During the mission, you'll need to speak with all the patients and find the first clues leading to the cause of the spread of the disease. Before beginning the main part of the mission, you can optionally You can explore the entire monasteryAfter talking to Petromil under the tree, he'll give you a tour of the main rooms and explain the rules.

Go with Albicus to the hospital

Complete the tour, or visit the infirmary in the eastern part of the monastery yourself. After speaking with Albicus and Zacharias, you can take two skill challenges to gain reputation. If you don't have enough learning points, we recommend choosing the following dialogue options to avoid losing respect:

  • "It's hard to say."
  • Nod.
  • Keep silent.
  • "Defender of Albicus".
  • "What did you find out?"
  • Keep silent.
  • "How can I help?"

Talk to confessor Stepan

The healer will ask you to speak with three sick people. First, go to Stepan, who's lying nearby. In the dialogue with him, pass at least one of the three tests:

  • "We are looking for the source of this disease" - scholarship, very complex.
  • “It’s not just you” is a very difficult belief.
  • “You won’t have to break the secrecy of confession” is coercion, difficult.

The easiest way to get verified is through convictionIf it doesn't work out, you can always revert to the autosave that occurs before the conversation. If you fail, simply move on to the next objective.

After giving the tip, the confessor will ask you to bring him flowers, but there's no reward for helping Stepan. You can pick a bouquet in the garden west of the cathedral; it's important to do this before completing the quest. After leaving the infirmary, you'll run into Madla, who will give you the side quest "Devil's Pain," which is available until you finish "Anamnesis."

Search the cell of confessor Stepan

You need to search for clues in Stepan's room, which is located in the west wing on the corner. The man previously gave Henry the key if he passed the skill check.

Optionally, you can examine the flowers on the shelf, then open the chest and examine the contents.

Talk to Librarian Crispin

The next point is the library. You'll meet Crispin in the far left corner. Answer all of his brother's questions to activate two new objectives. You can pet a cat by the shelf closest to him: interacting with the animal repeatedly will earn you an achievement.

Inspect Yaroslav's belongings

At the exit from the reading room inspect the desk, on which Yaroslav's book lies, read it and move on.

Proceed to the second floor and enter the fifth cell of the ordinary monks. Close the door behind you and pick the mid-level lock: inside the chest you'll find an ancient cellar plan.

Talk to monk Celestine

Following the librarian's lead, head to Celestine, who resides in the church's main hall. The main gate is closed; go around the north side of the building and climb the scaffolding to gain entry.

The man stands in front of the iconostasis. When examining Yaroslav's book, select the option "He's hardly translated anything lately." With this option, Celestine will tell you about the basement and provide more clues. If you haven't examined the monk's belongings, you'll have to take skill checks.

Search the monastery cellar

From the church, head south to the stairs leading to the basement. They're located near the exit to the courtyard.

Continue forward without turning. Behind the first door, you can examine a cage on the left; you'll find some food in the chest. Continue through the next passage, picking a very easy lock. Continue until you find a red puddle on the left. First, examine the large pile of wine on the floor, then the footprints behind.

Make your way through the scaffolding to the alleyway where there's a secret door. To open it, you'll need find the key to the door cellar. The item will be automatically obtained during the next objective.

Talk to the steward Zdenek

Head to the northern wall of the monastery settlement. Once through the gate, you'll immediately encounter Zdenek. Talk to the steward and ask all your questions: the man will point to the maid's room and describe Valeria, the sick girl's friend.

First, you should talk to Valeria; you'll need to pass a few skill checks:

  • “Why are you so tense?” is a difficult conviction.
  • "I'll talk to the abbot" is a difficult impression test.
  • "I can protect you" is a complex assertiveness, an alternative to the second line.

If you succeed in two consecutive checks, you'll be able to get more information from the girl. If you fail to get her to talk, take Zdenek away and start a conversation with the maid again.

It is optional to search Blazhena's room, there is a chest of interest near the left bed, from which you can get master keys. Then take the key from the table from the pantry - this will simplify further research.

Go down to the first floor and go into the room in front of the stairs, take the housekeeper's key from the table in the corner.

Search the cellar

Go down to the cellar located behind Zdenek. There you will need to inspect all three roomsOne door will be open, a key to the second was previously found, and the third needs to be forced. After examining all the evidence, you discover that the steward is diluting the wine and keeping the money for himself.

Deal with Zdenek

Once you reach the top, engage the scammer in conversation. Pass an Intimidation check ("I'm not going anywhere"), then follow Zdenek to the barn. If you managed to intimidate the steward earlier, you'll receive the key. Otherwise, you'll have to try your luck with skill checks again, or take the item by force by beating up the scoundrel.

Search the secret room in the cellar

Return to the previously discovered room in the cellar beneath the monastery. Unlock the door and you'll find Monk Wojciech there. Discuss all the questions and choose your lines:

  • "Tell me at least one joke."
  • "Let's tell another joke."

Ask the comedian to tell jokes until he runs out; this will earn you the "Survivor" achievement. Finally, promise the man not to tell anyone about what happened to boost your reputation.

Search Arnošt's cell

After speaking with Wojciech, go visit Brother Arnošt, who lives near Stepan. In the room, examine the man's body, look in the chest, and examine the monk's workstation.

Return to Albicus

Return to the healer and tell him everything you've discovered, without concealing any details. Afterward, Henry and the doctors will go to the abbot. In the dialogue with him, choose the option "Keep silent about the secret scriptorium" and pass a difficult persuasion check to increase your reputation. Volunteer to explore the crypt yourself and offer Albicus your assistance. After completing the quest, two new quests will appear in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2: Prevention и "Silent Witnesses".
