Current version Genshin Impact 7.0 "Merciless Frost" was released on August 12, 2026. The main events of the patch:
- New Characters Released 5⭐ Odettes (Cryo), 4⭐ Alyosha (Electro, polearm) and Odette's signature claymore A Teaspoon of Transcendence
- Reruns Harlequin (Pyro, pole), Flinsa (Electro, pole), Ineffs (Electro, polearm)
- New area Snezhnaya

The update schedule may vary, but generally new versions are released every six weeks. Each patch introduces new activities, allowing you to enjoy gameplay and earn Primogems. Nine updates are expected to be released in 2026, ending with the Traveler arriving in Snezhnaya.

These are just guesses based on past years, nothing more. There should be a quest with Dainsleif.
Snezhnaya is currently predicted for 7.0, and in 6.x, Nod-Kray, a part of it, will supposedly be released, and they will develop the already released regions.
