The first official trailer for the third part of the film Avatar - Fire and Ash has been released. The release of the film was postponed several times, but now the final release date has been announced - 19 Dec 2025The film was produced by the irreplaceable James Cameron in tandem with Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver, and was produced by him and Jon Landau.
Avatar 3 was filmed in parallel with the sequel The Way of Water, and a little over $250 million was allocated for the continuation of the story. The cast mainly consists of Sam Worthington, who is already familiar to fans, as Jake Sully, Zoe Saldana, who played Neytiri, Stephen Lang and other key actors from previous parts.
The events of the third installment take place shortly after the events of the sequel: Jake Sully and his family will encounter an aggressive clan of volcanic people, the Na'vi, who live near lava lakes and completely reject faith. The main location is scorched biomes, where conflicts between clans, internal strife and moral dilemmas will unfold. Cameron himself stated his desire to add more emotional drama and plot twists.
The film will run for over 3 hours, with the original footage planned for a 9-hour trilogy. The main themes will be anger, ash, and grief, as the constant cycle of hostility on Pandora. The fourth part will be released in December 2029, and the fifth in December 2031, continuing the development of a rich and beloved universe.

I still remember how the Director/Owner of the Company (a Caribbean man from Grenada) told me that he saw the best movie of all time with his wife and kids over the weekend, where everything is absolutely there and it looks absolutely amazing, and I, as the deputy (the second of three, damn :DDD) asked, “What’s the name of this movie?” and he said, with a typical Caribbean slow-motion accent, “Abbatoir.”
This is my memory of Avatar.
The film itself is okay, even though it's a copy of Kevin Costner's "Dances with Wolves" (1990)
Oh yeah, I forgot to explain what the joke was, Abbatoir is "Slaughterhouse" so I was a little stunned then.
I've always loved Avatar and was thrilled to see the second installment premiere. I even recently bought the game and thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing that's a bit annoying is the three-hour runtime. It's great to watch in the theater, especially the 3D, but I was so tired after the last movie. It's hard to say there was anything unnecessary; Cameron really does develop the characters and builds to a conclusion (except for the twist ending, which I thought would never end). But after watching the second installment, I went home and soon went to bed. XD. Still, I'd still love to watch it.
I was lucky. There's a movie theater in my city with soft reclining seats, and three hours literally flew by. I don't go to movies much anymore, but it would be a shame not to see Avatar—it's so beautiful, and the big screen reveals 100% of the image. I still remember the moment with the "jellyfish" and all the other particles as the camera flew through the water—it was amazing. You can't see that on TV anymore.
