In honor of the release of the official ending to Attack on Titan, fans have shared a trailer for their alternate ending, Attack on Titan Requiem, and announced a tentative release date - autumn 2024 years. This project was started back in 2021 by a group of fans dissatisfied with the canonical ending of the story and is a rewrite of chapters 137-139 of the original, which is being published in parts on the official website. Looks like the doujinshi is now getting an anime adaptation.
The inspiration and basis for the doujinshi was the music video "Akatsuki no Requiem", and on their website the team of authors stated that this is fan fiction and all rights to the story still belong to the owners of the original story and, in particular, Hajime Isayama. According to the creators, Attack on Titan throughout almost the entire plot touched upon difficult and controversial topics, raised many difficult questions, and posed moral dilemmas for the characters, but at the end of the story, the authors reduced almost all of these things to comedy or romance, or they were simply forgotten.
MAPPA filmed the final chapters of the manga two years after its release, and many fans, dissatisfied with the canon ending of the story, hoped for a change in the anime. The studio followed the letter of the original, only partially changing the storyboard and showing the further fate of several characters in the credits.

Write to comments, are you waiting for the alternative ending of Attack on Titan, and look at other news on our website in a special section anime.
I am Eren Jaeger and I have a dream
Well, at least Eren won't be a wimp there! I'm really looking forward to it.
If Eren doesn't die there, I'm really looking forward to it!!
This is nonsense...
What kind of fans are you if you don't like this masterpiece?
Nothing can beat Attack on Titan anymore...
What do you want to do so that everyone can live peacefully and happily...
This is the genre, this is the universe, what's the point in changing anything if it was clear that this is how it would end and this is how it was supposed to end
Listen, if you don't like something
Then just keep quiet.
People want it and are waiting for it.
The only nonsense here is your comment.
As usual, fans came up with it themselves and then got disappointed. Classic.
The very fact that all of Eren's friends decided to stop him out of emotion in order to save people they don't know doesn't suit their character, especially Armin, who should think with his head, but without Armin they wouldn't have had a chance.
