to the place, you will find that this time there is neither a suspended statue nor the mysterious voice of the "Sinner". The traveler and the confused Eide go home.
Return to Eide's house
The heroes will find themselves in Eide's hut automatically. It will immediately be discovered that Caribert has disappeared from his bed. The only evidence was a broken mirror. Eide suggested that the son took off his mask contrary to his father's instructions, and, seeing his true face, fled the house. The heroes rush in search of Karibert.
Find clues outside and keep looking for Karibert
Running out into the street, you will find another clue - Caribret's mother's handkerchief is on one of the boxes. Continue searching towards the forest.
The heroes will stumble upon a group of patrol workers. Talk to the guards. One of the sentinels will tell you about an unusual hilichurl, which he recently saw, and give a tip on his whereabouts. Throwing everything, the heroes run to check the indicated place.
Continue searching for Caribert using the hint
Thanks to the hint, Caribert is found standing on the edge of the cliff. Hilichurl does not come out to talk, and the Traveler assumes that he has lost his mind again. However, a small cut-scene soon begins, where the boy nevertheless begins to speak. At the same time, a strange purple aura comes out of him, and he himself talks about suffering until he gives up and tears off the mask from his face.
Suddenly the Traveler wakes up in the house. Eide, standing next to him, admits that he is not who he claims to be, and during the conversation the main character comes to understand that everything that happens actually took place a very long time ago and not at all with him.
Talk to Dinsleif
The traveler regains consciousness for the second time - now he is awakened by Paimon and dainsleif. He tells his friends about what happened. Dinesleif explains that a certain Klothar from the vision was involved in the creation Orders of the Abyss, and the protagonist's twin joined him.
The traveler asks to dig up the field to check something. Together with Dinslef, they discover the remains of a woman and a man holding a handkerchief that belonged to Caribert's mother. The heroes assume that Klothar has overcome the curse of immortality, and Dinesleif leaves to think things over and rummage through his memory. This ends the quest, and for completing it, you will receive an achievement called Karibert.
